This is the only place I Will always get my Pollo la brasa. There's is no place in Jersey that will they seasoned the chicken exactly the same as they do in Perú. I have tried many chick spot for the pollo la brasa and there's no one I like expect this place. The sauces for the chicken is home made exactly how it supposed to be made and the fries are fresh cut. I would drive almost 2 hours just to eat chicken at this place.
My wife and I went to La Caravana for an early dinner with the in-laws. It's a small restaurant and it's very busy. We have picked up takeout from this location multiple times and the food is always solid. The restaurant was packed, so we waited a few minutes for a table. First time ordering from this location a friend of mine recommended. Ordered over the phone for lunch and went to pick up. I personally ordered the seafood chaufa which was absolutely out of this world! So flavorful and for about $20 it was plentiful I shared with a friend. My other friends ordered a soup and a fish platter (not pictured). The location is very comfy and cozy. You can sit down and eat for a quick meal or sit down dinner.
