Tumi Peruvian Restaurant

This is a ghost kitchen for Dickey's Barbecue Pit. This is not a real Dickey's location and they do not smoke the meat the same way as a normal Dickey's place. I called the location after seeing their number on the Dickey's app to stop in on my way into NYC. I needed to charge my car and wanted to stop to get a meal. I was told on the phone that it was a pickup only location and had to order online. I proceeded to order and pay through the app. I set my pickup time according to my gps. When I arrived, I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. The young lady behind the counter was busy but could have looked up and said "I'll be right with you" or something similar. When I was finally acknowledged, she proceeded to let me know they didn't get my order. I showed her my order number right on my phone. Instead of looking at it and just verbally telling the kitchen, she proceeded to do something else. After 5 minutes, she escalated the issue to another staff member. He was quite rude. He attempted to restart the device to get it back online. He said they couldn't get online. At this point I am 25 minutes there. I showed him my phone several times, at one point he snatched my phone and was scrolling up and down. He was very annoyed that he had to do anything at all. Finally, an older lady came and ordered the food. I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes to do 2 brisket sandwiches and Mac and Cheese sides. This is when it I realized that this wouldn’t be the same food. So, if you are a dickey’s customer, you know that the meat is smoked hours prior to service. All they have to do is slice the brisket and scoop the mac and cheese in a container. They literally prepared some meat right there and then. When I asked why would it take that long to slice meat and put in a bun, I was told to leave and let another driver pick it up. All this time they thought I was an UberEats driver? WTF? I told them I was not a driver and that the food was for me. The guy that was annoyed and acting indignant said something in Spanish, assuming I don’t speak Spanish. As I was about to respond, the older lady shoved a white plastic bag triple knotted. At this point my son called me from the car, battery level was at 15% and the AC had just shut off. I still needed to drive to the nearest Supercharger. So, I grabbed the bag and decided responding to the rude staff member was not worth my time. I decided to take the high road. I was letting it go. Until I arrived at the charger, I plugged in and my son and I tore the bag open; the knots were so tight, there was no way to open it. I realized they had only given me ONE sandwich instead of the two I ordered. I let my son eat the sandwich and he told me it wasn’t edible. The meat was tough and smothered in BBQ sauce. The sandwiches we are used to have meat that is tender and flavorful. The sauce is always served on the side and have crisp pickles and onions. This was the worst Dickey’s sandwich ever. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. So, if by any chance you are trying to purchase good smoked barbecue meat - THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET IT.

Es la segunda vez que como aquí, su mayonesa es muy buena, el arroz y papas estuvieron bien. Pero el pollo no lo asaron bien, cerca al hueso aún seguia sangre, y la carne estaba entre roja y rosada… Esta vez pedi q lo asen un poco mejor pero de nada sirvio, al llegar a casa nos llevamos la fea sorpresa de q no lo asaron bien, amanecimos algo mal del estomago. Recomiendo tomen en cuenta la observación, la primera vez pense q pudo ser un error y le pasa a cualquiera por eso volví, pero definitivamente ya no regresare.
