The sweetness levels also seem to match the choices I picked, which again I find hit and miss at other places. On top, the service was excellent. Only downside is the plaza is a bit run down and it can be difficult to find parking.“

“Fairly new resident of Cliffside park. Wanted a place to get seamoss without ordering it online and it being a more expensive hassle. Also a place for juicing and other natural foods. This place was right in my backyard, and before i called with many questions on seamoss choices and how much can i get to freeze and etc. they not only were patient, professional but also berry knowledgeable. This place offers so many different sea moss variations , you can’t go wrong with any! Tested the ginger tubers flavor and WOW. Immediately changed my order to include that liquid gold literally. I got 12 jars of seamoss, including the ginger tumeric, blue spirulina, green spirulina and purple. It's coconut based and pretty thick and fattening, but very good. I got it with butter free roti and it came with rice. The lamb was not too fatty and was very tender - really excellent! Might not get the curry again because it is so fattening with all the coconut milk, or maybe I can just avoid eating all the coconut milk curry and only eat some of it plus the meat.The chicken vepudu is good and interesting. I'm not sure if it comes without dairy by default or if you have to order it special with no dairy. It is a bit hot for me but if I take breaks between eating then it's not too hot. “While walking back from my class trip at the Whitney Museum, I stumbled upon this wonderful shop and just had to have a look. I kept peaking over the menu by the window and was surprised with how many options they had, they had avocado toast, Açaí bowls, smoothies, juices etc… Since I was running late to my next class I just decided to settle for a smoothie. When I walked inside, the shop had such a beautiful atmosphere, with a few juices/ pastries on display. I even noticed some fresh fruit hanging in the back. I had a bit of trouble with my credit card on the card reader ( probably kept pulling it out to fast ) and the wonderful lady behind the cashier ( who’s name I wish I asked for ) was so sweet and understanding that she just didn’t mind helping me out with that. When she finished making the smoothie my goodness I was blown away by the flavor. I picked a smoothie that had mango, mint, spinach, pineapple and honey called Mango Tango. Such a good combination of ingredients!! I usually don’t finish smoothies all the way but with this one, I drank it to the bottom of the cup haha I highly recommend stopping by this place, it’s like a hidden gem!! ❤️❤️“

I love mexican cuisine, but this restaurant didn't do it for me, & here is why. They don't have traditional margaritas. They don't use tequila to make their margaritas. They use wine or something that was just weird to me. I tried it, & didn't like it. They don't give you sour cream with your steak tacos. When I asked one of the guys about this, he said that's only at taco bells. I just laughed, because one I don't eat taco bells. Two, I've been to serval Mexican restaurants, that have sour cream, & the chucky salsa. Anyhow, I had a Mexican pineapple soda, that was pretty tasty. The employees there was super friendly. The waitress that had my table was nice & attentive.I'm sure they have other delicious items on their menu, but I don't like the fact, that I would have to go somewhere else to have a cocktail. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“

“I ordered a chai latte on a Saturday at 12:30 PM. It was perfect flavor, sweetness and temperature. I got it with almond milk. I brought in a bagel from another place. However, I saw that they also sell bagels and I heard people ordering an egg sandwich as well as other items, I also noticed they have healthy shakes as well. Since I live nearby I got a punchcard and I hope to visit soon. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty positive that it's Latin owned possibly female owned as well. There's not too much seating, I believe there's three tables of two inside and two tables outside. Luckily, not too many people stay for long periods of time I was able to stay for two hours, talking to my friend with no problem.“

“Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. Love the staff, love the service, love the food!Dietary restrictions: Only place I have ever found that has organic, no added sugar, gluten free, and dairy free options. We were immediately greeted with a smile and kindness, and when I asked if I could customize a drink, they assured me that they make juice fresh on the spot for each customer so I could do whatever I needed for my personal taste. While going over the menu, I noticed that they also have a juice cleanse option where you could take premade juices home. If you're driving, looking for parking in the surrounding area shouldn't be that bad, just don't double park directly out front, this part of Park Avenue is incredibly active. “The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“
