“Füdgarten is an absolute standout in every way! The service here is consistently warm and amazing, with a team that goes above and beyond to ensure both the food and the customer experience are of the highest standards. I recently made a 2-hour drive just to try their Thursday special, the Aztec Chicken, and let me tell you, it was worth every mile! The chicken was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful. The bed of quinoa it rested on was like a soft cloud, adding a wonderful texture to the dish. Every component of the Aztec Chicken was meticulously crafted, resulting in a dish that's not just delicious but a perfect harmony of ingredients. As a bonus, they surprised me with a complimentary protein cookie, which turned out to be the best I've ever had! I highly recommend Füdgarten to everyone in the area. Whether it's for their exceptional Thursday specials or their overall commitment to culinary excellence, you won't regret giving them a try.“

“This place is the best! Best beer selection on tap and bottled! The burgers are so damn good! Good mac and cheese, wings, tots, chipotle sauces, and more! Plenty of tvs. The main floor is more of a sports bar with a jukebox. Outdoor seating too with tvs. They the club upstairs if thats more your scene. Definitely one of my fav spots!“

“?? We were the last party arriving at 9pm on a Monday night. We sat at the bar and were served by Sebastian. The place lets you bring your own bottle of wine for a $50 cork fee which is so unique and great for a Michelin Star restaurant, and they don't make you feel cheap for doing it either. From start to finish the food was just so so so good, the atmosphere and service were absolutely perfect. I'll remember that triple fish first course till I'm 100 years old, especially the trout. Just wow. The beef with the potato made you feel at home with a touch of uniqueness. The dessert was perfectly balanced with some of the best blueberries ever. So glad we picked this restaurant for our night out in NY.“

“We started off with some tasty cocktails: A Japanese twist on a margarita and an amazing whiskey-based pink one (the name escapes me but it was truly unique and delicious. We had their rendition of a Caeser salad, which was enormous. The deep fried burrata was also quite big… and truly unique and scrumptious. I could have drank the cheesy broth all night. The fried hen was nice. The black cod was as well. The sticky pudding with lime ice cream dessert was massive, but the two of us managed. Also - get the potatoes…. A great compliment to everything.“

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“I absolutely loved this place!! The interior was so cute and felt like a great spot to grab a drink. We came here for brunch and got the Bread Basket for the table which was fire with the different spreads/honey butter. For y main, I tried the Eggs Cilbir which was surprisingly very filling. The yogurt flavor was delicious. I do think it could come with more bread though. Overall, really good experience. I'm sure I'll find my way back.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“We came with a friend and got to try most of the items. For three people, we shared some appetizers —— the seeded bread (7/10), scallops 7.5/10, duck bun (6/10), bucatini (7.5/10).The entrees were much better than the appetizers. Got the halibut, bbq pork, and duck breast. All were delicious, but the duck was definitely the best. Would come back for the main courses. Mille feuille was good too, not picturedCocktails were not memorable. Interior was beautiful!“

“Had a good brunch experience at Clinton, but it was not as hype-worthy as the videos I had seen on Tik Tok. The blueberry pancakes with mapple butter were delicious but I prefer Salt Cure’s. We also ordered the breakfast with poached eggs which was also good. The service and ambiance was good, although its always very busy. Definetly make a reservation if you are hoping to come here!“

“Came a second time for brunch and enjoyed myself. Comfortable seating indoors, polite staff, and yummy food. They don't rush you at all and there's a cute area near the bathroom perfect for photo ops albeit it's also a high foot traffic spot haha.“

“Chambers Wine Bar is ridiculously wonderful. Small but mighty; cozy but open; friendly but professional. Staff is super knowledgeable about menu items, wine options, and how to best ‘mix and match' their delightful choices. I want to go there for dinner whenever I am in NYC, and miss being able to do so when I am not lucky enough to be an Uber ride away. Do NOT miss this place!! RBH“

“The Tasting Menu was the most exquisite food I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. Each course presented an explosion of different flavors bursting in one's mouth, and the service was professional, friendly and kind. The service staff gave the impression of being in a private environment rather than a large restaurant.“

“Ever since you reopened, the food has been exquisite. The earlier years when it was GB&G, the different chefs never really found themselves. Since the reopening and the re-emergence of the original chef, I think, the food is back to its glory as it was 15 years ago. Regardless, service has always remained superlative. I do miss the complimentary exquisite breads, intermezzo and after dinner edibles though.“

“Visited for the first time and completely loved this restaurant. Service was good but my hesitation to place the 5th star really was more about timing and the intuitive check back. Our main server was polite and did his best but they were busy. I'm sure had we been there with just a bit fewer covers that he and his runners would have impressed just as the food did. We did the Chefs taste option and it was delicious and I recommend they option just to be able to sample so much more of the menu. The chef has created a fantastic journey across their menu and it is was delicious.“

“Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“Food was supreme here. I had the raw clams, fresh and presented well. Cocktail sauce was done with care. My main was spaghetti and clams in tomato sauce with arugula salad and a touch of spring onions, that was a very fine detail. The effort was notable in the food. Service could be more disciplined though, some staff prioritise chatting with each other over customer service. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Would love to come back but I live too far.“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“So here's the deal. Valerie is like a lot of places that have popped up in the city. Upscale vibe, geared towards 25-40 crowd, old school cocktails with a twist etc. Bar scene is busy. Our waiter was very nice. Food was good but for us at these prices should knock your socks off. Oysters very fresh, crab cake was just okay, they forgot our pork bao buns, it happens, and burger and side of corn were good. Portion sizes were also pretty decent. But again, at these prices in NYC we think it should be a home run. It was more like a double.“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“

“The cute little place is downstairs from the "Friends" apartment building. I came in for lunch one day while I was in the area playing tourists in my own city. The restaurant is small and clean inside, and they do offer outdoor dining. They have a limited sized menu with some pretty good options, and the prices are reasonable. I went with the Crispy Bell and Evans Chicken, and it is absolutely delicious. The skin was perfectly crisp, and the chicken itself was juicy. The mashed potatoes with gravy were superb. Service was great here as well. I was expecting your usual tourist trap kind of establishment, but this place exceeded my expectations. It is definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of "Friends" and are looking for a place to dine while in the area. I will stop in again the next time I want to play a tourist again in the area.“

“Everything was good, but the consensus between my friends and I were that we weren't really wowed by anything besides the desserts. For a group of 4, ordered 8 dishes (mostly heavier ones), 3 desserts, and 4 drinks, and we were all satiated.“

“Date: Sunday, May 5th, 2024 Time: around 2:30pm Party of: 5 What: After Lunch Drinks *Brooklyn Bootlegger ($18) *Monkey Shoulder: neat ($19) x2 *Sixth Sense ($17) *Oban Little Bay: neat ($19) After lunch, my group of 5 wandered to Dutch Fred's. It was kinda rainy, so a pretty chill vibe inside. Not too busy at all. We were seated at a table in the back. I saw a sign when I walked in mentioning the Best Gin Martini in New York 2023, so I ordered that. (I think it's the Brooklyn Bootlegger listed above.) I'm normally not a huge gin fan, but this was fine. Didn't have that herbaceousness I associate with gin. Plus, I used to drink vodka martinis all the time when I was younger, so this kinda took me back. Tho I was more of an olive girl than a twist girl. The decor was very eclectic. Flowers in the front, library in the back, and plates as wall hangings in between. A little all over the place, but we had the back area to ourselves, so had a good time just talking and catching up. Good spot to grab a gin martini.“
