“Went there for the first time last night, 99% sure the waitress said it was $2.75/plate and then you could order specific plates for 3.75/plate (or more for some of the special stuff). Went there again tonight but was charged 3.75/plate. If you're coming for a normal meal, I recommend it. Would NOT recommend if you're planning on doing an all you can eat sort of thing.“

“I have never had a better pork Katsu in my life! My friend offered to take me here and I had no idea what a treat this was. I had to take one home for my son. When I say the pork was still crispy when I got home 20mins later! Perfection and can't wait to go back!“

“This mom-and-pop hole in the wall sushi joint isn't aiming for Nobu, and that's part of its charm. With top-notch fish quality and surprisingly generous portion sizes, it's a unique experience. The large order, a feast for 5-6 adults, comes with an abundance of ginger, enough to start your own sushi joint.A friendly suggestion: pre-mixing the spicy tuna and salmon with their sauce, seasoned with Ichimi togarashi, could add an extra layer of flavor. Run by a mom and pop, this place exudes potential. I'll be back, perhaps on a quieter day, excited to delve deeper into what this unpretentious spot has to offer.“

“I have been here 2 times and if I didn’t have 3 little kids at home I would have been here for every birthday/anniversary/celebration I could. The freshness and tastiness of the food is by far above the rest. I can’t say enough great things. I recommend this place to everyone I can. Can’t wait to go back!“

“We had a wonderful Omakase experience with Chef Masa. He did surprise us with foods that were entirely new to us (like Sea Urchins). All the fish served were sourced from Japan and tasted like nothing we had before. The place was really hard to find because it was late evening and their front entrance is on a by-lane next to the back entrance of Kiky Jewelers.“

“I love supporting mom and pop shops, but this place was just mediocre. We ordered: 1. Two beef teriyaki bulgogi ($16.95/each for lunch pricing). It's unfortunate that the miso soup wasn't included for dine-in (they include it for take out only). This was a great portion, but a typical flavor. Nothing too special about this. 2. Crunch tuna roll ($13.95). Honestly, this was very plain and basic. This was just a California roll with spicy tuna & crunch bits on top. I normally love California rolls and spicy tuna, but it tasted a bit dry and not fresh. I would skip this. Ambiance: Small restaurant with only 2-3 table for dine in. I can tell this place is more known for to-go orders. Service: Very sweet and friendly, but a little slow even though we were the only table there. Our water wasn't checked for refills until she came to give us the check. Overall, I would skip the crunch tuna roll here (maybe other rolls are better) and stick with the beef bulgogi or possibly other items on the menu.“

“We went here to celebrate my partners birthday and we were not disappointed! We regularly talk about Raku Izakaya as an awesome place for a good time, so we knew what we were getting into. The staff were friendly, and didn't mind seating us before our reservation time, which was awesome because we didn't love the idea of standing around for 15 minutes. We were sat in a more private, larger table in the back that had comfortable bench seating.I was designated driver, but the rest of the table really enjoyed their Sake and beer.A few of us got entrees, but the rest ordered the small plates and just kept them coming. The small plates are definitely where Raku Izakaya shines. They have a lot of delicious options. All around, amazing night!Vegetarian options: Not that dishes are clearly labeled as vegetarian, but if you eat fish, you won't be wanting for other options- they have a large selection of seafood.“

“Got the teriyaki chicken lunch special today. $14.34 got me juicy teriyaki chicken, not too salty, salad with the typical ginger carrot dressing which wasn't too tangy, carrots, broccoli, brown rice and miso soup. It was a bargain if you ask me. Everything was greatVegetarian options: Sushi rolls, sides, apps & moreParking: May have to park on the side or behind, but sure to find something.“

“Great experience and highly recommended. Their Omakasan was better than expected, but that was not it. We also ordered yakitori and miso cod. Oh so goooood. The night ended with great ice cream and it's not just some ice cream that tasted like freezer burn. Get the red bean ice cream and you will not regret it. Highly recommend to rsvp at the bar. If you don't have a rsvp, you probably won't get a table for walking in, just FYI!“

“Best paninis ever! Friendly staff. Food is always delicious and fresh. I wish they were open later but I understand their hours. I could eat here everyday. Prices are reasonable. $9-13 for a panini. Not bad prices as it lasts me usually for two meals (depending on how hungry I am, and if I can stop myself from scarfing the whole sandwich down because it is so delicious it can be hard to stop myself).“

“A nice little sushi shop in Fort Lee. I had sushi/sashimi combo and a dragon roll. It was delicious, prepared well, and the fish was very fresh. Only difficulty going there can be finding parking. But on a mid week day or evening this should not be problem.“

“I been coming here a lot too. Pretty much every time I go Batten Ramen or Soba Azuma. After having nice lunch we come here for a after meal drank. We usually get coffee flavored bubble tea. This is at good location and service is good. I hardly ever see this place packed so, its easy to order and out. I will recommend here for nice bubble tea drink.“

“First time trying and it did not disappoint. I ordered hwe dup bap. It had the perfect portion of each fish and salad. The bimbimbap sauce was perfect with the bowl. It also came with sushi rice and a side of miso soup. Definitely looking forward to trying other menu items.“

“I came with a group of 5 for my birthday dinner, and we each ordered a hand roll set which were all so delish. We also ordered three entrees: spicy dalkgalbi, donkatsu, and beef short rib. They were all outstanding. I highly recommend coming here for a casual night out with friends or even a date night with your significant other.“
