“Great local bagel spot with friendly and fast service. I got the godfather and added mayo + honey mustard on an everything bagel and it was sooooo good. Paid about $11 for this and it was packed with meat. Definitely not the kind of sandwich you’d find at a regular deli, can’t wait to go back.“

“I’m Cuban and hey. I have to say. This is truly traditional Cuban place to enjoy. The best food, environment, music and drinks. I have to say. Specially Raiko. The bartender. He is going to make you feel special in every possible way. And trust me. I’m from Florida. 100% recommended“

“This place is walking distance and before dining in I had only gotten takeout so I was happy to experience sitting inside for a meal. For takeout I would usually get the curry puffs, chicken wings, and drunken noodles with chicken or duck--ALL amazing, so I decided to try different items this time. First, the green papaya salad was delicious, I was so close to drinking the dressing once I got to the bottom of the bowl. It's moderately sized, good enough to split as a first course. I also ordered the crispy chive cakes, 10/10 obsessed. They're so crispy on the outside and warm and kind of soft on the inside and they come with a sweet dipping sauce--I would eat these again and again. For entrees I ordered the pineapple fried rice, no protein just veggies, three flavors jumbo shrimp, and the incredibly crispy duck shu shee. Lastly, for dessert I got the crispy cheesecake. It's basically a deep fried cheesecake with a dollop of whipped cream, cute! The food is fantastic, I love finding local gems and there was one man running the show and taking tables. He was super attentive, even taking my used napkin out of my hand and bringing me a fresh one, oh my! The place is quiet, you can hear Stevie wonder gently pumping through the restaurant and it's nicely decorated inside and outside. It's BYOB but you can enjoy soft drinks and teas here as well.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“I've been to Dirt Candy twice, once in March 2023 and once in April 2024. I loved the experience and the food in March and decided to come again this year to taste a new menu. I appreciated the effort and creativity that they put into this new menu, but the execution was lacking.I would probably go back again in the future after they switch the menu again.“

“?? We were the last party arriving at 9pm on a Monday night. We sat at the bar and were served by Sebastian. The place lets you bring your own bottle of wine for a $50 cork fee which is so unique and great for a Michelin Star restaurant, and they don't make you feel cheap for doing it either. From start to finish the food was just so so so good, the atmosphere and service were absolutely perfect. I'll remember that triple fish first course till I'm 100 years old, especially the trout. Just wow. The beef with the potato made you feel at home with a touch of uniqueness. The dessert was perfectly balanced with some of the best blueberries ever. So glad we picked this restaurant for our night out in NY.“

“We’ve had Cadence on our list of places to try for a while now, and once we knew we’d be back in the city, we had to make it happen. For starters, the restaurant is intimate without being intimidating, and the staff are all beautiful people who seem joyful and genuinely happy to celebrate their food. We started with the potato salad w pickles and the fried green tomatoes. Ordering potato salad doesn’t usually scream excitement, unless you’re my wife, then it’s basically sexy talk. Cadence’s potato salad was super creamy, deliciously tangy with the pickles, and was the night’s favorite for both of us (A+).The fried green tomatoes come with a savory romesco sauce that really rounds out the dish. I wouldn’t say it was an all-timer, but we definitely enjoyed it (B).Next, we had the buffalo oyster mushroom sandwich, which looks amazing on the plate. It’s a tower of a sandwich that’s not easy to eat without getting a little messy. The buffalo sauce and avocado set it apart (B). We followed up the buffalo sandwich with the maple buttermilk cornbread. This dish, a frequent flyer on their Instagram, is everything you want in a cornbread. Crumbly, sweet, savory, and served with a generous dollop of vegan butter that makes it waaaaay too hard stop. This was a perfect dish (A+), only drawback was we were already getting too full to eat it all. Would have preferred to have it earlier in the meal.Last, we had the lemonberry cake for dessert. Delightful. Lemony, sweet, but not overly so. A beautiful dish. The candied lemon rind was definitely a favorite for me (A).“

“The menu is the most delicious and authentic of Thai menus out there. I mean the sausages are all HOMEMADE! The best food by the best chef, Chuck. He is already a famous private chef and now you will be spoiled any day of the week! Just go and see for yourself or get delivery!“

“Oh my goodness, this might be one of my favorite restaurants in the world. To be honest I was never a fan of injera or Ethiopian food but this place has made it a top 3 cuisine for me. The food is truly exceptional. You will wonder how they made the humble chickpea so creamy and flavorful. Get the shiro, seitan tibs and kitfo. Man oh man.Our server was perfect. Just attentive enough, so kind and warm. The ambience!!! I absolutely love the aesthetic. Just makes you feel like you’re having a fun night. They do bring the vibes, as they say. A colorful, vibrant, plant centric aesthetic with gorgeous wall art. The music was popping and made me want to dance. I can’t express more how extraordinary this place is. Wish they would cater for my wedding!“

“A short day and a half stay in Williamsburg/Brooklyn on the way to Berlin. Rolo’s was certainly my most anticipated spot on this tour after seeing their fantastic Eater video and it certainly didn’t disappoint.Their Double Cheeseburger with the $3 Bacon Addition was the most flavorful and wonderfully textured burger I’ve had in years. The pickled pepper made for an interesting off-beat accompaniment. The polenta bread was simple but delicious. A layer of polenta with olive oil and sea salt, could eat that all day.I also ordered a Strawberry Passionfruit Punsch, which was served in a small goblet. Nice blend of rum, strawberry cordial, passion fruit and lime tiki bitters. There are quite a few more dishes I’d like to try at Rolo’s. Unfortunately for me, Rolo’s in in a different time zone. But I’m glad I got a chance to try it.“

“My wife & I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Le Crocodile. I used google form to reserve a table and just added a note to ask them for help in surprising my wife with a nice welcome. But what they did to both of us is the experience we will remember forever. From the moment we entered they started with those little gestures like compliments from the house for our anniversary: champagne, a special course from the chef, flowers with special note.O yeah, I forgot about the food: it was so delicious, we looked through the menu by ourselves before arriving at the restaurant, also read comments here, and had an idea what to eat, but then when talking with our waiter, she suggested us few tweaks and that was so, so good recommendation. So, we started with Jonah Crab with Avocado and Yuzu Kosho, then the chef sent us Escargots with Parsley, Pernod, and Fennel, and for the main course my wife took Skate Wing with Meyer Lemon and Brown Butter Sauce and I Duck Breast with Roasted Beets and Cherries. The desert was easy to choose: Profiteroles made from heaven. There were so full of discrete attention and signs of gestures toward us, that even in a full-packed restaurant we felt like we were the only one.THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF, to our dear waitress, and the amazing chef and his team. You deserve 10 stars, not just 5.“

“I came on a Monday evening and I got a reservation the day before. There were plenty of reservations available. The servers were nice and came to refill our water often. The food was unique and I don't get a chance to eat elevated Mexican food that often. I ordered: * Swordfish Tacos - 9/10 - The charred flavor on the swordfish was really good, and the spicy sauces added heat and a slight tanginess. The taco didn't have many toppings but the simplicity of the dish is what made the individual flavors shine. * Lamb Barbacoa Tacos - 7.5/10 - These had good flavor, but I felt like they were missing something. The meat was a bit dry, and all the ingredients were soft. I think adding another texture would elevate it. * Soya Marinated Tuna Tostada - 8/10 - The chili oil paired nicely with the soy marinade on the tuna. I liked that they put fat slices of tuna. The tostada was perfectly crunchy. * Oxomoco Guacamole - 7.5/10 - The chips on the side are the same tostada that comes with the tuna. The guacamole itself is delicious but it's hard to justify almost $20 for guacamole, no matter how good it is. * Recuerdame - 8/10 - A fun drink to order with tacos. I liked the aesthetics and that it was a blended ice drink. The alcohol flavor wasn't too strong and it was sweet. Overall, all the food I had was really delicious and for a Michelin-starred restaurant the vibe was pretty casual and chill. However, it is quite pricey for the amount of food you get, so I would save it for a celebration or special occasion.“

“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

We came here for brunch and got the Bread Basket for the table which was fire with the different spreads/honey butter. For y main, I tried the Eggs Cilbir which was surprisingly very filling. “This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “My partner and I happened to be in the area and went from searching and finding delicious birria tacos to looking for vegan ice cream. For those wondering, meat-eating isn’t as much as an issue as consuming dairy is for me…so to my surprise, to find an all vegan ice cream shop THAT MAKES THEIR OWN ICE CREAM and has two very sweet Black Brits running it was three treats in one. The store runners allowed us to try a few samples—blueberry crumble, strawberry shortbread and ginger cookie. The ginger cookie was amazing; the ginger was fresh and surprisingly blended well with the ice cream. At this moment I just knew it was handmade. As good as it was, it’s an acquired taste since the ginger is so fresh and something I’d prefer if I was sick or had a sore throat. I couldn’t walk away from the strawberry shortbread and got a scoop to go. My partner got the blueberry crumble and LOVED it, which is a high compliment coming from someone who said before going in that she doesn’t usually like vegan ice cream. She also walked away with a jar of sea moss (that’s some of the best sea moss we’ve ever had). May this business be everlasting and abundant in success. Wonderful service and offerings all around. We will be back!“
