“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it“

“So here's the deal. Valerie is like a lot of places that have popped up in the city. Upscale vibe, geared towards 25-40 crowd, old school cocktails with a twist etc. Bar scene is busy. Our waiter was very nice. Food was good but for us at these prices should knock your socks off. Oysters very fresh, crab cake was just okay, they forgot our pork bao buns, it happens, and burger and side of corn were good. Portion sizes were also pretty decent. But again, at these prices in NYC we think it should be a home run. It was more like a double.“

It was kinda rainy, so a pretty chill vibe inside. Not too busy at all. We were seated at a table in the back. I saw a sign when I walked in mentioning the Best Gin Martini in New York 2023, so I ordered that. (I think it's the Brooklyn Bootlegger listed above.) I'm normally not a huge gin fan, but this was fine. Didn't have that herbaceousness I associate with gin. Plus, I used to drink vodka martinis all the time when I was younger, so this kinda took me back. Tho I was more of an olive girl than a twist girl. The decor was very eclectic. Flowers in the front, library in the back, and plates as wall hangings in between. A little all over the place, but we had the back area to ourselves, so had a good time just talking and catching up. Good spot to grab a gin martini.“

“WE LOVED our Tuesday night at Bathtub Gin!! Our night began around 7pm and we left after midnight, having enjoyed the experience, beyond. The show is dynamite, the cocktails terrific (even for a non Gin drinker), the service is attentive and the environment is a blast.“

“This place rocked. We wanted something close to the High Line and this place popped up. We made a reservation via Open Table. After getting delayed on the subway, we were a little late. The hostess was understandable and we were seated at a table right away. It was busy and lively. We ate the sourdough bread, citrus salad and deviled eggs. It was all good. “Ocean Prime is a must if down in NYC. We had came for my wife’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Our serve Ripon was amazing and made great suggestions for drinks, entrees, and desert. He made sure my wife’s birthday was perfect. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too.“

“For a breakfast lover, this place checks all the highlights. In fact I ate here twice on two consecutive mornings. On the first morning, I ordered an omelette with ham and Gruyere cheese. The omelette was ready for its photo-op. Look at how it came out fluffy and perfectly without any brown color, a prime French style omelette. But the star was the lemon ricotta pancake. This picture was a quarter of an order as we shared an order for the table. Delightful pillows of not too sweet goodness, these pancakes have ruined me for all future pancakes. They were so good that I came back and shared an order with a side of bacon. Plus a satisfyingly large quantity of coffee for me (and a cappuccino for my date). Lunch and dinner? They may be great or not...I've never been. All I know is that I will be back for these pancakes again in the future“

“System is what makes this place works. Everyone knows what to do and very reactive to diners’ need. The celtuse drink, soba noodles are excellent. Even the vegan latte with oatmilk made an impression. I’m only giving 4 on the food because it’s a vegan, my palette has a wider range and veggies can only go to some extent. It was a great experience.“

“Very cute bar downstairs. As people said, it is loud so sometimes we did have to almost scream at each other. I tried the rosebud and the peach highballs. Good cocktails and good if you want to just enjoy live music. They played renditions of like popular top 40 songs so it wasn’t as soothing or as sophisticated…but I enjoyed the atmosphere overall and it’s meant to be a fun place.“

“I have to admit that the name put me off this restaurant. It's my past experience of places describing themselves as quality and very much failing to meet such standards. But it was close to our hotel and I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say this is a quality restaurant :)Went for pasta which is proper homemade pasta with amazing sauces (tried my wife's too). I also enjoyed the ceasar salad which had some lovely preserved lemons. Wine was good and the tiramisu was huge and nice (I prefer them more boozy but still was lovely). Service was great so overall a brilliant place to go.“

“Amazing meal with fantastic service. Easy walking distance from the Gershwin theatre. The pricing was fair and the food was delicious. Cute decor and very clean and comfortable bathrooms. We tried two kinds of tacos and the spring rolls and all were delicious. My 11 year old daughter ate off the kids meal and was pleased. She was also offered a Shirley Temple which made it fun for her. Great place, highly recommend!“
