“Had trouble ordering online due to an issue with my credit card. Called and got Kathy who I think is the manager on the phone. She was so friendly and quickly took my large work order which was ready exactly when promised. Amazing customer service and amazing pretzels! They were a big hit at work! I’ll definitely be back soon.“

“Did takeout on Saturday. The food was ready on time. The mixed berry scone was a bit too sweet in my opinion, as the additional sugar crystals on top are too much. I prefer a more traditional old fashion scone which isn't as sweetened (personal preference). The grilled chicken sandwich was filling and well presented. Flavorful according to my friend who ordered. The country breakfast was big and extremely filling. The biscuit came separate when doing takeout, with its jam and butter. I ordered the eggs scrambled and they were very good and not too salty, which provided a good balance with the slice of ham, which is. The texture of the eggs were nice. Felt like a true southern brunch.Overall very satisfied and the staff was friendly during pickup. I definitely want to go back and try the chocolate scone and some of their pastry items.“

“I visited on a Sunday morning before 9am. There were people lining up to the entrance, but I was able to order in about 10 minutes. I ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese ($5.99), but most of the people ordered the cream cheese in a cup and added it themselves. Highly recommended for the taste, price, and atmosphere.“

“I was in a pinch and didn’t think I’d be able to order a cake last minute but Venerio’s came through and even provided delivery. I’ve ordered from there several times and have never been disappointed. The cakes are fresh and delicious. The cannolis are outstanding. The service is just a good.“

“I normally recommend this bakery to everyone. However, yesterday morning I went to your Brooklyn location to bring home bombalones for family. This morning the strawberry on top on one is literally covered in mold. This is absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately I'm already back out of state so I can't even come back to get an exchange. I spent around $75 yesterday.... and I get MOLDY food.“

“Ama is AMAZING. I've had so many coffees around New York and this is hands down the best. Ama always has a smile on her face and is the kindest(and most talented) barista I've ever met. 10/10 if you need an amazing coffee and a smile this is the place.“

“I'll give 4 stars, just because there's no control over who's taking the tables outside. I noticed some people just on their laptops without ordering anything and was annoying wait to sit with our food ready. Now, onto the good stuff: we indulged in a variety of coffees, pastries, and, oh my, the sandwiches were wonderful! This is definitely a go-to place, deserving of its positive reviews. The service was excellent, and they were impressively fast. A great spot for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee break.“

“small coffee shop with really great coffee, however there really isn't much space to sit. it's connected to a small lobby of some sort next door with a few benches. But if you were looking for takeout coffee then I definitely recommend the place. I got an iced oat latte and it was super smooth and creamy. The matcha taro latte was also really good, also very pretty. I also tried out their pastel de nata which was pretty ok, I think there are better ones but it hits the spot“

“I bought a sandwich and some canele in ubereats. They gave me a written note for the missing canele(since they ran out of it), tell me to refund, and even added other pastries in bag for compensation…never seen a better service in my whole life, most importantly everything tasted AMAZING!!They had just earn themselves a new costumer, this made my day, thank you so much.“

“My daughter, my child always finds the best places to take her mama to. And babeee these donuts along with the customer service were definitely a win for me. I am vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian ;) and I chose from the vegan section and when I tell you the pumpkin glaze donut and the vegan plain donut warmed up for less than 50 seconds in a microwave were the best thing my hour glass figure didn’t need, I am not lying. These donuts were simply delicious, so delicious imma get the heck outta the city and not come back to it for atleast 2 years. lol. There isn’t anyway I can always have these donuts at my finger tips. But hands down this is a must try and definitely recommended establishment one has to visit any time in the New York area! Now, off to the gym, omg!“

“Me and my family head to Chinatown in NYC as often as we can. And we visit every Chinatown in all the cities we go to that has a Chinatown (or little Italy, etc)in it. It’s a thing we as a family do.This little hidden gem in Chinatown in NYC is nice. It looks like a sterile cafeteria inside. It is off of Main Street and the sign that says “Best Sponge cake in NYC”. If it wasn’t for the sign you would sure miss this place. The sponge cakes sell for $1.25. Their menus change daily and if your lucky you might get to purchase the cinnamon and the chocolate cookies. They have a surprisingly pop of flavor.“

“Sandwiches are expensive here!! Around $17 so be prepared. The bread is phenomenal though. The triple chocolate croissant is delicious - very flaky and not too dry. Would recommend. The pistachio croissant was a tad too dry and wasn’t standout.“

“Best cookies I've ever had! Since they are so busy there's a good chance you'd get freshly baked, still slightly warm (the best?), crispy on the outside and melted chocolate pooling in the centre type of cookies. Definitely living up to their fame.Highly recommend chocolate walnut cookies:)“

“Hard to say if I love their almond croissant (awarded as the best almond croissant in NYC) more or the one I had in BUKA in Copenhagen 2 years ago…both sensational in their own way! Also enjoyed the coconut chocolate chip cake (moist and light!) and chocolate rugelach!Just don’t order an English breakfast tea…you’ll probably get an earl grey.“

“Russ & Daughters is a busy and popular Jewish deli style location that has many fishes, bagels, and other deli goodies to take home. They have a famous "black and white" cookie that you can take with you. If you're coming in for just a baked good and not the fish options, you can normally talk to the guys behind the counter directly instead of taking a ticket and waiting in the usually long lines. They also have a cafe a couple blocks away in case you want to try their fares in a sit-down restaurant.“

“Lovely, compact Scandi bakery with a small market in the back with selection of Haribo licorice and more.We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich, cardamom bun, and salmon focaccia. When I come back, I’m definitely going to order the breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli/sauce as the bottom layer! This was the most memorable of the items. Salmon was generously applied to the focaccia along with thick chive cream cheese, but the flavor combination wasn’t quite as unique in the lox bagel capital of the world. The cardamom bun could benefit from, well, more cardamom. And I fully admit that I’m not being quite fair on this front after having tasted the cardamom buns at Juno Bakery in Copenhagen, which are laced with so much freshly ground cardamom throughout that the scent fills the surrounding neighborhood. If you’ve tasted these buns, Smor’s will underwhelm you, but they are definitely one of the best in NYC.“

“Not only was the food good, but the woman behind the counter was so kind explaining the differences between different pastries to us. Despite NYC having nearly limitless options for breakfast pastries, we will make it a point to return to Unregular on our next visit“

“OMG...this IS the best sponge cake you'll have in NYC. I've had my fair share looking for one that compares to the original Kam Hing. The owner apprenticed with the original Kam Hing owner and finally opened his own cafe! Can't go wrong with the original flavor but the pandan coconut is sooooo goood! it's my new fav! This is my new go to place for sponge cakes!“

“Good not great. We came without a reservation and were kindly seated at the bar. Our server was quick, kind and paced our food order perfectly. We had the Ricotta – made the traditional way but I personally didn’t find it very tasty and the olive oil wasn’t great quality. We then had the spaghetti which was my favorite and finally the chicken which was good but not to die for.Great little spot for a nice dinner but nothing to go crazy about.“

“I want to hate Levain because it's sooooo trendy, but it's really the undisputed cookie king in a city that's now overun by imitators. I lived next door to the original basement bakery on West 74th Street for 10 years, long before the line of tourists was down the block and around the corner because it was the only location. Used to sneak in when they opened to grab a Bomboloncini and a chocolate walnut cookie after being lured there by the intoxicating smell they deliberately pump onto the street. I stopped going because as a local I couldn't justify waiting an hour on line for a cookie. But now that they have 3 or 4 locations and a semi-sweet chocolate chip addition to the roster, I go far too often for a $4 pile of fat and sugar. Still miss the atmosphere of the tiny basement, but it's the best cookie... period!“

“Before you go here you should know you can only buy 3 bagels w/ a side (butter, cream cheese, etc) for $12( you cant buy a singular bagel! There’s no bacon, egg bagels or anything like that! The only thing I didn’t like is that you had to cut the bagel open yourself with a wooden knife & put your cream cheese inside & the whole point of buying a bagel sandwich is that you don’t have to make it yourself ( if your on the go or anything) and here you have to, which I’m pretty sure that’s the whole point of the shop. But I might as well buy a 12 pack of bagels & butter at the store for less than $12 and do it at home because it’s the same thing.Anyways I stumbled upon this place & would definitely visit again because the bagels were delicious & crunchy! There was a line but it went super fast because all they do it throw the bagels in the bag & give you your side.“

“4.4 stars. Reasonably priced boxed take to take home stuffed buns. The bun is very light and fluffy. The red roast pork filling was a good amount and the taste was pretty good. We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. I tried the salted egg custard bun for the first time and it was pretty good. Comparable to Go Believe Bakery on Grand, which always has a consistent amount of meat but less airy bun.“

“A well desserved reputation of world's most famous cookies. We had the double chocolate chips, the walzenut & chocolate chips and the caramel coconut & chocolate chips. All the cookies were delicious with massive chocolate chips, crispy edge and very tender heart ! Be aware that the caramel coconut one contains grated coconut (which may not fit the tastes of everyone) but the caramel coconut heart is absolutely yummy.“

“A hidden gem in Tribeca and hands down one of the top bakeries in NYC!We tried sicilian pistachio ($7.5) and Kouign-Amann (caramelized croissant, $5.5). Pistachio croissant was the best one I have ever had in the city. It was so buttery and flaky. It is true that they are slightly more expensive than other bakeries, but I highly recommend trying their pistachio croissant. you won't regret“

“My friend and I walked in to Two Ladies right before they were closing for the day. (Hit traffic on the way there after work) The bakery is clean and modern. The woman that was working there was very friendly. Based on our late arrival, they were out of trubicky but we purchased a wide range of other delicious items. The chocolate covered cream puff can't be beat, it's one of the best cream fillings we've had in a dessert. The mosaic and brownie sandwich were also excellent. Baklava and another small chocolate filled item was also quite good. I'm looking to return for the trubicky.“
