“Hasbrouck Heights pizza is the best around! We like their thin crust as well as the grandma's. Their pastas are also an incredible portion and great value for money. The staff is friendly and they always have fresh pies ready to grab a slice from or plenty of space in the dining room to order in.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This is not a negative about the pizza whatsoever, it’s just that the hours listed online are not reflective of the hours of the restaurant. It says it’s open till 10:00 PM but I arrived at a little before 930 and restaurant is completely dark. Please update! Thanks.Edit: thanks for letting us know about why it was closed. You’re back to 5 stars :)“

“All the walk ins were already booked when we showed up right at open (5pm on Sat), but they put us on the waitlist. Luckily, around 8pm we got a text saying to come in at 8:45. A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area. The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious. The ambiance was amazing. You get to see the chefs and the process of pizza making if you get seated close enough. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.“

“This pizzeria is one of the hottest in New York, and their pizza is well worth the wait. They offer a variety of pizzas, from traditional to innovative flavors that are impressively delicious and generously portioned. Additionally, the decor retains a wonderful sense of history, complete with interesting notes on the walls. Due to its popularity, expect to wait over half an hour during peak lunch and dinner times, and even at 3 PM, it's likely to be packed. If you'd prefer not to wait, consider ordering a pickup. Highly recommended for pizza enthusiasts.“

“One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. They are known for their Detroit style square pies. Excellent soft dough with delicious sauce & cheese. The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“

“A really nice causal spot. Its side outdoor seating is on a traffic blocked street so no cars. I’ve been here a few times and the service is always very attentive and speedy. The Brussels sprouts are especially good. I also enough most of their pastas. Ive had the tiramisu and it’s ok. Overall it’s a really solid chill spot. Would definitely recommend especially for warmer days.“

“Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. Solid option!“

“Note: Review based on Pizza making class/experience.The atmosphere is so intimate and cozy. All pizzas are made in a wood fire oven. Chef Salvatore is passionate about his pizzas and loves to help the people in the class. We had a great experience. The ingredients were great and easy to handle. Don’t need any level of cooking experience to do the class. You get appetizers (salad + meatballs), followed by pizza and marshmallow Nutella dessert pizza. You mainly just roll out your dough and put toppings on. More of a date activity than a cooking class, loved it and will be back to try pizzas made by the chef.“

“The Best Pizza in NYC! - If you want the best pizza in NYC you have to go to Pop's Pizza. I'm a native New Yorker of 50 years and Pop's Pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC. They make a perfect slice... thin crispy crust with fresh sauce, toppings and ingredients. If you like garlic, you have to try the Margarita but no matter what you order every slice is amazing and the owners are fantastic. ?“

“One of the best Detroit styled pizza places I've been to in New York! The pizzas are so doughy and cheesy, with a really delicious caramelized crust. The star of the meal for me was the white sesame pizza. So creamy, so cheesy, the perfect balance between savory and sweet.“

“Torn between 3 and 4 stars. Was one of the better pizzas during our visit. For outside of NYC it would be 8 stars out of 10 but for NYC it’s probably closer to 5 out of 10. Passes the flip test. Like the sauce flavor. Good balance of cheeses goodness. The crust was just meh. I usually eat the crust and this one I had to pass on hence the rating. Went twice so good enough to return. Did like the clean area inside and lots of tables for seating.“

“Since our arrival the staff has been super friendly, and for those whose English is a problem, it is solved because everyone speaks Spanish. And the food is spectacular! The spaghetti with meatballs are tremendous, and the pizza is delicious and made with fresh products. The portions are very large and you will have leftover food, but they provide you with tupperware to take away. Highly recommended!“

“After a quest to find the quintessential pizza experience in town, I stumbled upon Pizza Knight, and let me tell you, it was a culinary adventure worth every savory bite. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The staff at Pizza Knight exude friendliness and genuine care for their patrons, making me feel not just like a customer, but like a welcomed guest. Now, let’s talk about the main event – the pizza. I indulged in both the Detroit Vodka Cecilian and the Vodka Pie, and each slice was a revelation of flavor. The Detroit Vodka Cecilian boasted a perfect blend of tangy tomato sauce, creamy vodka sauce, and crispy crust, while the Vodka Pie elevated the classic pizza with its unique vodka-infused twist, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight.Beyond the mouthwatering pizzas, Pizza Knight’s attention to detail and commitment to quality shine through in every aspect of their offerings. From the fresh ingredients to the expertly crafted crusts, it’s evident that they take pride in their craft. In conclusion, Pizza Knight isn’t just a place to grab a slice – it’s a destination for pizza aficionados seeking an unforgettable dining experience. With impeccable hospitality and pizzas that redefine perfection, Pizza Knight has undoubtedly earned its place as a must-visit establishment in town.“

“I gotta say this as a Southerner who was in town to see Long Island’s own Billy Joel at MSG. I made a total bonehead mistake and typed in the wrong amount online for payment (roughly 10x the amount with tip) and these guys were quick to recognize and contact me, assuring me that they had averted the crisis and would have my slices ready for the correct payment when I got there (which was ~ 5 til close). Not only was their service and conscientiousness appreciated, but the slices were just what this bonehead Southerner’ tastebuds were looking for.“
