“I loved my experience at Genki Omakase! I went for my friends birthday and they let us make a reservation for 11 people which was extremely accommodating for such a large group at an Omakase experience. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. They end off the 13 piece course with a sweet/savory banana fish course that was my favorite. I also loved the Uni piece. They let you bring your own wine for no corking fee and will distribute it between your group and refill it for you. The service was great. I also loved that there was a towelette left on your plate that you can use to freshen up with before you begin. Great deal for the price.“

“This omakase spot does a well thought out 14 course that includes everything - from apps to nigiri to desserts at an affordable price. What I really enjoyed about Sushi Yolo compared to other omakase spots in this price range is how it’s nicely paced with your entire meal spanning 1.5 hours (other spots are usually churning out guests within 1 hour).As I said before, all the dishes were so well thought out and the pieces that were presented were so beautiful. My absolute favorite was their steamed egg topped with ikura and uni - it was so warm, smooth, and custard-y with the ikura and uni providing the perfect umami balance.As expected, service was amazing and Alex, the host, was so thoughtful to offer me tea throughout my meal as I was the only one in my party who was not partaking in sake.Highly recommend for a date night or a fun outing with a group of friends.“

“Fabulous date night at Nami Nori. We both order the signature set which was phenomenal. Every piece was creative, so fresh and better than the last. We shared the tempura misto, wasabi cucumber tataki and the spicy tuna dip. The wasabi cucumber was a great choice and the green that we needed for the meal. Could have passed on the tempura. I loved the spicy tuna dip but my boyfriend said he rather grab more handrolls next time. We also got the mochurros and tbh, it's a pass for us. The WBurg location has a liquor license and the fun cocktails are not to be missed! Im not a fan of lychee martinis and my boyfriend ordered one off the menu and it was probably the best ones I've had. Attentive staff and such a beautiful venue. It's always so hard to get reservations but we saw plenty of open seats on a Saturday around 730/peak dinner, so definitely try walking in.“

“Made a reservation for a Friday night and had an incredible meal here. Honestly, I don't want to tell people about this... that's how good it is. My boyfriend and I both did the premium omakase, which was $68pp (hospitality included). Right off the bat, you cannot beat that price for omakase downtown. What's even better is how good it was. Highlights were the marinated tuna, medium fatty tuna, squid, arctic char, yellowtail and eel. The quality was really there, and it's definitely one of the best affordable omakase I've tried. They opened on time and there were no issues getting seated, with no reservation, but we were seated in the backyard heated room. Our waiter and the staff there were polite and friendly. Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. Only complaint was I wish portion size was bigger. Haha. Beef tongue slices (5pcs) $14 - marinated grilled tender slices Yuzu Miso Salmon $15 - Includes fresh salmon sashimi topped with yuzu miso and sesame ponzu sauce, green onion and onion slices Hakata Motsu Nabe $27/person - Includes beef intestines, cabbage, leek, tofu, burdock, and sesame, chili sauce on the side. “Great place to stop by for a simple omakase lunch. Theres a small seating counter in the back for about 10-12 people. We had 10 pieces of fish with 2 rolls. The fish of the day was mackeral and fluke. Some of my favorites were the torched sable fish and scallop. Service was great and the staff were friendly.“

“i absolutely love this place. first time i came for dinner at around 7 and we got chef’s skewers, gyu don, and kimchi cream udon. my boyfriend and i loved our entrees but didnt really like the skewers that much. i think they were a little on the pricey side for 4 skewers and 1 being grilled peppers. we also had to wait a little bit around 10-20 mins? the second time, we came for lunch at around 12 and did not have to wait. we got gyudon and the nikomi hamburg tei. they were both good and came with a side of tofu and miso soup. the hamburger tei was a lOt though and i struggled to finish it :(( for lunch price tho it was worth it. will definitely be coming back !!“

“I went to Kinzan omakase last night and it was so good! Each piece was very creative, like yellowtail pesto, which I had never had before but worked so well. My favorites were the Hokkaido uni, scallop, and toro with caviar! The fish were all very fresh. The server gave me free sake which I appreciated very much. The chefs were very kind and personable. This is my new favorite omakase spot in the city, I will be back!“

“BBF was recommended by my Japanese colleague and they said it’s really authentic with outstanding flavor. We were craving for Japanese Bento so we decided to give it a try.There were also pastries available but we are not into Japanese pastries. We had their Katsu Sando and Burger Steak to share. The Katsu was fried perfectly but the toast was a little dry. I preferred the juicy and flavorful burger steak.“

Their business is very good, We saw a lot of peoples eating sushi here when we be there. the owner of a warm reception for us, we came for the first time, gave us a lot of good recommendations, food is very fresh. The fish was very fresh and they don't skimp either. I had the eel cucumber roll with it and it was delicious as well. Their sauce is on the sweeter side but I like it. Two Roll Lunch: My friend chose a salmon avocado roll and shrimp tempura roll. Huge pieces of fish! MAKE A RESERVATION! They get super busy (as they deserve to be!) and walk-ins may take some time to be seated as it is a pretty small space. I had a reservation for 1:30, showed up on time, was seated within 2mins :) I also liked watching the chefs prepare everyone's dishes! “Good deal for the price ($69) but if you’re looking for the best affordable omakase it’s Tsumo Omakase ($58). It may be the same owners but it’s a nicer space (although not as intimate), and has an individual uni course. Exact same 13 course sushi except Tsumo has an uni gunkan and Shinn has a salmon-foie gras-truffle nigiri.“

“Great food, the fish was very fresh and all the ingredients were incredible. Also the one piece of meat that was part of the menu was very nice. You get 13 pieces in the menu but they offer to change one thing if you do not like it. The menu costs around 75 $ which is a great price. The chefs explained the dishes nicely and were overall very attentive. We also chatted with people sitting around us, it was a very nice atmosphere. You have to make reservations in time since there are only around 10 seats.“

“Chef was amazing and but the experience was tainted by them having us wait to be seated essentially outside (not sure why others at same counter were seated before us or why there is no designated space - and we were right on time not super early?) and by them pushing us at tad excessively at end and more importantly asking another patron to relinquish the pen they used to sign the bill. Seriously? A 500$ baseline price for food alone and you can’t let the guy just take the pen?“
