“Their food is good, but the soda always has a salty taste to it. I dont live in the town, so i dont know if its the water supply. I understand some towns get salt in the supply.during the winter due to runoff from the roads, but this is all year round.“

“Stopped in this morning at Pop's Place on Route 48 E. In Rockaway Township after hearing quite a few rave reviews. Cozy, old school style looking little roadside, classic style NJ eatery serving up a selection of Sabrett specialty hot dogs , sandwiches , burgers , grilled chicken boxes, spuds and rings, in addition to a mouth watering selection of your traditional New Jersey breakfast choices. Super fast and friendly service and immaculately clean, it was a family friendly joint to just sit, relax, and stuff your face with a variety of your favorite menu items, be it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I went with Pop's Breakfast Bomb. Taylor Ham (6 slices, beautifully charred), Sausage Patty, 2 Eggs, several slices of American Cheese, on a toasted Brioche Bun. WOW! This sandwich was as good as it sounds. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, and ample enough for two people. TeamTaylorNJ, if you haven't stopped by as of yet. Give it a try. “Hands down best omelettes in Sussex County. I'm a picky breakfast gal so for breakfast I almost exclusively have western omelettes and as such consider myself an expert - so go there and get one, you won't regret it. Their homefries are yummy too! I've heard great things about the pancakes and French toast so I'll definitely have to give that a try soon!“

I love this place and come here all the time for good burger fries hotdogs and and chicken tenders and of course the Dover Dairy maid is right never door the ice cream is fantastic the service is great. The ambiance is definitely good old fashioned American food is family friendly you can eat out side they just opened today for the start of the season. So excited to go back again.“

“Went for lunch today and everything was so delicious! Ordered a Brooklyn panini and Polo’s punch. Shared an order of pesto garlic park boneless wings which are a must have everytime we come. Service at the bar was amazing even for it being 12“

“I like five guys but they are pricey. 2 people 40.00 easy.I think if they rethought their pricingOr make specials they wouldGet a bigger crowd.The taste of the food is good. But like their hot dog with cheese and bacon 8.00 really?? For a slice of American cheese and literally 1 slice of bacon??? That was a mistake ? getting budget wise.Taste it was good but a better quality hot dog better quality cheese and maybe like 2 slices of bacon crumbled...for that price it should have a gourmet approach.The fries are delicious the burgers too but again it's the cost that always makes 5 guys our every 3 month or more treat.I definitely wouldn't get the grilled cheese.What do you think??Either way enjoy when you do have the $$ to splurge.“

“We wanted a cake with our cats photo on it. After about an hour waiting, it was determined it wasn't going to be possible. Chris, the young man helping us, kept checking with us during our wait. He showed us a gel icing likeness of our cat he did. After about an hour, we decided to go with the icing likeness, rather than the photo. It came out fantastic! Chris refused to charge us and just kept apologizing. We told We understood and didn't feel he needed to apologize. No matter how much we insisted, he would not take our money. That right there, is excellent customer service. We have always gone to DQ in Newton to get our ice cream cakes. After today, trust me, we will ALWAYS go to DQ in Newton! Thanks Chris! Fuzzy loved his cake!“

“I have never seen a restaurant so clean. Kudos to them. The sandwiches were so amazing that we forgot to take pictures. Fries which Cajun spices was great as well, but it could be even better if they had fried them a little longer.Parking: The place is just across AMC. There are a lot of parking spots available.“

“While I do like this location and staff, the food quality for mcdonald's in general has to improve. Fries were fresh and probably the best part of my meal. Chicken nuggets tasted like breaded chewing gum. I had a quarter pounder and it was so flavorless that it tasted like cardboard not even extra ketchup helped the patty which by the way looked like a cheeseburger patty. Nothing quarter pound about it. Will be back for the fries though.“

“I’ve been eating at Rockaway River Barn for quite some time even meeting with retired work friends. Food has always been consistently good. This last time my granddaughter thought the pizza tasted sour. We all took a bite and agreed. The owner said he would replace it or take off the bill!! Thank you My complaint wasn’t about the food but the fact that the owner charged us $10.50 to cut and serve the birthday cake I made and brought with all the necessary items to cut our own n serve candles n all. Even though we insisted we wanted to cut our own he whisked the cake away saying no he would cut and serve. Never mentioned it would cost us $10.50 to cut our own cake. Not a good practice for an owner. From now on we’ll have cake at home!!! And most likely go to another place. My final word DON’T BRING YOUR OWN CAKE TO THIS RESTAURANT!!“
