“Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! Staff was friendly . And it’s a byob which makes it great as I’m on a budget with travel . Thank you guys !!!“

“Attention African Americans. Momma's Place Soul Food Retaurant of Linden, N.J. is the place to go if you want real SOUL FOOD. This is your southern grandma's soul food. Everything there is delicious. The fried whiting was flaky and luscious, the fried chicken was succulent and juicy, the smothered pork chops were flavorful and tender, the apple pie was (made from scratch) exquisite and the pound cake was truly delectable. And... that corn bread was.... oh so good! The food is first quality and it was freshly prepared. The portions were big and the prices are really good! Everything was seasoned the way we southerners are used to it. The restaurant was clean, (the bathroom was 'bleach' clean), and on top of all this positivity, the service was friendly and attentive. You can't ask for anything more... except for 2 forks... so you can eat faster (laughing).If you want authentic soul food, and you're not going to make it yourself, head over to Momma's Soul Food in Linden, N.J., you will be so happy you did.“

“When I lived in Elizabeth I would always go to Valenca that my go to for Portugese food. I know some ppl liked the other place starting with a "A" if you know you know. Okay so I had placed a order with Stephanie's and the doordasher canceled so I received a refund. I still wanted to eat some good a Portugese food so I decided to try Nuno's. I am so glad I did those Ribs were from heaven. And that tossed salad with walnuts and I believe raisins were delicious. The garlic sauce and even the dressing was ?????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I'm going back today for more ribs and salad. HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“I've been ordering from Chop Spot for years, and it was always good. We usually get dinner, order catering for parties, etc. Tonight's dinner was extra amazing! Not sure if they switched up the rice recipe or not, but it had fresh grated carrot in it, and onions, and it was so moist and flavorful! I didn't think it could get any better, but I was once again blown away! I'd highly recommend Chop Spot to anyone. The service and food is just amazing.“

“The best decision I made was to order the half chicken instead of the quarter. Cooked fresh to order, bursting with flavor and a healthy meal what more could you want. Know before you go - the restaurant doesn’t look like much and because the food is cooked to order call ahead or be prepared to wait 20 minutes.Absolutely recommend for something different, delicious and affordable. Will be back soon!“

“Came back again today. We opted for a more seafood based meal. But we still ordered the standard pork belly and fatty beef. This time around we ordered the Alaskan shrimp (with shrimp roe), snow crab legs, stone crabs... and the famous Spanish red prawns! They definitely didn't disappoint!“

“So happy they finally opened a cast iron in Staten Island. Something that the island really needs. The food is great. The menu had some extra items like calamari and popcorn chicken that the others don't have. It's still fairly new but I'm excited for the community to embrace Korean bbq. The servers are very attentive and also help you cook your food. They are always asking if you want to order more. Very friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is chill. Great spot for family and friends to meet up and have a good time.“
