“Just had a slice of Grandma's pie from Naples in Tuckerton. I'm 75 years old and have eaten a lot of pizza over the years including during the two years I was stationed in Naples, Italy. Their pie is absolutely the best pizza I have ever had both here in the States and in Italy.That's sayin' something.“

“So, my girlfriend has been telling me that pizza is different in NJ. I generally enjoy Deep Dish or Chicago style pizza too, which she would tell me does not count as pizza. Well, when we were in NJ, she told me that we had to stop here. I was ready to have a good pizza, but I wasn't ready to be wowed. Well, I was wowed. That pizza did hit differently here. Those tomatoes and that garlic were freaking amazing. Holy cow it was good. So, after the pizza, I ate a ton of humble pie. Eating humble pie while dating a gal from NJ means that I will probably never live it down.“

“We have been getting pizza from Portofino for 23 years. It is by far a delicious pizza. Ownership was changed a few years ago and the quality is unchanged. I see a lot of negative reviews and cannot understand why. Top of the line as far as I'm concerned.“

“Once again Isola did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional! If you have not tried the stuffed olives for an appetizer, they are a MUST! We also shared the fig pizza which was done to perfection! For dinner, my one cousin and I had the Spaghettini a la Arrabbiata ( a new item on the men) and was DELICIOUS! The rest of my family had the Branzino and short ribs which were out of this world! From entering the restaurant, my family and I were greeted enthusiastically ( and with a big smile!) by Bella at the front desk, we were seated promptly and our server Maureen, continued that warm and enthusiastic hospitality once we were seated and that same level of hospitality continued throughout our time dining. This is by far my favorite restaurant on the island! Thank you so much for another fabulous dining experience with exceptional food and service!! We will be back soon!“
