“I had been hearing great things about this place since last summer but just finally had a chance to try it. They have a lot of flavors to chose from in hard and soft ice creams. They also offer lots of extras like toppings and even a waffle Sundae which I saw a customer order and was thinking I will have to try that next time. The prices are very reasonable. On occasion, they have live music, a very talented man who takes requests and even plays Taylor swift. The service is decent, but it can get a bit slow when the place is really packed. “Place is great! Owner is super nice and the employees are very nice as well. The first night we stayed in town the line was halfway down the block. So we waited until the next night to try. I got the peanut butter wipeout. I was very skeptical with cereal in ice cream. But it was awesome! Every bite had little pieces in and was great tasting! I will definitely be back next year! I would highly suggest changing the payment system so the staff can be compensated from all customers willing, regardless of their form of payment. As a customer who also works in a tip-wage position, make it easier for your workers to make money for their fantastic service and hard work. “Delicious and refreshing gelato. We had the s'mores, lemon, mango, and coconut. We each got 3 scoops. All the flavors were amazing. Kinda pricey, but worth it. Definitely will get more and try some of their other flavors on our next visit to Ocean City.“

“I wish you had more than 5 stars. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. I called ahead and got an emphatic “yes” when I asked if they could accommodate my 6 year old granddaughter who has celiac disease. When we got there and to the counter the owners and counter help could not have been nicer, or more knowledgeable. They gave us our options, of which there were plenty. Showed us the ingredient label. Went in the back for a fresh tub and a clean scoop. We were a party of 8 , and besides celiacs we had one diabetic and one who gets anxiety when having to make a choice between so many flavors. They handled it all. And the ice cream was delicious.“

“We have always been a fan of Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor for whir amazing ice cream sundaes and variety of flavors! Yesterday, however, they went above and beyond! My kids have peanut allergies, which is very hard to navigate when it comes to desserts. When we informed the staff member waiting on us, she made to sure to keep my children safe. They ordered rainbow sherbet, which does not contain peanuts, and she went into storage, pulled out an unused container and fresh ice cream scoop to fully ensure there would be no cross contamination! Navigating food allergies is so hard for parents, but when food service staff go that extra mile, it makes our day just little easier and that much brighter! Thanks for making this mama feel at ease while her kids enjoyed dessert!!!“

“I need to share what an amazing experience I had with Bake Happy. I needed a cannoli cake last minute for a birthday for a coworker and the team at Bake Happy went above and beyond to help me. They were able to take my order with short notice, called me with questions to customize to my liking, and even agreed to meet me at the bakery just before they opened to allow me to pick it up early on the day that I needed it. The cake was beautifully decorated and everyone at work couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. I also want to add that the bakery itself was incredibly cute and when I walked in smelled extremely clean as if they had just taken the extra time to clean the premises. I plan to use them for all of my bakery needs from now on!“

“I've been going to Buddy's all summer, what a fantastic shop!The place is clean, everything is fresh and delicious, the menu is creative, and all your traditional (and some newer) toppings are available.My favorite has been the island acai bowl, it's a little on the sweet side, but of course that's to be expected. For customer service, it all starts with the owners. Each are at the counter helping customers and/or staff producing a seamless experience for the customer. “Wanted something a little different for lunch today and decided to try this place after years of seeing passing it on the way to town we tried it out. We went for lunch it was take out only I'm assuming that's a lunch thing as they have seats and different hours for lunch and dinner. We got 3 different lunch specials and the food was excellent it came with your choice of fries or white rice and a veggie or reg egg roll. The lady was super nice and our door was out fast. “We vacation yearly at the same spot, right behind the 12th street boardwalk entrance. Jilly's ice cream is awesome, I especially enjoy the peanut butter vanilla sundae and my teenage son loves their candy cake milkshakes. Under $20 for two people who are definitely going back next year.“

“We had lunch here after visiting Lucy the Elephant. It was about a 6 minute walk from Lucy. Their chocolate milkshake was a generous size for the price, and one of the tastiest I've had. Service was friendly and fast. Their signature burger with the branded bun was also very good. They sell gourmet dog treats so you know it's a dog-friendly spot. You can eat inside, outside or do a pick-up from the outside window. There is free street parking on the residential streets, if you can find it.“

We used to be big Marita's fans but over the years the price has gone up while the portions have gotten ridiculously small. They have a huge menu here with basically every ice cream you could want. Regular ice cream, soft serve, all different types of sundaes. I was excited to see they had cookie butter as an ice cream topping and definitely got that on mine. The ice cream isn't homemade but it was still good. It was busy, but the line moved quickly. The price was about the same as Marita's but you got much more for your money. FYI, they are also cash only.“
