“I can’t explain how amazing this place is in words — the service was absolutely fantastic. Such a wonderful, family-oriented place with so much care put in to the food, service, and atmosphere. If you are in the area (even if you aren’t in the area!), you HAVE to come here. The food is absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back when it’s warm out! “Shrimp Marmora is a must-have!!!! My go-to is the boneless ribs over brown rice. Unfortunately, the dining room has not re-opened to the public since COVID-19 and it's a shame because the food is SO MUCH better served hot and in-house.“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

Wether you want fresh local fish to go, great seafood takeout, or a fun evening on the laid back dock restaurant on the water, you can't go wrong here. “I love this place !!!! Seafood is awesome. Some of the freshest fish and seafood that you could find in the area. The U12 scallops are excellent. There are always a variety of oysters here. Some are local, and others are from Canada or from the far north in the US. My favorites are the Brigantine salts, savage blondes, and, of course, the variety of local clams that they offer. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Hands down the best fish market that South Jersey has to offer. Do yourself a favor and come here at least once and try it. You will be a customer for the rest of your life.“

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. We all agreed it’s a one and done .“

Small quick take out joint bring it back to the hotel when you are in the area next time. They make it spicy too. Curry chicken, kung pao, chicken broccoli, wings and fried rice is what we ordered. “We love Ike's and are happy to see it is still open in th off-season (weekends anyway). We have eaten here a bunch of times over the years and are always satisfied.The menu is large enough that there is something for everyone. Over the years, I've tried the fish and chips, the chicken Parm wrap, fish tacos, the crab cake sandwich and a few other things I can't remember. All of it is great. The chips are plentiful and very tasty.With views of the fishing pier and the ocean, what more could you ask for? Ike's has become a staple of our visits to Ocean City.“

“My girlfriend and I ate breakfast here during our vacation to Cape May in late August 2023. Ocean View is placed right along Beach Ave and only a short walk from many of the hotels.The ambiance was nice and we had a great view of the promenade and beach. It was pleasantly cool and quiet despite being a fairly busy late morning.I ordered the Meat Omelette with Hot Italian Sausage added with Home Fries and Wheat Toast. The Omelette was well done and there was more than enough meat to be filling. The Home Fries and Toast were perfectly cooked and perfectly accompanied the Omellete.“

My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. If in area, try it you won't be disappointed. Save room for dessert, they are good too.“

We had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which was amazing and the warm ciabatta bread was a nice touch with the seasoned oil for dipping! I would definitely recommend a visit!“

The storefront was very clean and well organized. The seafood was fresh and looked great. The directions were clear and concise. I followed to a T and the results were spot on.
