“Haven’t been there in a while. Disappointed no salad bar. I didn’t see open hot turkey or open hot roast beef on their menu. Go back to. what you had before.“

“I really wanted a tasty burger. I've arrived. Nice, cozy...I took the burger. And they stuffed so much finely chopped grass into it that it felt like you weren’t eating meat, but had become a vegan...The chicken is delicious, the sauce is just greatFrench fries are very, very goodOverall a good place, but the burger was disappointing“

“We came to eat at this restaurant 4 times during our week-long stay. To begin with, the team is welcoming, available and very helpful. The menu is diverse (including salads, breakfasts, burgers, desserts, etc.). And everything we ate was really very, very good, the quantities very generous and the prices more than reasonable for New York (30 dollars for two people). For us it is the best restaurant in terms of quality/price where we have eaten in New York. The best: it is open 24 hours a day and is located at the bottom of “Court Square” station (line 7)“

“A perfect establishment—solid breakfast food, kind servers, and a vibe that reminds me of going to breakfast with my dad as a kid. Other diners in the city are at least twice as expensive and don’t provide half the warmth or charm of this place. Thank you thank you Mike’s!!!“

“Amazing, uncomplicated food that's tasty and really good value. The challah bread is particularly good, and I love the potato soup. It's also a very welcoming place to eat if you're on your own - just take a seat at the counter!“

“Restaurant in the heart of New York near Times Square. We stopped there randomly and were very surprised by the concept. Basic dinner meal but prices are relatively high. Not recommended for a quiet meal. Each waiter takes turns becoming a singer and puts on a show while walking around the restaurant. Very entertaining and funny, we had a great time.“

“Awesome brunch. Wait is really long on the weekend however and they only do walk-ins. Food came out slow and service left something to be desired but food mostly made up for it. I'd definitely try and come here more often if I lived closer and it wasn't as busy!“

“We stumbled upon this diner on a quick overnight trip to NYC. It’s everything we were looking for, delicious food made quick with excellent service. The owner at the front was greeting everyone like old friends and you could just feel the sense of community. He seemed to know most people by name. We split a Philly cheesesteak and a BLT sandwich for lunch. They were both excellent. Would definitely recommend. 10/10!“

“Johns coffee shop is honestly a great breakfast and lunch place to go to when visiting NY. The egg, bacon and cheese roll did not disappoint although basic still very delicious and good price. The banana but pancakes were my absolute favorite. Service is excellent and seems like they know their regulars very well. Such a great place to come eat.“

“Good burger. Somehow I got mixed up and thought I ordered fries, too. Nice place, for people like me who like a simple old fashioned burger joint. Table was a bit cramped for four, maybe they more expect couples. Lack of WiFi was a slight problem.“

“Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

“The diner looked clean, and the booths were already set for dining. The waitress was quick and paid attention to us. The parking provided by the restaurant was full, so I had to find a local parking spot. They manage the booths well, cleaning them up when people leave. They play 90s music, which gives it a relaxed vibe. Since it's close to the high school, I believe lots of locals come here for lunch, giving it a friendly neighborhood feel. The waitress got my order in and out, and the food got out 10-12 minutes, though I just ordered a cheeseburger. The food prices seemed typical. It wasn't overpriced, and the burger tasted great!I went there during lunchtime, and it started filling quickly, but the waiter handled it pretty well! The booths give off this relaxed 80s vibe, and everything was clean despite the rush. It's an excellent spot for a quick bite, especially if you're into that nostalgic feel and are okay with the parking situation.“

“Burgers and Chinese food at one place, never would have thought! Burgers were good, big and juicy, and relatively inexpensive. The "caramelized onions" were those fried onions you get from a can and not really caramelized onions. But for 10 bucks with fries and a can of soda, im ok with it.“

“Top notch! I was skeptical of the high ratings since many of the places we've been to in Manhattan have been higher rated than I would give them but ZAZA'S has earned it. The turkey bacon was the best I've ever had and the French toast was divine. My husband also said it was 4.5 stars for him, the highest rating he voiced for any place we visited this trip.“

“Bendix diner is like stepping back into time. It's nice to see an old school diner like this. Don't let it's facade fool you into thinking that the food is greasy or average. Quite the contrary, the quality of food is very good, the portions are of good size and the prices are reasonable. There are artisan hot sauces on each table and counter, the syrup is maple syrup only but with cool flavors like Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, habanero and others. Also the tea, they use premium tea leaves. All of that struck me as odd in a good way. The owner John and his son Michael are wonderful. They are attentive and provide good service. Their food is excellent. I had a turkey club there that rivaled 4 star hotel restaurants. It's truly a hidden gem“

“Stopped in for a quick breakfast (and also to get out of the rain). Had a booth to myself just before the early lunch crowd started arriving. Went with a 3-egg turkey bacon omelette. Chose home fries and rye toast to accompany it. Also, ordered an orange juice as I had had my morning coffee already. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Not a bad diner if you are in the area...“

“This place is just perfectly valued. The taste to price was justified.Portions are large, very very delicious. I tried some other dishes too. First time i am impressed by all the dishes. At worst, they are all good dishes. The guy serving us at the time was very nice and friendly.I seriously think this is a cafe you should consider if you are walking by and want a "safe" option for dining.“

“High number of Google reviews are justified. Loved this diner! Fajita omelette and banana pancakes were really good. Fortunately there was no waiting over the Easter weekend. Sit by the windows, and enjoy some good sunshine while having your brunch. Service was a bit slow as we had to remind about our orders thrice, but the staff was very pleasant to work with. Great place for brunch!“

“their pastrami on rye, of course. But you have to stick to your guns and order just 1 and share it with a date when a waitress will recommend or insist you order two. One order is enough for two really“

“Went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Fortunately we didn't wait long for a table. We ordered a basic breakfast platter, eggs, bacon, potatoes, a pastrami sammy and french toast. All the food was delicious, well cooked with care. Service was very friendly but a bit slow but understandable seeing how busy it was inside. No complaints in that regard, tbh. Will be going more regularly!Parking: The restaurant has maybe 7/8 spots at most. There was street parking available close by.“

“"Classic" American diner near the Brookly Bridge. The menu offers the typical NYC selection (burgers, pancakes, omelettes, bagels, sandwiches - coffee that is always refilled). We had different versions of the omelette and pancakes, but the other dishes looked very good too!Unfortunately, the choice for vegetarians is limited (like everywhere in NYC).Very reasonably priced for NYC.We paid $45 for 3 dishes including drinks. The diner has a utilitarian look and fits very well. The diner seems to be particularly popular with New Yorkers as it is tucked away from the hustle and bustle.“

“One of my favorite places to go with my fiance! Breakfast is a go to of ours. Service is always amazing.I usually get two eggs sunnyside up or over easy with either bacon/pork sausage, cheese grits (American and ask them to stir the cheese in), and rye toast with coffee. The pancakes are 10/10. If I don't get eggs i usually get the pancakes. They are consistently great. If you don't want grits you can get fries or home fries. Both are great as well.Another solid choice for lunch/ brunch is the turkey club on white.Love going here and always have a great time with the love of my life. My favorite pancake partner in crime.“

“Our party sat outside in our own boxcar feeling seating. We had booth seating (which was movable) at a table that could easily fit 6. The room had our own air conditioner, small window, and sliding door. Even though we were outside in the sidewalk, we were isolated from the world. It was devine. It made our dining experience intimate and allowed one of the party who wears a hearing aid be able to hear all of us and engage in the conversation. The food was brought to us promptly. It was all very tasty. I had shrimp (5 jumbo sized) and pasta in Marana sauce. This was a new dish for me. Although the food was tasty, this is not a pairing I would recommend nor order again. I would return for another visit and order something else as the service was wonderful.“

“I lived in this neighborhood for almost 10 years without noticing it until recently! I have to let you know that I fell in love with this place after the first Brunch I had with them on Jan2,2023! Even though they are very busy, everyone pay attention to your needs , always efficient and polite . delicious dishes: I enjoyed every single bite of the meal ! -Soup and pasta were so flavorful. -Best Buffalo wings I ever had -- so so crunchy outside, moist and tender inside AND BEST IF ALL , I am so grateful you put the sauce on the Side , so I can adjust the tangy and spicy taste depending on my preference -Cheeseburger grilled perfectly , so juicy and mouthwatering. -Waffle: mine was golden-brown in color, with a crispy outer texture and a soft interior. - grilled cheese sandwich : perfectly toasted slices stuffed with melting cheese ,It’s worth every single last crumb! and , extensive menu : breakfast, lunch and dinner menu , from comfort food to vegetarian options.
