I am truly so disappointed with my experience here. My family and I went for dinner on Sunday. The food was average, nothing special and definitely not worth the prices. The service was absolutely terrible and it made me mad that the service charge was included for 4 people, usually service charge it added if or parties that are larger than 6. They also didn't have enough seating when I had made a reservation 10 days prior on Open Table. This place seemed like they were understaffed and unorganized. I will definitely not be going back.

Made a reservation specifing a birthday and requesting a candle on the desert. Mentioned during ordering desert the birthday girl would like....but no recognition or candle whatsoever. Seemed like a singles pick up spot with the DJ music and people there. It does have great views. Perhaps a brunch crowd would be better for family celebrations. Overall, I can think of no reason to go back.

Went to dinner here on a Saturday night with a group of 6. The music and liveliness really picked up around 10 pm. As for our dinner, it started on a poor note with murky tap water with pieces of something swimming in it. The manager did see and pretty quickly gave us bottled water that he did not charge for. We shared appetizers- onion rings tower (5/5), stuffer zucchini blossoms (2/5), bang bang shrimp (4/5), spicy tuna tartare (3/5), arugula salad (3/5), Brussel sprouts (2/5), baked clams (4/5). The overall appetizer standout was the onion ring tower followed closely by the bang bang shrimp and baked clams. Unfortunately, all the others were extremely mediocre. For entrees, I tried the black ink pasta (5/5) which was really well balanced with the butter sauce, chilis, and shrimp (generous shrimp portion!) They warned me that that dish was spicy but I found it to have mild spice if any. The other entree I tried was the seafood capellini (3/5) which came highly recommended by the waiter. Unfortunately this one fell short on flavor. The pasta itself did not fit into the fish and tasted like it belonged in a kids menu rather than a complex seafood dish. The seafood itself was fresh and a generous portion. We finished off with the cheesecake which was my personal favorite dish of the entire meal. The consistency was perfect and the contrast of the fruits added a tart flavor to every bite. We did order a coffee that we never recieved but they removed it from our bill when we brought it up. The restaurant does have a beautiful view especially the enclosed outdoor area which does have heaters. It's unfortunate that the service and food quality is falling short because this location has incredible potential!

Waterside is such a beautiful venue!! Between the ambiance, food, and staff, it's the perfect place to hold your special event!! Lesley, Shantal, and Christian were all so wonderful and helpful in coordinating our wedding plans!! They went above and beyond to cater to all of our requests and helped make our wedding day so very special!!! Our guests are still talking about the gorgeous city views and the abundance of delicious food!!

My family had the pleasure of hosting Christopher & Stephanie's engagement party here at Waterside Events this past weekend.WHAT A TIME it was! everyone had a blast. it was so well thought out- SHANTAL was an absolute rock star though out the whole experience. between phone calls, emails, text messages- she truly planned this without any issues. The venue was absolutely stunning. bartenders were awesome and prompt- waiters were so respectful and always near to help.I truly wouldn't have a party anywhere else. it was the best night ever. Thank you again to Waterside Events and a special thankyou to Shantal- couldn't of done this without you !

Upon entering this place the vibes were off immediately. The hostess was not friendly at all and looked at us like we had 5 heads when we came in. Regardless, we were brought to our table and were seated with a stunning view! We went around 4 P.M. so it was still sunny and had a beautiful view of the water and city. However, it's sad to say the food did not math up to the views. The menu is interesting, not a lot of options and seems to be trying to be something it isn't (aka a really fancy boujee place, but it is definitely not that). We ordered steak frites and asked for the steak medium rare. When we received our meal #1 the steak was not sliced up how steak frites normally is, and #2 the steak was literally grey with a touch of pink inside. When we weren't touching our food the waiter walked over and asked if everything was alright and we responded that the steak was very over cooked (and honestly overall just did not look appetizing). To which I think he brought a manager over and the manager tried to gaslight us by telling us the steak has a little pink in it ... ok great but that's still not medium rare??? Then he tried telling us that if we ordered the filet mignon it would've been better ?!? Like what??? So we were so over it at this point we said we'll just take the check, then the manager proceeds to ask us if we want boxes for the meals we didn't touch. Buddy, if we didn't want to eat it in your weird restaurant then we definitely don't want to eat it in the comfort of our own home. He offered to take it off the check which was nice and we wound up just paying for our one drink each. Really bizarre visit overall.
