“First impressions are important. curb appeal is everything and they definitely have that. It is a pleasant setup outside and inside is every bit as welcoming! This small quaint scratch bakery and coffee bar is just what you need to start your morning off right! As soon as you walk in the door, the aroma is amazing. whether you're smelling the fresh cinnamon buns or the coffee brewing, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. the baked goods are delicious. I myself tried the blueberry, crumb, muffin and my significant other had apple fritter both amazing and the rich smooth coffee that we both had is the perfect. pick me up for your day! highly recommended 10 out of 10!!!Thank you, beach buns for the great experience we will definitely be back!“

“I had a piece of their rum cake at a birthday party and ended up ordering one for the holidays. $35 for a small one which I think is worth it because it is a uniquely made cake. Whipped cream instead of frosting. Two kinds of pudding inside. Shaved almonds on the sides with a rum chocolate taste. It is definitely a different type of cake sure to please anyone who tries it.“

“Yeppppp.... this is peanut/nut butter heaven. I love how simple this place is but SO perfect. Yes, the prices are going to be more than your average "Jiffys" from the grocery store. You are paying for HIGH QUALITY, GOURMET nut butters - its worth it!! These nut butters are for die hard fans. Creamy, thick, sweet, you name it- they have it. Love the variety of flavors & PB themed treats in shop!“

“Having grown up just a couple of blocks from Positively, I would have been in this place every day if it was around back then. It has a nostalgic feel that’s very comforting. Very fitting name! Great, relaxing, quiet atmosphere with a hint of some Grateful Dead jams playing in the distance. I love all of the plants and artwork. Great friendly service and delicious coffee too. Didn’t eat anything this time but I’ll be back.“

“First time coming across this gem. Came in as they were closing, grabbed a slice of cheesecake & cannoli. Both were phenomenal!!! As may girlfriend and I were outside eating our desserts, the man (I’m assuming the owner, I didn’t catch his name)was closing up shop and gave us a loaf of seeded bread, which was also terrific.. What a wonderful gesture. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in OC, they’ve gained a customer for life.“

“Ordered a 10 inch coconut 4 layer cake for the 4th of July weekend. The cake was so delicious and was a big hit with everyone. I also picked up for myself a slice of Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake. It was a nice light texture and at the same time taste very rich. Both were awesome. Can't wait to try some more things.“

“Cute little coffee shop on the outskirts of AC, we stopped by here on our way out from the casinos the night before. They didn't have a menu up at the time I came, but I was able to see most of their specials here on yelp and the owner was very kind and said she could make anything I requested. I went with the Dirty Banana latte I saw online and it met expectations. The banana taste was not artificial and the coffee was strong. Their flavors all seem very interesting and I'd love to come back to try them!“

“Mallon's Sticky Buns are delicious! They are baked perfectly. The caramel like sauce all over and in between. Just the right amount of raisins and nuts. Mine arrived in two days. Sometimes they are still warm when they arrive but they are, always, packed very well. If you happen to be in NJ where their stores are when you walk in the staff is very nice, the store is very clean and the smells of the sticky buns, crumb cakes, donuts are heavenly. I wrapped the left overs in wax paper. I have found they taste the best when reheated in the microwave and don't forget the butter. Enjoy!“

“I was in search of a local bakery near work and found a few, but none were open early enough to help me on my quest for donuts @ 6 am for work. So, I decided to pop in Chester's and see what they had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to see an array of donuts that looked really good in the display cases. It was hard for me to choose some of the options bc there were plenty. I asked for 2 dozen and the kind young lady who greeted me held my hand as she walked me through the options. There were Boston Cream, Chocolate Glazed, Regular Glazed, Chocolate Frosted Cinnamon Bun, Apple Filled, Jelly Filled, Vanilla with Sprinkles, Chocolate with Sprinkles, Cinnamon, etc. I tried to get as many as I could. The young lady rang me up and taped the boxes. I paid $50 and left a tip. She was happy and so was I. Off to work I went with my donuts. When I arrived, people almost ran me over to grab donuts from the boxes. Everyone was happy with the choices. There's nothing like FRESH donuts that are made by a bakery (yea, I think you can tell I am not a Dunkin Donuts type of girl, lol).“

The food and pastries are the BEST and they often offer gluten/free and vegan options.The coffee is always delicious and they have unique add-ins (ghee, bee pollen, turmeric honey).Some of my favorite pastries include the morning cookie, lavender shortbread, and Hungarian shortbread... but literally everything is good and fresh.It gets super crowded during tourist season and parking can be impossible, so it's a good idea to go in early. Alternatively, come with a sacrificial friend and force them to drive around the block until you're done ordering.“

“So many visitors to Atlantic City come to this block to visit White House Subs and miss out on the actual best landmark on the block that is Formica Bros Bakery right across the street. The bakery that creates the bread which is the real star of those famous sandwiches. Everything i have ever gotten from this tiny cafe and bakery is outstanding including the bread, pastries and baked goods and chocolate covered delights as well as their cannolis and tomato pie slices. The tomato pie actually deserves its own sentence to acknowledge how great it is; the bread and crust have a great crunch consistency and chew in all the right places and the sauce is exceptionally well balanced no too sweet and not too tart. just right and rivals any u will find in Philly or South Jersey. I also enjoy and the different sweet bread breakfast loaves and muffins. They also have several cakes that i have never tried but based on all my other experiences would no think twice about getting if need for a special occasion. Lastly I must say they make some of the best non chain store coffees, espressos and lattes i have ever had anywhere in the country and are a must pickup whenever i am driving by and need a quick pick me up for the ride home to PA. The staff is extra friendly and quick to help u pick the best item for your needs. And for such a small store it is incredibly comfortable, clean and well laid out to fit a whole lot of food and a few tables looking out onto Arctic Ave. Love these old authentic independent stores and will always be a visitor as long as we both are around.“

With the inspiring words, to the decor, and to the most energetic and uplifting staff I’ve ever come across, this is a must go to place in Atlantic City. The chef is friendly and has such a positive energy coming off him I felt like I’ve know him for years.The food is amazing. The Chelsea snap wrap is amazing as well as the Pastrami sandwich is superb.And the coffee? Oh wow the coffee is absolutely amazing as well. The Irish cream latte is the best one I’ve ever had in years.I rarely go to the same place twice unless I genuinely love it and I can tell you this, every time I’m in Atlantic City I will definitely be coming here. “Went In for the first time ever this week! The couple who owns the store do it all and the are the kindest, genuine people. Cookies were yummy. Comparable prices to a Crumble cookie but so much better. We got a dozen for about $26. We were not huge fans of OCNJ but the cookies were a favorite!“

“Very diverse bakery with a small dining room area. There can't be any more than 15 or so tables inside. I visited on a Friday morning in off season for breakfast and I still had to wait which is a sign of how good the food is. I had a fantastic meal there and really recommend the Farmer's Breakfast. It has everything you could ever want for breakfast and the flavors are spectacular. Our server was attentive and refilled our waters and coffee swiftly. I think my only complaint is that the dining area is a bit too cramped. However, if they used less tables it would cause longer waits so I can overlook it.Very much recommend this establishment.“

“You can smell the delicious bread as you approach. The bread is phenomenal and reasonably priced. The guava bread is delicious and my favorite is the bread with the pineapple cream inside. Not too overly sweet but delicious and creamy. This bread is delicious kind you can eat for breakfast. They also make some killer flan...once you go, you will want to continue to go. Please note that they only accept CASH. Know before you go, but go !!! You'll be glad you did. I hope they will be selling Pan de Muertos.“

“I need to share what an amazing experience I had with Bake Happy. I needed a cannoli cake last minute for a birthday for a coworker and the team at Bake Happy went above and beyond to help me. They were able to take my order with short notice, called me with questions to customize to my liking, and even agreed to meet me at the bakery just before they opened to allow me to pick it up early on the day that I needed it. The cake was beautifully decorated and everyone at work couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. I also want to add that the bakery itself was incredibly cute and when I walked in smelled extremely clean as if they had just taken the extra time to clean the premises. All of their products are great , round rolls , sub rolls , seeded breads, tomatoe pie , pizza shells, sour dough, bread crumbs, twists , well you get the idea!!!!!
