“An absolutely phenomenal boil dinner prepared by Jay that was delicious, easy and a load of fun for my entire family! We can’t wait to come back to the shore next year and book another boil. Jay made it so simple and easy and having no prep or clean up we were able to enjoy more family time on our last night of vacation. Cannot recommend Jay and the Outerbanks Boil company enough!!”

“Buddy Loves BBQ was some of the BEST BBQ we’ve had. We got the Family Feast for four of us and there was SO much food. We got the slab of ribs, wings, potato salad, Mac, and beans. Everything was so delicious. Very flavorful and PLENTY for the four of us. Literally finger-licking good. My husband and I love BBQ, so this is definitely a welcomed addition to the boardwalk for us!Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. “I almost don’t want to write this review at the risk of this place getting too popular to get a reservation. The Betz Room is simply The Best food in Ocean City, NJ. Nothing on the island compares. Not even close.You have to join as a member for a modest $25 per person. For those who do not know, Ocean City is a dry town and you cannot consume alcohol anywhere except a for few private clubs. Once you become a member of The Betz Room, you can BYOB and enjoy a fabulous menu. The foie gras app was seared to perfection, served on a date cake with ultra-thin rhubarb. Outstanding… as was the grilled asparagus with a perfectly poached egg, prosciutto and shaved parmigiana reggiano.Our mains were phenomenal. The agnolotti were al dente with a delicate ricotta filling. The seared scallops were the true gem though, perfectly caramelized one side and just a touch to the pan on the other left them perfectly cooked. They were on top of a raviolo with a touch of trout roe. Honestly, I could have closed my eyes and thought I was in a Michelin-rated restaurant (I just ate at one two days ago - so I know!!). The goat cheese cheesecake was sooo subtle and no, not goaty at all. Really, really great.So, if you are in OC and like food, you have to join The Betz Room. It is in a league of its own.”

“We ordered food for take out and everything was great. The only problem I had was that I ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla, and it was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. No where on the menu did it say that it came with red peppers and jalapeños. Even my bf who loves spicy food said that it was hot so I know it was bad. Thankfully he shared his food with me. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals!”

“First visit. Bay side of Asbury Avenue on 11th Street. Tropical beach-stand motif with inviting colors features a walk-up window. Street parking. Chalkboard menus with numerous options for regular combinations or a la carte. This customer doesn't tolerate unripened fruit, so Bungalow Bowls earned 5 stars for quality! I ordered a custom acai bowl. I was greeted with a smile, patience while deciding my fruits, and clean service. Gloved hands selected and sliced beautiful strawberries, blueberries, and mango. I added apple atop granola and peanut butter drizzle. Fantastically ripe and colorful, sweet frozen acai, and fresh granola clusters came together for a layered mid-day treat (lunch) that satisfied. Bowl can close with a lid for transport, but I ate mine right away. Prepared quickly (1 minute) and beautifully. Price was on the high side, but the ingredient quality made it entirely worth it.”

“I went right at the end of the day, the staff was excellent and very cheerful. Sadie was very patient and nice with the order for my wife, mom, daughter and myself. The while staff took great care of the order and were cheerful. Unfortunately the only other name I got was Milo, but there were 5 ladies there and they made the day great. Thank you all!!!”

“We eat here a lot when vacationing or visiting the OC area. Have never had anything that wasn't delish. My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. If in area, try it you won't be disappointed. Save room for dessert, they are good too.”

“We came here in the off-season and had such a lovely time with practically the whole restaurant to ourselves. Our large group went silent because we were enjoying our food so much!! Service was amazing. Especially was touched by our server making special adjustments to remove something from the soup for me (without me asking) when I was just going to eat around it. While I don't know if that's true or not, it was a damn fine breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel. Only minor nits are we asked for toasted well done and neither bagel was. Also, add Scapple to your breakfast meat selection!”

“Loved this authentic Italian. The portion sizes are huge. We split a pizza and pasta dish between the three of us and still has left overs. The two workers that night were like a comedy double act with non stop banter between them. One of the best pizzas I have ever had and as previously stated huge portion size.I started with the Italian wedding soup and it was phenomenal.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome they don't get any things to do, however they are welcome.”

“This is my new favorite place to eat in Ocean City! My mom and I were visiting for a few days and friend suggested we go. We liked it so much we went back a second day and got the same thing.... Popeyes avocado toast....sooo good! We did not like our drinks so much so did not get one the second time...but the cups they were served in made it fun!! “Craveworthy treats. The blend of the ice cream with cereal and other toppings is surprisingly amazing. I have to pass along one bit of constructive feedback - I hope management reads and doesn’t take personally, just trying to help: the cups are too small relative to the height of the portions and thus are very difficult to eat without making a crazy mess. The “kiddie” size is especially problematic for both kids and non-kids. I am not suggesting larger portions but rather larger/wider cups that better contain the deliciousness and the toppings.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids just don't let them (or adults) eat it in the car.”

“First time coming across this gem. Came in as they were closing, grabbed a slice of cheesecake & cannoli. Both were phenomenal!!! As may girlfriend and I were outside eating our desserts, the man (I’m assuming the owner, I didn’t catch his name)was closing up shop and gave us a loaf of seeded bread, which was also terrific.. What a wonderful gesture. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in OC, they’ve gained a customer for life.”

“My first expereince with this restaurant was very positive. Got takeout on a Friday night that included the taco platter. Had the chiorizo and carnitas tacos along with rice and beans. Food was very tasty and fresh. I will definately be back.”

“A friend recommended Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Ocean City, NJ for breakfast. I had never been there but he insisted that we try it. Needless to say, I've never had pancakes that good, ever! Their coffee was equally as good. The waitress was fantastic and checked back several times and even had the entire menu memorized. Trust me, I tried giving her a few numbers, and she nailed everything listed at those numbers without hesitation. If you are in Ocean City, NJ, go check out Uncle Bill's Pancake House. “Mallon's Sticky Buns are delicious! They are baked perfectly. The caramel like sauce all over and in between. Just the right amount of raisins and nuts. Mine arrived in two days. Sometimes they are still warm when they arrive but they are, always, packed very well. If you happen to be in NJ where their stores are when you walk in the staff is very nice, the store is very clean and the smells of the sticky buns, crumb cakes, donuts are heavenly. I wrapped the left overs in wax paper. I have found they taste the best when reheated in the microwave and don't forget the butter. Enjoy!”

“Milva was the best server ever, we love the pizza man he was so nice and the pizza was honestly the best I’ve had in a very long time. Best prices on the boardwalk, one slice is all you need lol. Lee is such an amazing guy he’s very efficient once we got seated in 7 minutes or so later our fresh pie was delivered by this lovely man. Milva sang songs our children sung along very family friendly will definitely be coming back! ❤️”

“Lemme start out by saying they turn pizzas like a factory here. The turnover rate is insane! Good for them and it's amazing to see how much of an icon this place this so far.As for the service, it was great and the waitress helped us with all our questions and orders.Food wise, the pizza was delicious. Sauce not too sweet or tangy, can taste a bit of garlic and it's not too watery. Cheese was fantastic and melted and complimented the crust and sauce perfectly. The crust though has an odd look to it, it seems it got proofed way too fast or that there were dry spots in many places when they baked it. It tasted good but not great.The Zeppolis though, just regular fries dough with some Nutella drizzled on it and powdered sugar. “Went In for the first time ever this week! The couple who owns the store do it all and the are the kindest, genuine people. Cookies were yummy. Comparable prices to a Crumble cookie but so much better. We got a dozen for about $26. We were not huge fans of OCNJ but the cookies were a favorite!”

I called ahead and got an emphatic “yes” when I asked if they could accommodate my 6 year old granddaughter who has celiac disease. When we got there and to the counter the owners and counter help could not have been nicer, or more knowledgeable. They gave us our options, of which there were plenty. Showed us the ingredient label. Went in the back for a fresh tub and a clean scoop. I also tried some of the Tropical BreeE smoothie, which was really refreshing. You could taste the mango and pineapple, as well as the orange juice. The Auntie Anne's website has the hours for this location swapped with the store farther up the boardwalk. He took great measures to explain what was going on and took steps to get us what we needed. “Beautiful spot! Had the vanilla coconut caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso, and it was hands down one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. Really sweet and helpful girl working behind the counter too. They have sandwiches and pastries here also, but the coffee and flavor menu are insane. So many delicious options. Beautiful mugs and other souvenirs, good seating available here too. You can see the staff through the rear window working on packaging other things, pretty cool. My Google reviews are rated top 1% in this side of the country, about to hit 20 million views. I also owned a restaurant and two other customer service based businesses currently with a combined 500/600 5 star reviews. So for anyone reading the reviews, the people leaving one stars here are the types that should be staying home and making their coffee themselves! Coffee is just one of those things that yeah, I get and understand if you’re particular…but if you want to be thattttt picky, not to mention pick a busy day at a spot like this where you could tell that they were just trying to get you what you asked and get you on your way- just stay home and make your own coffee instead! the staff at this location is definitely the type who would fix an issue with a cup of coffee and not bat an eye. So for those people saying they had bad coffee and bad customer service here, they were probably just the impatient people coming in on a busy day and got frustrated with that. Like I said, I write reviews all the time for small businesses, and see other peoples reviews as well, and checkout their accounts and past reviews!! You can often tell some of these people leaving the one-star reviews only have a Google account to write businesses bad reviews, because they’re just the impatient type who never worked in the customer service or food industry before!!! “We changed our minds about six times. As we read furth er in the menu we always wanted the next thing. Wish there was such a thing as a breakfast sampler platter - one of everything on the menu. Buttermilk pancakes were light and I couldn't eat all of mine. The sausage, bacon and eggs were very good but the home fries were outstanding. The coffee is fresh and we loved the coffee mugs. Paula was patient with us while we tried to narrow down our choices. We will absolutely be back.”

“What an amazing find! We love crepes and found our way to the Sea Isle City Boardwalk and Urban Crepes. We ordered a strawberry banana and chocolate crepe and a Chicken Caesar Salad crepe. They were delicious and wonderfully prepared. We also ordered a cappuccino and mocha, again, delightful and lovingly made. I had to them get a lemonade which was so refreshing. Love this place!”

“Went to Express Pizza today for lunch. We ate in and got a large cheese pizza and a few other items. As a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur, the cheese pizza was fantastic. I have no complaints about it and was one of my top pizzas I've had. The cheese and sauce were perfect, high quality. The crust was magical. Crispy on the bottom but so light and fluffy (idk how you do it). The cheese and sauce were "tight" on the pizza, wasn't a sloppy mess. Perfection.”

“Local north end haunt to get ice cream. Kids loved the speciality cones and hard scoop flavors. Two speciality cones and a scoop running about $16 these day but still delicious!”

One thing that stood out here was that the home fries came with some seasoning instead of just being completely bland like everywhere else. The food was great along with the staff. I recommended this place 100% as a must go if you’re in town.”

“Best little place me and my sister stumbled upon. We were riding our motorcycles around and needed to use the bathroom. Wawa next door does not have a public restroom. The waitress was very nice and the food smelled delicious. We stayed and got a personal mushroom pizza to split. We will def be back!!!”
