“My first expereince with this restaurant was very positive. Got takeout on a Friday night that included the taco platter. Had the chiorizo and carnitas tacos along with rice and beans. Food was very tasty and fresh. I will definately be back.“

“We ordered food for take out and everything was great. The only problem I had was that I ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla, and it was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. No where on the menu did it say that it came with red peppers and jalapeños. Even my bf who loves spicy food said that it was hot so I know it was bad. Thankfully he shared his food with me. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals!“

“A favorite of ours! We make it a point to eat here at least once or twice any time we’re vacationing in OCNJ. We’ve even driven up from Philadelphia in the off-season just for a taco fix. Also, the cheesesteak quesadillas are a real treat. Nothing fancy here; just a really good meal! Highly recommended and we wish they were open all year.“

“We were looking for an Awesome Mexican restaurant in AC. Online we found Salt and Pepper. The ratings were high, so we thought we’d check it out. It certainly lived up to it’s reputation. The food was Amazing and Super Authentic.! We’ll definitely be back!“

“After a disappointing experience with our hotel, our expectations for this weekend trip to Atlantic City was low. AC is going down hill.Then we went searching for food and found this little spot. At first, we kept our hopes low. However, the staff was really friendly. We ordered some tacos and chimichangas. OMG the food was amazing. All of a sudden our trip to AC is looking up. “I am so honored to give La Negra, it’s Christmas night, we are in AC tasting their local dishes. Tonight we had Mexican food as Christmas dinner while playing in the casino. They are sucha hard working family owned business. Mom was the cook and the son delivered food.Food was tasty we had the nachos with chicken, chicken quesadilla and the grill chicken dish. Our dishes--Huevos Rancheros and Egg-White Veggie omelet--were served promptly and hot and, most importantly, were delicious! Appreciated the friendly, attentive service, too. Note: I'm guessing this cozy place gets packed on summer weekends, so plan accordingly. We were lucky to visit on a chilly, early-April day when tables and street parking spots were plentiful.“

“The enchiladas were so good !!!I got the beef .Definitely not the “Americanized” ground beef .So flavorful with the fresh ingredients .If you aren’t a spicy lover . Maybe ask for the sauce on the side or ask if they have something very mild .I had the green sauce and it had one heck of a kick but in a great way ..they didn’t have any vegan options on the menu but the vegan taco they came up with for us was on point .Very appreciative of them doing that . They nailed it !!!Service was great .Will be going back many more times !!“

Randi always helps me find the right quantity to order: cheesesteak egg rolls , tuna poke platters, nachos and build your own tacos made for an easy and plentiful dinner for over 20. Everything was hot- fresh and memorable . Our guests could not stop raving. Think of TacocaT for your next house party. “Jeni's Pizza Artic Ave. Between Sovereign & Montpelier. Atlantic City, NJ This week I had another of their Great Cheese steaks on wonderful Rando Bread. Fries are crisp and plentiful. Their pizza are to order as you like it. I have had several over the last few months. All were very good. Next I plan to expand into their Mex/Latino menu. The spices & texture look amazing. Takeout or Pickup street parking is plentiful.“

“For a hole in the wall place they have amazing food here. Big portions, smells awesome, and tastes great. No public bathroom from what we saw it was out of order. You have to pay to park if you park in front of the store, but parking is no much. Look at the menu before you go as the ordering counter is small and there are only 4-5 tables you can sit at inside to eat. I had the TLAYUDA there and eating half of it filled me, definitely can feed two people.Parking: Using the app you pay with your phone and log you info for parking.“

“Placed an order for pickup tonight right before they closed and not only did they take my order, they also made my food with love. The store was clean and the staff was pleasant. Steak sopes were delicious as well as the orange and green sauces it came with.. Definitely worth a detour if your in the area.“

“Great breakfast this morning on the water. Bacon and cheese omelette was delicious as was my wife's chocolate chip brioche french toast. Inside and outside dining is available. Breakfast and lunch stop, very good. Service was great as well as the atmosphere.“
