“Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha).After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich.As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!”

“These are by far the best and most authentic Mexican tacos I’ve had in the state of New Jersey. For someone who has regularly gone to some of the “best rated” Taco places in the state, This locations Al pastor tacos with cheese are some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. A true hidden gem in Roselle Park.”

“Every dish ordered was made fresh. Everything came out piping hot. The flauta apps were really good and stuffed with a good amount of meat.Salsa needed jalapenos - or some kick element. Chile Crema Pollo was light on the sauce and heat (not spicy).Of course, churros are always a win. You can order then by singles - got 2.Interior design is aesthetically pleasing. “The server, her name is Alex and she was so patient and friendly. Honestly made our birthday event so fun and was able to make everyone laugh. Plus they were accommodating and guided us through the drinks and food menu. The food was great and the drinks were a 10/10. Def recommend this place!”

“This restaurant is a family favorite. Everyone is so friendly and the food is outstanding. All of the food is delicious, but our family favorite have always been the Eggplant Rollatini and the Shrimo Scampi Gorgonzola. My family has been coming here for more than 20 years and I look forward to it each time.”

“Today I accidentally stopped there for coffee on my way to the train station. Coffee has a really different flavor when combined with hot milk. I highly recommend the coffee, it outclasses Starbucks and this type of place in terms of taste and price .”

“Great store, my 8 year old son found this place while riding his bike around the neighborhood he stepped in to buy himself some candy the shop owner was very helpful he helped my son count out the money he needed (it was his first time going to the store on his own) and made it a great first experience for him. “Picked up a large plain pie today around 230pm.i always in past picked up slices usually.i think your pizza is so delicious..but today I was very disappointed .the slices were so small compared to when I've order usually 2slices to go in the past.pizza was so dried out as of it was made hours earlier.which explains why I was told to pick up in 15 minutes.thought I was getting a fresh pie but I didn't.”

No surprise to locals how great this place is, but I moved further away and almost forgot. Now I have to make excuses to get down this way to stop by.”
