“We had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was very nice and the food delicious. Again everything from the alcoholic beverages and entrees to the desserts. One disappointment was that I ordered the shrimp and grits which was supposed to come with bacon and chorizo, I asked for no chorizo and the dish came without both bacon and chorizo. The server was busy which I understand and wasn’t able to check on us while eating , so I ate most of my meal and alerted him at the end before we all ordered dessert. He apologized and said he would find out what went wrong but never followed up. I would never expect the meal to be free or anything like that, but maybe a simple free dessert or ten percent off the wrong prepared entree would be a nice gesture. Small differences matter especially when our bill was quite high. I’m sure we would return but when you are paying a premium for a good experience, something could have been done. Other than the small issue , a good experience.“

Greeted by very friendly staff, sat quickly. Our waitress was great, answered all our questions. Get the wings with the house sauce, we got buffalo and house. We agreed we are getting the house sauced wings next time, they were both good but dang that house sauce. Had the Seoul sister with jerk chicken, amazing. “My wife and I threw our daughter’s first birthday party at Farington’s today and we were so impressed. We have been many times before and the food is always delicious. We had around 40 guests, (perfect number of guests for the space), and Farington and his staff knocked it out of the park. “We recently used Anthony’s catering for a small birthday gathering at my house. I was really impressed with the food, the service, and reasonable prices. The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. The salad was very fresh with strawberries and a yummy tangy dressing, and the cheesecake was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, when they needed to substitute the toffee topping on the cheesecake I ordered, they went above and beyond to find a suitable sub for us, offering lots of yummy alternatives (we went with pecan and salted caramel - YUM!). Anthony’s is going to be my new go-to when I’m entertaining and don’t want to cook!“

“Almost hidden on a small street in Belleville, Me & Tommy's looks like someone's house from the outside. Once inside, you are immediately treated as a guest in a friend's home. We received such a warm welcome, that my husband asked if I knew the staff. That level of service continued throughout the entire meal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding service. The dining area is quite small, and they are busy all night. I would most definitely call for a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is lively and boisterous. Not meant for a quiet romantic evening. Kinda like a loud Sunday family dinner vibe. For food: Smothered Rice Balls in Vodka Sauce, Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers, Pasta Volognese, and Artichoke Chicken. For me, the Rice Balls were my favorite dish. Generously portioned, the rice balls are a cheesy carb delight. The famous vodka sauce was creamy and plentiful. Highly recommend. The Stuffed Peppers were two very large, beautiful cubanelles (my personal fav pepper). My husband loved the stuffing, while I did think it was a touch over seasoned. The Volognese- cross btw vodka and bolognese) was enormous! It does lean more to the bolognese, but was tasty nonetheless. My Chicken Artichoke special consisted of three chicken breasts with mozzarella and artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce over linguine. This was a very tasty and satisfying dish, and -you guessed it- generous. We shared an Affogatto with Bailey's liqueur for dessert which was a perfect end to the meal. Even my espresso was delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We took home enough left overs for another meal! We will most definitely return.“

Every meal is prepared with care and precision, every server I've had (no two the same) have been efficient, courteous and professional. The drinks are great as well. Selection is quite varied. It's a festive place so it gets loud but as expected when people are enjoying food, drink and friends.“

“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“

“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“At last minute on labor day weekend we was searching lunch and dinner catering for our Wearhouse staff where we found this place on google. with in two hour they have provide lunch sandwiches, beverage & chips for our 175 afternoon staff and they also provide dinner for our 150 evening staff. all there sandwiches was made with fresh sliced meat and cheese and fresh veggies.....we definitely order again from this place....we thank them for taking care of us at last minute....thank you so much...“

It wasn’t until we were seated that I realized there was nothing on the menu that met my Plant based dietary needs. I asked our server what she would suggest. She returned with several options for each course. When our meals were served we were all delighted with our choices. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious, and more than satisfying. My plant-based meal was high quality, full of flavor and texture and I would highly recommend my meal to anyone, even if they didn’t normally follow a plant based diet normally. It was That Good. And to top it off, the Chef came to our table to make sure we were all satisfied with our choices. “This was another first for us but after reading the reviews we decided to try it. We went around 6:00 so we were seated right away. Service was fast. My son wanted a burger my husband ordered the steak sandwich and french onion soup and I ordered the shrimp scampi. The only thing I was a little disappointed was that the shrimp scampi came with nothing you had to pay to put rice and broccoli as sides so that made it a little pricey about $40. We didn't wait long for the food and the food was delicious none of us had any complaints very tasty nice size portions. Once we received our food the restaurant became a little bit more crowded and then nobody ever came over again to ask us if we needed anything or even wanted dessert. So we just asked for the check. In total for two drinks, a Shirley Temple a soup and three entrees the check was about $100 which we thought was very reasonable. The food was delicious and again the service was good up until the end when they got a little busier but other than that I think we would definitely go back. We parked on the street. The parking lot isn't that big but I think you can find plenty of parking in the neighborhood.“

“I visited the Old Bermuda Inn for the first time. I have always noticed it from the 440 Staten Island and thought it was beautiful especially when it is lit up at night. I was excited to go. I parked my own car. The front of the venue was beautiful. The school I work for hosted an event on the first floor of over 300 people and over 200 baskets. Seating was comfortable, the tables were beautiful and I was near the bar. Our waitress was on point. I ate the salad with garlic bread, penne vodka and the salmon. My husband got the Chicken Marsala. Many of my coworkers had the stake. They all came with a veggie melody and roasted potatoes. All of the food was delicious. My ultimate favorite was the dessert. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a brownie. I enjoyed it so much that I took the person next to me dessert too bc they were busy dancing and it was melting. The only thing I wished for was a cup of coffee.My family has two events planned there soon. I am looking forward to going back!“

“We found this place while working in the area and decided to give it a shot. Located on Lock St in Newark. The outside looks inviting with music playing and seating outside. Inside is newly built with plenty of seats and a bar area. The menu is all online as is the ordering. I ordered the Vermont rooster sandwich which comes with fries .. it's a deep fried boneless chicken thigh on a brioche bun with lettuce tomato and pickles with bacon cooked perfectly. My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm.
