The staff is always friendly as well. If you’re looking for a quick lunch with great service and prices this is your spot.“
“Great store, my 8 year old son found this place while riding his bike around the neighborhood he stepped in to buy himself some candy the shop owner was very helpful he helped my son count out the money he needed (it was his first time going to the store on his own) and made it a great first experience for him. I stopped by after that for a sandwich and it was delicious. Very good. If you’re in the area support this local business ????“

“Best Taylor ham egg and cheese around. I told the owner I traveled 3,000 miles to try this place. He said if you don't like it for whatever reason, we'll make it again! The service was excellent and classic Jersey vibes. I will come here again when I visit town. I highly recommend this place.“

So far I've been sampling the sandwiches my favorites are the pork cutlet and the amazing turkey meatball park with vodka sauce ( delicious!!). I just had the Italian and it was perfect! Highly recommend this place!“

“My son and I stopped in on Thursday of last week, on a whim, after picking up some items from the dollar store a few doors down. I had heard good things about the food, from my friend, who owns Pro Braids next to Irvington Post Office. My son ordered a turkey and cheese sub. He is a picky eater( with new restaurants). But he enjoyed the sandwich a lot. I am sure we will be back again. Good size portion and Halal!!Cannot get any better than that.Good addition to the neighborhood!“

“Had an awesome meal with my girlfriend at the deli last weekend. Cranford crack didn’t disappoint and I’m still thinking about the chicken cutlet! Dominic came to sit and chat with us and Joanie was the belle of the ball. Such a great experience. Can’t wait to bring my son and husband back.“

“Once in awhile you come across a business owner who takes enormous pride in their products, and makes them as though they are making it for their own family. I called Cioffi's and got Jerry the owner, who helped make my friend's birthday extra special by honoring my request for a heart-shaped pizza to be delivered to his house on his birthday. Jerry was in on it from the moment I explained what I wanted, as excited and joyful about the surprise as I hoped our friend would be! He was excited about our idea, excited for my friend, and excited to play his part in the whole thing. He even sent me texts as he was preparing it and just before he gave it to the delivery guy. I am so grateful for such a well executed (and delicious!!!!) surprise. Thank you, Jerry!!! Stay YOU!!“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“

“After reading a number of positive reviews and realizing I drive by Syrena fairly regularly I decided to stop in to pick up a lunch and dinner meal. For lunch I tried two types of pierogies and for dinner stuffed cabbage. Really good and the service at the steam table was efficient and friendly. Next visit will be for kielbasa and pastries. Lots of canned and jarred vegetable options, sweets, and packaged goods to choose from. It's fun to figure out what to pick up on my next visit.“

“This place is such a great hidden gem in the back of many businesses in Springfield Ave.l of summit. The employees are very friendly and the quality of the food justify it's prices. Great for a light lunch compared to all the pizza and fried stuff located everywhere in summit. I personally get the grilled chicken Cesar wrap and the cheese steak for lunch at least once a week. Give this place a shot. Great portions, great prices, great flavor“

“The place has such a vibe. The food is just delicious. I had a bacon egg and cheese and a chicken cutlet sandwich. We all have that sandwich spot. The one we like the bread at or the coffee or the way we get treated. This is my spot now. Customer service made you feel right at home. The vibe made you want to stay and relax for a little. Take some time and read this memo the owner has posted by the register. I should have taken a picture but the one line that stop out to me, If you need to vent do it because I will vent to you. I didn’t quote because I know is not just right but that just said so much to me about the place. I will be there again tomorrow. ??Ps. Got a pic of the memo also another chicken cutlet“

“(There's a pang of sadness when I see any of my old reviews that mention Clinton's iced teas. I guess I can find comfort that I drank entirely too many of them in my youth and even my own kids got to try them once or twice before the company went kaput.)Onward and upwards... it's now (almost) 2024 and while the the shelves are a bit more sparse than I recall and they got rid of their lottery machine (which seemed to bring in a lot of old-timers) - what I'm here for is their sandwiches.Specifically their #1 Italian. And I'm happy to report: they're still the best around.(And it tasted even better after a recent not-so-good visit to a Jersey Mike's in my hometown.)Besides their incredible subs you'll find the usuals (chips, soda, ice cream) and a few random items (aspirin, Chapstick).Cool crew behind the counter.Good pricing for such a quality product.Trying to find parking is still a nightmare.'Enjoy every sandwich.' -- Warren Zevon(No truer words were ever spoken.)“

The waiter was very nice too and was very patient with my family and I and all of our questions. Just be prepared if you go because the portions are enormous! They have gigantic sandwiches, huge burgers, amazing huge cakes and so much more. The menu is huge as well and having tasted what everyone got I'm absolutely certain that their whole menu would be delicious! I will definitely go back here and I would highly recommend you coming as well!Parking: Plenty of spots 20+Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family friendly restaurant, the ambience was a very homey everyone's welcome feel!“

“Above everything, the service is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and patient with your questions (especially if you are unfamiliar with polish food or language). I do not hesitate to ask about the various sausages hanging over the counter or the assortment of dishes in the cooler. I have never had anything I didn't like here, though we love the pierogi's, especially the sauerkraut and mushroom, the kielbasa and kolbanosi, and the cabbage rolls (golumbki, halupki, Toltott Kaposzta etc..). We even recently bought sliced ham (like for sandwiches) and it was amazing, think sliced ham from your holiday ham, not the over processed stuff at the grocery store deli counter. Their sign doesn't lie, stop in, polish food is good!“

“Great polish food. I live 45min away and stop here for pierogis whenever in the area. From potato and cheese, to mushroom and even blueberry these are all best around. Also tried bean stew which is amazing. Bigos or hunter stew I guess is great ! Traditional dishes are also phenomenal around holidays. The bread is always fresh and probably best in the whole region. This is the place to shop if you're into this type of food.“

“I have to say, their quesadillas are rich in flavor and very well-seasoned. The quesadillas were made with flour tortillas that were warmed on a griddle, filled with cheese, and diced cooked chicken. It comes with a side of guacamole and a salad topped with Pico de Gallo. The portions and the combination on this plate are perfect. I’ve bought their quesadillas on many occasions, and their taste and presentation are consistent. Aside from their food, I can tell you that the staff in this place are truly kind, and courteous. They always greet you and always with a smile. Good customer service.“

“As an NJ ex-pat, I had been schlepping to the Hungarian Meat Center in Passaic for several years when I visited NJ, but when I wanted to have a traditional Hungarian Easter dinner for friends and family in Louisiana, I found they no longer shipped their products, but the European Deli did! The owner was lovely and was very happy to help me, and she shipped me the most delicious kolbasz! My Louisiana guests loved it, and given that local sausages are very good, that’s also a great recommendation! ! For me, this kolbasz tastes EXACTLY like what I remember from my childhood in the 1960s, so I recommend the European deli unequivocally! I suggest trying the hurka too, it’s excellent!“
“The owners are sweethearts; care abt their customers and locals, and their empanadas are fresh! (Wayyy better than A1-Market)They are cash only but they have an ATM (On Oct 14 their fee is 2.25)Really wide Arizona Collection with its own fridge!“

“Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Everything we have tried has been delicious. We just so happened to find this place when our usual spot to get sloppy joes stopped making them. Deli King - only one bad decision could be made…and that’s not to go eat from there or do take out and eat in the comforts of your own home.“
“It's a very nice deli to grab and go, or sit for a minute. My 1st time here but I saw the staff knew everyone who came by name. I'm guessing regulars, and it fits the atmosphere. I just added this place in my contacts, because I'll be back“

“This place is so damn good! The other day I ordered, Four Boys Deli 2, the other day for brunch. I ordered their Steak & Eggs Platter/ w Home Fries. It was absolutely delicious! I thought the steak would come chopped, but it came with 2 skirt steaks. The steak was seasoned so well. Was not expecting it to taste so good. The home fries were delicious as well, and they came with onions and peppers. I also ordered their Chicken Tamale on the side. The tamale was piping hot wrapped in the banana leaf. I really did not want to like the tamale, but by the end of it, I really appreciated it. The cornmeal could’ve used a little bit more salt, but at the end of the day it was really delicious! I’d HIGHLY recommend, Four Boys Deli 2, to anyone in the area and is looking for a great breakfast, at an excellent price (>$15 for both items ordered). The service is very attentive and the staff is really nice. If you’re in the area def check this place out!“

“Had the pleasure of stopping into Iorio Deli with friends Eric from Cultinary Road Trip and Tyler from Foodula. Had the chance to meet “The Boss” Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha.Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha). After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn’t get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it’s not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next!We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was “The Jocelyn” which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was “The Sloppiest Joe” which was a North NJ staple “sloppy joe” but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I’ve had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich. As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn’t Suck!“
