“Great store, my 8 year old son found this place while riding his bike around the neighborhood he stepped in to buy himself some candy the shop owner was very helpful he helped my son count out the money he needed (it was his first time going to the store on his own) and made it a great first experience for him. “Great desserts! We picked up two slices of tres leches, flan, and a concha. The concha was nothing to rave about, but the tres leches and flan were delightful. The tres leches was completely soaked in its milks, refreshing and rich at the same time. the flan had the right texture and flavor, not overly sweet.“

For example, the chicken dish is made with nuts and chocolate, but you wouldn't know unless your waiter/waitress tells you. More information would be helpful for 1st time patrons to make an educated decision in their food selection.But food was great, none the less. Server was patient and attentive. The place was exceptionally clean with a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered and were quickly served with some of the best dishes we've had in a while. “My new go to Birria and taco place. This place is unbelievable good. I have been trying to find a Birria place that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and I found it! The portions are big, clean, filling, and CHEAP. 4 tacos are about $14, compare to other places where I paid $25 for 3 tiny tacos. There is only chicken and beef, and as a person who only eats halal it made me soooo happy. I didn't have to worry about there being a ton of pork on the menu! This place is super lowkey, hidden from the world but super trendy and spacious inside. Definitely great for meeting up with friends to overeat great food. The consommé was hot and flavorful, and if you needed more of a kick, they had a hot sauce station! The staff was very kind and helpful with all the questions and when we came back for a second round of tacos! This is the type of place to order everything on the menu with your friends and go crazy. “We had a great meal at LaColina Mexican Cantina. We got seated pretty quick but we did get there by 6… got a little more crowded at 7 on a Saturday night. Food options were great as well as the drinks. Atmosphere was great also and there was a good amount of people there on a Saturday night. Just one down side… I don’t like that they automatically add on 20% tip on the bill. Tip should be based on great service and at the customers discretion.“

Will definitely make this my new Spanish go to restaurant. The Salvadorian Chicken Tamale was moist and dense, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. If you order the beef empanadas, ask them for their new homemade hot sauce. It's a perfect blend of sweet & heat to go with the pastry dough. Their plantains were a good addition of sweet to the dense of the meal. Their flan was the perfect size for a nice ending dessert to a very filling meal. Definitely a highly recommended place to get an excellent and very affordable meal.“

They went above and beyond to create a fun and memorable experience for us. They cut and served a wedding cake and also played the wedding song for my parents. I started with the red sangria, and that was tasty. I was a little disappointed because they had no red wine for my next drink, so stuck with the sangria. For my appetizer, I got the camarones scampi, but it was a garlic shrimp, and it was tasty. My friend had the fiesta platter and I tried it and it was good. We then had the shrimp tacos, which were delicious! For my meal, I got the red snapper, and my friend had the garlic shrimp dish. I really enjoyed the red snapper, and my friend enjoyed the shrimp. I congratulated her on the success of her business. Her husband and her opened this restaurant, and the one on 412 Broadway after many years of working at Hendricksons as a cook.
