Breakfast Restaurants near Roselle

“Ive been going to this spot since i moved to the roselle area in 1999. I used to go in the mornings before elementary school with my dad. We would get a breakfast sandwich (Pork roll eggs and cheese) and i would get a snapple to go. Fast forward 20 years and im still going to this spot well into my 20’s.This is quite possibly one of the best diner style breakfast spots in the county. And its so underrated and under appreciated. Im truly happy that this place has continued to survive throughout the pandemic.Its such a nice mom and pop type of affair. Where they truly care about providing the absolute best service and food they can.I normally order their pancakes with scrambled eggs and a side of french fries. Very fluffy pancakes, fully cooked eggs, and the Fries come very crispy and crunchy. The food in general is nice for those that are diabetic and need to monitor their salt intake. They dont over do it with the grease like certain diners do. Very minimal seating but i always tend to find a spot whenever i go with my girlfriend.Its gotten to the point where they ask for me whenever my girlfriend goes without me. Just shows you the type of caring people that run this place.“

“Had breakfast here early on a Saturday with a friend. Food was good for sure. However, EVERY person working at this restaurant attended to us. We had a hard time finishing one sentence of our conversation without being asked how things were or if we wanted more coffee. I'm serious, no fewer than 6 people visited our table. Our waitress, Marissa, was personable and helpful; she was taking care of us very well. The 1-star for atmosphere was because the OWNER came to our table and asked if we wanted more coffee. I declined, but my friend accepted. I swear she did this just to make him go away as Marissa had offered us coffee moments before and she'd declined. THEN WE OVERHEAR the manager giving Marissa a hard time because we ACCEPTED COFFEE. His assumption was that she had not been attending to us instead of understanding that women know that the male ego has a hard time with the word NO. Not only should management not be giving a good waitress a hard time, they certainly should not do it where customers can hear. Gross!“

I had the catfish and grits I loved the catfish could have ate two more pieces the grits texture wasn’t right for my liking that’s why it’s 4 stars and not 5 my daughter had the Philly steak bowl it was delicious.. The place was clean the food was hot , good , fast and priced right . We will return .Parking: The parking lot is very small you will have to find parking on the street .“

“My wife and I came here for Sunday brunch. We called ahead of time to put our names on the waitlist, so the wait when we arrived was only about 10 minutes. It would have been 30+ minutes if we had not. The maple bacon beauties are worth every penny. We ordered that to share. My strawberries and cream french toast hit the spot. It was sweet without being overly sweet. The maple syrup I could have drank straight from a mug. That's how delicious that was. My wife's Winter Pomegranate salad was equally as delicious. We'll be back.“

“I visit this place about once a month. The staff is friendly it gives a kind of homely ambience. The food is good I haven't had a complaint yet the prices are ok I feel like they may b a tad bit too much but with inflation in mind it's very reasonable. Nice size portions especially if you eat in.“

“My first time here and it has a very intimate feel to it, I came here with my friend and son!!If you plan on getting pancakes you only need one unless you are very hungry. “Stumbled upon this place by accident. I was HANGRY and wanted breakfast NOW. Driving towards another breakfast spot, I saw this place and pulled over. It is small and on a sunday morning it was pretty busy but tables seemed to turn over pretty quickly and I only waited about 5 minutes before I was seated. Seems like a lot of locals come here and are familiar with the staff. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I ordered an omelet with home fries and coffee. Coffee was great. Home fries were a little under done ( I like them crispy) but overall the food was delicious. They accept cash only so be prepared for that.“
