“I only get the fish from here which is Amazing and there pretty large pieces, they can be pretty salty but it’s good. I tried the tilapia before and it was also good because they ran out of whiting but prices are quite high just for 2 prices of fish. My family often gets the chicken and seems to like it.“

“Deninos has great pizza and is usually nice and well done. I will admit I used to love their calamari - it was nice and crispy. But over the years the have changed the recipe, now it is chewy and kinda gross. I hate to throw shade on this pizzeria because I have been going there since I was a kid but I want to leave an honest review. And I wish they would update their glasses instead. They are so small and you got to suck with these tiny red straws. I'll admit I am not a fan of that (but it is tradition). I love their pizza but I will say it used to be better than it is currently. The last time I went here was 2 years ago. It was for a family birthday party. Most of my family was surprised with how much the recipes changed. However we mostly order pizza and calamari. So I can't say how the other menu options are. All in all I will continue to go here just not as frequently as I used to. Because it is far from my home and it just isn't what it used to be.“

He asked for us to wait 3 minutes and he would bring us their specialty dessert. The food was so good. Will definitely return whenever we are back in area. “We just moved to the neighborhood & decided to drop in for dinner while on our walk. the owner immediately treated us like we were regulars and let us try a few different things he had on the menu. we ordered wings — lemon pepper, sweet chilli and garlic parm, an order of fries & a chilli dog! The food was amazing. “We found this place while working in the area and decided to give it a shot. Located on Lock St in Newark. The outside looks inviting with music playing and seating outside. Inside is newly built with plenty of seats and a bar area. The menu is all online as is the ordering. I ordered the Vermont rooster sandwich which comes with fries .. it's a deep fried boneless chicken thigh on a brioche bun with lettuce tomato and pickles with bacon cooked perfectly. My buddy had the cheese steak which he said was really good and he's a bit picky. Tons of cheese and a horseradish aoli spread. They have salads and pizza as well. Don the owner cooks everything from scratch and it really shows once you dig in! Nicely plated and priced right. They also serve dinner after 4 pm. “I had to come to a chicken shack when I got to Jersey, IYKYK. I read all the reviews about how good the pizza and chicken were and I had to try because it was close to my hotel plus they are open 24 hours. The cheese pizza was DELICIOUS. the cheese was sliding off with a nice crisp crust, just how I love it. The fried chicken was EVEN BETTER. Just fried to perfection. With perfectly seasoned French fries. Mannnnnn, oh man. It took about 10 minutes, there were tables inside. They all had soda, juice and ice cream for order. “We were in the area and stopped in for the first time on Saturday night after our x-mas pictures and I am so glad we did. We dined upstairs, they had music which is something they are planning to do on occasions throughout the winter. The owners are incredibly nice, our waitress was so sweet & super attentive. We just had a casual dinner with great drinks, wings and their specialty pizzas, all fantastic! My 6 year old son said they make the best wings & Shirley temples. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing.
