“It’s a subway… keep that in mind… and it’s not even a full subway, yet they still manage to always get my order correct and with a smile. Niro helped me today and other days and he’s such a great happy personality. Thanks for taking care of me as usual.“

“Ive been going here for what seems like 100 years. All the sandwiches are delicious, but what I keep coming back for is the Mac salad.its to die for and I’m pretty sure they sprinkle crack on it (just kidding) Everytime I go I make sure to get a large to eat and a large to take home. I used to work around the corner and I used to go twice a week….now I’m lucky if I have it once every two months because I’ve moved further, but every time I go I am a happy girl.“

“I had a pork roll with eggs and the eggs were cooked perfectly for a breakfast sandwich; jammy and just a little runny. Not enough to make a mess of my hands while I ate, but enough to sauce up the roll. Super delicious. They're also arranged on the sandwich so you get a bite of egg yolk in most bites, which is the optimal bite of a breakfast sandwich, imo. It's a cute little restaurant, too. Not a ton of seating inside, but the funky art on almost every surface of the walls gives you plenty to look at while you scarf down whatever tasty things you decide to order. I'm pretty confident it's all delicious, if the other food is anything like my breakfast.“

“Best Mexican food in town for sure. We just picked up from there for the first time and the menu is massive. Food was soooo good. The guy who helped us was super nice too. We got the birria tacos and enchiladas - 10/10. This will be our new go to!!“

“Our most frequented Jersey Mike's Subs. Located in between all our sports practice/game locations, this has become our go to for a quick meal. The staff here are friendly and they assemble sandwiches accurately and quickly. We order from the app a lot and every time our order is ready to pick up early. Tip: park in the back. The front parking is usually full.Parking: Lots of parking in the back. They have a back entry“

“First time eating this sandwich. The choose was the italian. The taste was good, rich with protein, but was not cooked due to a closed grill when i was there. The place is very old fashioned and like other places like subway. If you like and sandwich in a bun with a loy of condimented meat, you will love it.The quality is the high point and the quantity. They really matter to have an giant sandwich. The price, for me is above than other for the experience and quality.“

“Went in today and asked Kevin what the most popular hot sandwich was and he recommended the crispy chicken chipotle. It was indeed, the best sandwich ever. I also had the macaroni and potato salad, very delicious. Kevin recommended the Italian sub as a popular cold cut and will be back to try it ?“

“This store is my go-to after a day of driving and shopping. It is on my way home. I always look forward to seeing the workers with their smiles and pleasantness. Prices are reasonable and the store is clean. Plenty of seating. There is a large parking lot, but sometimes I'm not able to get a spot near the store and have to go to another part of the strip mall. Great location for this store and has been there for a long time.“

“Great place owner is pretty cool . I had a reuben and a Italian sandwich. The Italian sandwich was my favorite more than the reuben very fresh. Parking is very hard to find I would recommend calling in advance and placing an order. For two Reuben’s and a Italian sandwich came to $39. I would definitely say give it a try!“

“This review is a bit overdue, but &grain is the best! We had placed a catering order for our store last week and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. We wanted to do a staff lunch for ourselves, but weren't entirely sure what the best approach would be, so I spoke with John and he suggested a few items that were their most popular, which made it so easy.We got the Chipotle Chicken sandwich, Ham & Brie sandwich, Prime Rib sandwich, and the ABLT sandwich-- all of which were incredible. We also ordered an Apple Salad that was otherworldly. The blend of flavors and textures was sublime and we made short work of it.The star of the show, however, was the crookie. Half chocolate chip cookie, half croissant= all delicious. I don't think I can adequately put into words how incredibly tasty it was, especially when heated a bit.Looking for a biz lunch that will satisfy? Look no further than &grain.“

“Came here around 11 am on a Sunday and let me tell you. There were 4 people working and they all had the very best energy. I can’t remember the last time I encountered such friendly service workers. I rarely write reviews but I’m still in the parking lot writing this because they were so delightful. 10/10 recommend if you need to grab a bite with a side of cheer.“

“Fresh food from the bread to the meats and vegetables. Nicely made sandwiches that aren't sloppy. Needs to put more condiments, oil, vinegar and oregano on sandwiches to make them taste more like a sub. Make sure you ask them for those things if you prefer them.“
“If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“

“the hour n something minute trip is well worth it! I got myself a pizza bag to keep my food hot for the trip home! I'll make a few calls for orders for friends on my way home! The whole ensemble is perfect! nice n juicy peppers, onions and enough potatoes for that little side snack, a little extra grease to make the bread just right, not dry and dogs cooked to perfection! when you make the trip be sure to call friends to take their order! you know they're homesick and sure could use a great memory!“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“The two gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant. They have a decent menu selection. For the most part, it does not matter if you get a half or a whole sub because you’re not getting a deal by getting the whole sub. Example: most half subs are $7.99 whereas the whole sub is $15.99. There are a few where the whole sub gives you a $.50 savings. Today I did get a cheesesteak with extra provolone cheese, onions, hot peppers and a special hot sauce that they make. I’m glad I got the extra cheese because it definitely needed that and the condiments that were on there were very good. The meat itself didn’t taste like anything special but it wasn’t bad. It seems all of their cold cuts are Thummann’s which is high-quality. I do believe that the cheesesteak sub needed more meat. The meat itself did not even cover the bread end to end. One one end of the sub there was nothing but the bread by about 1.5” and 2” of nothing at the other end. So about 3.5 inches of the 16 inch sub was just bread. In all reality, I believe you are better off going with a half cheesesteak and double everything so you get a full sandwich with half of the bread. I cannot speak for any other sandwich as this is the first time I was there and the only item that I did purchase, as far as the entrée goes. I did get a small thing of potato salad, which was some store-bought stuff just scooped into little containers that was just meh. My meal of a cheesesteak, small potato salad and a Diet Coke can came to just over $20.“

“Been going here since I was a kid when it used to be a Blimpie. The inside of the store looks exactly the same as it did 30 years ago when my dad used to bring me here and the quality and cleanliness has remained the same. I've spoken with the owner a few times and he said he still uses the "Blimpie" bread and the same condiments. Also, the sandwiches are made as quickly as you finish saying what you ordered! I stop by here once in a while and I am never disappointed with my order. The roast beef with yellow American is still my go-to after all these years!“

“Food is good, they use Boar's Head, and their bread and fixings are always fresh.Cool people. Down to earth and chill.Super convenient spot, right on/off 1&9.Drinks and chips are a little pricey, and the selection is very limited. Also, worth noting the bathroom was very clean. But that being said, they're very busy, and it seems like there always needs to be like one more person working. Between our order, and the various uber eats and door dash drivers consistently in and out, the all of two people working probably made a dozen sandwiches in 15-20 minutes.Thing is, our sandwiches were really really good, both times we stopped here. We'll be back. Also, from a business perspective, this place has to be a goldmine. ?“

“The service and food far exceeded my expectations of this seemingly run down mini-diner. The buttermilk pancakes wer fantastic but what was seemingly only $4.55 for pancakes and $1.50 for coffee turned into $11 when the bill came! The extra charges were somewhat confusing but regardless, solid food and friendly service, definitely worth a try.“
“At the Jersey Mike's Subs Metuchen location, I must admit, I was initially taken aback by the long wait. However, my patience paid off when I saw the sandwich artist meticulously crafting my sub. What followed was nothing short of culinary artistry. I ordered my usual Jersey Mike's sandwich, and I can confidently say it was the best one I've ever had. It was so impressive that I regret not taking a picture; it truly resembled a masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in its preparation was remarkable. While the wait may have been a bit lengthy, the end result was worth every minute. If you appreciate a sandwich that's more than just food, but a work of culinary art, you must try the subs at this location. It's a reminder that good things come to those who wait, especially when it comes to crafting a sandwich this exceptional.“

“Today, I had a yen for Subway. Not for Wawa, or QuickCheck, but Subway. I hadn't been in years. Since going vegan, I go to such places very rarely, but especially subway. I remember when I was vegetarian, I used to go all the time and get a sub made with egg patty for protein, plus spinach, red onions, and BBQ sauce. Fantastic. Warm memories.I had hoped that, in 2021, I might be able to walk in and find a vegan protein option on the menu, but alas, it was not to be. But I ordered myself a veggie sub, with spinach, sweet peppers, banana peppers, red onions, tomatoes, and oil and vinegar on a toasted footlong Italian, with DP to drink.I'd planned to take my order to go, but looking outside, I saw that a giant thunderstorm was billowing water like there was no tomorrow. So I plunked down and dug into the target of my yearning. And it did not disappoint. I enjoyed eating this fresh, crunchy sub and watching the storm come and go.The only downer was that there was no one to way "thank you" to as I left.I know that Subway has had trouble building business in the last many years. "Fast casual" has affected the food industry in various ways. Perhaps if they can make a few changes, they can appeal to larger, fresher audiences again. Here are some ideas I have: vegan options, green messaging, get rid of the yellow color scheme (it's too 80s/90s), have cooler music, offer nitro iced coffee in one of those beverage tanks (which most people have without milk), switch to paper bags instead of plastic. Just a few thoughts.I guess something about subway still works, seeing as I developed a craving for it so many years later, and I'm glad I listened.“
