“Large place and perfect for a quick trip off OC if you're not looking for beach/seafood-type places. It's a sports bar/Irish pub with some upscaled traditional dishes. A bit expensive, but you're close to the beach and it is what it is. Great tap and canned beer selection and interesting drinks (if a bit strong, but that shouldn't be a complaint if you're not driving!). Watched Scheffler win the Masters here on 3 or 4 TVs. Service was good, everything brought out on time, drinks refilled, etc. Please, please, skip the Crab Trap and come here. That place needs to go.”

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM””

“Second visit only because there aren’t any locations near me, but whenever I’m in Atlantic County, I’m trying to get here! Clean atmosphere, polite workers and quick service. Only drawback today was they were out of coffee and I wanted a cold brew sooooo bad!? it was 7:30 and they were closing at 8 so ??‍♀️ but I wouldn’t hold that against them…”

“We came in on busy Bayfest morning. We were sat immediately and greeted by our server within a minute! We needed a little time going over a super cool breakfast menu. Everything was awesome and portions were generous!”

“Cozy little spot my friends and I like to visit when we're in Ocean City. It's mostly an older crowd but they have live music and we know the bartenders by name. Feels very hometown. Prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good!”

“The produce is always good quality so is the lunchmeat. If there is a problem they fix it right away. Some of the lower reviews here seem to be really petty as I've been coming here for years and everyone loves the place.Give them a chance and let them know an issue rather then leave a bad review. We need these small town stores!!! The larger stores really don't care.Not sure about the "white fol" review because the place is mostly Hispanic from what I see and they are ALL nice people and very pleasant here.”

“Fantastic restaurant! 4 friends and I were in OCNJ for a girls weekend. After looking at Yelp, we decided to try Joe's. Best choice that we made over the weekend. This restaurant is family owned and operated. Our waitress, Georgia, is Joe's daughter. She was so warm and hospitable. The entire staff is family! Now for the food! Chicken Parm was outstanding. I consider myself a chicken parm snob!. This was the best that I have ever eaten!! Chicken was flavorable and so tender. For pasta, I chose capellini, it was delicious. I also chose the homemade chicken pastina soup. It was excellent. They also put a basket of warm bread on the table, so good Friends were equally impressed. They chose veal parmigiana , spaghetti, turkey melt on ciabatta and chicken sorrento. All loved their meals. We were so full that we couldn't even think about dessert”

“Burger joint by the Stop N Shop on our way back from Ocean City and we're looking for something quick to eat. I ordered the French onion burger and wow...Gruyère cheese melted on the bun and with a dip on the side! There are so many fun burger options on the menu...& even a grilled cheese with tomato soup! You can also have a grilled cheese burger...grilled cheeses as the bun. Wow. such good burgers! Don't miss out on this spot!”

“this place is so good! We ordered at 930 when they close at 10 pm 6 rolls and they were so happy to take our order. Even though it was close to closing time the food was still beyond fresh. The inside of the restaurant is immaculate also.”

“We had pork belly Ruben, pork belly grilled cheese, crab cakes, cream of crab soup, shrimp appetizer and fried pickels. Only thing thay was a NO dont like was the fried pickels, they where cut to thick and had alot of breading on them. Everything elae was great!!”

“I always pass by the Custard Hut and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the birthday cake sundae. Service was quick, and there is a decent amount of seating here. The cake itself in the sundae was okay, but the soft serve ice cream itself was very good. I'll be back to try more!”

“I think I’d stick with their yummy sandwiches, which are very good. The roast beef is top notch, as is corned beef. The wings sound good but haven’t tried them. Something is off with the pizza. Is it the sauce? I’m unsure but it’s not good.”

“Serving Somers Point since the fifties, this is an outdoor venue that is open year-round, if only the prices were the way they were back in the 1950s lol, however they still make great soft serve and the peanut buster parfait!”

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. We all agreed it’s a one and done .”

“New Yorker Review. This place is genuinely very good. Food was on point and the service was humble. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and so was the chef. Small quick take out joint bring it back to the hotel when you are in the area next time. They make it spicy too. Curry chicken, kung pao, chicken broccoli, wings and fried rice is what we ordered. Bill $65 Overall we loved it.”

“Had breakfast everything was great except I ordered a home made cinnamon roll to go. 5.00. When I got it home I opened the box it was on and found a small hunk of dried out pastry. Most of the frosting was in the bottom of the box and the cinnamon was so light you could not taste it snd had to use a magnifying glass to find it. A cinnamon roll is supposed to be moist and heavy on the cinnamon. Don’t waste your 5 bucks on this 1.00 piece of dried out pastry with no flavor.”

“Sal's is a great place for family, couples, kids and parents. They have another room in which you can have meetings, banquets, birthday parties, or any other affairs. My son's team won the Somers Point Street Hockey Championship and we had our banquet and celebration there. The staff was very accommodating, efficient, fast, friendly and very attentive for anything that we needed. I will be going back to Sal's again.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I would think that pizza would be vegetarian. And then you had to add green peppers onions and other vegetarian items.Dietary restrictions: I'm not a dietitian, I think they have some gluten-free stuff not sure.Parking: You pull right off on route 9 they have on one end either an entrance exit and on the other end of the strip mall they have another entrance and exit. Parking was very very easy.Kid-friendliness: Well we had our 13-15 year old championship street hockey team there. There were kids all over. It's a very very friendly place to bring your kids, family, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, Uncle, Aunt, or cousins.Wheelchair accessibility: It would be very easy with someone in a wheelchair to get in and out of the parking lot and restaurant.”

“I must say Passion Vines went above and beyond for me today. I went in to grab a bottle of champagne for a friend's birthday basket I was making, and it all went up-hill from there. The nice gentleman Dave asked if he could help. I said I think I'm ok just looking for some bubbly for a gift basket. It went from my short response to him & the other 2 employees offering to help put my basket together in a festive way, and get it shipped out for me!!! I was expecting to do all the work myself considering I had purchased the other goodies elsewhere (those happened to be in my car), still had to assemble, wrap, and mail it. They told me to bring everything in, and they would prepare and wrap everything and get it out in FedEX the next day! Brooke did a GORGEOUS job with my items, sent me a pic of the final basket, and shipped it right on time! I do frequent this store for regular LQ purchases, however this was a different circumstance....the courtesy, professionalism and customer service was extremely impressive! Some of which you don't find that often anymore.”

“This is a favorite place for us. We get take out but the food is always hot and delicious. Tonight I ordered Large Chef Salad and it was awsum!! I recommend the salad to anyone looking for a cold entreeParking: I never have problem with parking in lot or on street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is available for Micchelli's. Also in winter months they have parking lot & entrance way clear of snow and ice.”

“I can’t believe I found this place on their last day of the season. The Buffalo wings are whole wings and are very large. The Buffalo sauce is amazing. We got the baked beans as a side which were good too. I can’t wait to go back next season and try the macaroni and cheese”

“It was a little loud to a Phillies game at the bar. Our server went above and beyond . I don't usually get gravy,but asked for it on the side. It came in a dish and I was able to bounce utensils on it. The consistency was a thick jello.Kid-friendliness: From the hostess to the server excellent”

“I go here all the time. The lobster is absolutely amazing! They have lots of cool fish on the walls and decorate according to the holiday. Servers are super friendly and speedy. I'd recommend the sweet potato fries! The dipping sauce is great :)”

Got to meet up with my 83 year old Uncle/GODFATHER who is still sharp as a tack. had a couple drinks and crabcake sandwiches and other food,with my brother and my girlfriend. really enjoyed the place always a good place to meet up with my uncle.”
