“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“Stopped by Smitty's Clambar, a spot that's been on my radar given my globe-trotting palate. Ordered the fried clams, hoping for a standout experience. They were good, fresh with a non-greasy batter – exactly what you'd expect from a place known for seafood.However, considering the other local joints I've tried, Smitty's clams didn't necessarily stand head and shoulders above. Given the reputation of the place, I was expecting a bit more of a wow factor.The ambiance is nostalgic, and there's a lively buzz that speaks of its popularity. But be prepared: the wait was longer than I'd have liked.If I had to rate my experience, I'd hover around a 3.5 to 4. Not mind-blowing, but certainly not bad. I appreciate the quality, but for a place with Smitty's renown, I was hoping for that extra punch. Still, worth a visit if you're in the area, but manage your expectations.All said and done, every place has its charm, and my journey's far from over. “We had pork belly Ruben, pork belly grilled cheese, crab cakes, cream of crab soup, shrimp appetizer and fried pickels. Only thing thay was a NO dont like was the fried pickels, they where cut to thick and had alot of breading on them. Everything elae was great!!“

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. We all agreed it’s a one and done .“

“New Yorker Review. This place is genuinely very good. Food was on point and the service was humble. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and so was the chef. Small quick take out joint bring it back to the hotel when you are in the area next time. They make it spicy too. Curry chicken, kung pao, chicken broccoli, wings and fried rice is what we ordered. Bill $65 Overall we loved it.“

“Great local spot! The shrimp and grits were really good. The Short Rib poutine was tasty but a little salty. Great service! I'll have to go back for some tacos. Plenty to choose from.Parking: The parking lot was right across the street.“

“I can’t believe I found this place on their last day of the season. The Buffalo wings are whole wings and are very large. The Buffalo sauce is amazing. We got the baked beans as a side which were good too. I can’t wait to go back next season and try the macaroni and cheese“

“I go here all the time. The lobster is absolutely amazing! They have lots of cool fish on the walls and decorate according to the holiday. Servers are super friendly and speedy. I'd recommend the sweet potato fries! The dipping sauce is great :)“

“Enjoyed our time there right on the water at crabby jacks, watch the boats go by and the wave runners. Atmosphere was nice had a little band outside. Got to meet up with my 83 year old Uncle/GODFATHER who is still sharp as a tack. had a couple drinks and crabcake sandwiches and other food,with my brother and my girlfriend. really enjoyed the place always a good place to meet up with my uncle.“
