“Great spot a little $$$$ Good food.“

“Food was good even if the wait was a little long (20-30 mins on a weekday) to be seated because there was 10 of us. Once seated the waitress was right there and the food came out pretty quickly. It was very good and we all left satisfied.Parking: You hafta find parking in the surrounding residential neighborhood but we still managed to find a spot withing a 5 minute walk.“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“Landmark establishment. Mike leads a fantastic organization. Wether you want fresh local fish to go, great seafood takeout, or a fun evening on the laid back dock restaurant on the water, you can't go wrong here. My choice is to keep it super local and get the flounder but everybody has their own favorite.Kid-friendliness: Totally cool to take kids of any age. Dining area is very casual.“

“An absolutely phenomenal boil dinner prepared by Jay that was delicious, easy and a load of fun for my entire family! We can’t wait to come back to the shore next year and book another boil. “Went to Avalon Links for the Easter brunch buffet with my family since we decided not to cook this year. Best decision ever!!! The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere top notch with great views of the golf course. Our server was very attentive and friendly and kept our beverages coming, I had Bloody Mary’s with just the right amount of spicy. We will most definitely be back for the Mother’s Day brunch! Thank you for a wonderful family holiday experience!“

“WoW WoW WoW ! Today was my first time dining here and it certainly won’t be my last. Everything was incredible. Shrimp tempura for a starter and it was outstanding. “We had pork belly Ruben, pork belly grilled cheese, crab cakes, cream of crab soup, shrimp appetizer and fried pickels. Only thing thay was a NO dont like was the fried pickels, they where cut to thick and had alot of breading on them. Everything elae was great!!“

“Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. We all agreed it’s a one and done .“

“New Yorker Review. This place is genuinely very good. Food was on point and the service was humble. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and so was the chef. Small quick take out joint bring it back to the hotel when you are in the area next time. They make it spicy too. Curry chicken, kung pao, chicken broccoli, wings and fried rice is what we ordered. Bill $65 Overall we loved it.“

“The food was delicious. We started with a special salad and stuffed long hots. The salad was very tasty. The long hots were very good. My only complaint was that there was not much stuffing. I am used to having the entire pepper stuffed, but the stuffing only filled the top quarter of the pepper. For our entrées, we had chicken parm and the special pasta dish. The meals were delicious, but the special pasta was a bit over priced. There were three shrimp, two scallops and a small amount of crab meat. It was almost twice the price of chicken parm. Again it was delicious. They seemed a bit understaffed, one server and one assistant for an entire section.“

“We love Ike's and are happy to see it is still open in th off-season (weekends anyway). We have eaten here a bunch of times over the years and are always satisfied.The menu is large enough that there is something for everyone. Over the years, I've tried the fish and chips, the chicken Parm wrap, fish tacos, the crab cake sandwich and a few other things I can't remember. All of it is great. The chips are plentiful and very tasty.With views of the fishing pier and the ocean, what more could you ask for? Ike's has become a staple of our visits to Ocean City.“

“My girlfriend and I ate breakfast here during our vacation to Cape May in late August 2023. Ocean View is placed right along Beach Ave and only a short walk from many of the hotels.The ambiance was nice and we had a great view of the promenade and beach. It was pleasantly cool and quiet despite being a fairly busy late morning.I ordered the Meat Omelette with Hot Italian Sausage added with Home Fries and Wheat Toast. The Omelette was well done and there was more than enough meat to be filling. The Home Fries and Toast were perfectly cooked and perfectly accompanied the Omellete.“

“We eat here a lot when vacationing or visiting the OC area. Have never had anything that wasn't delish. My favorite is Seafood, and my husband is a meat eater and has tried everything from Steaks, lamb, kangaroo, and camel. My go to is scallops or coconut shrimp. If in area, try it you won't be disappointed. Save room for dessert, they are good too.“

The storefront was very clean and well organized. The seafood was fresh and looked great. The directions were clear and concise. I followed to a T and the results were spot on. “Ordered takeout. Shrimp & scallops, butterfly shrimp, and scallops and flounder dinners. All fried. Only a 20 min pickup wait time which is very good considering how crowded the island is this weekend. Everything was packed up hot and ready when I got there. Scallops were excellent, flounder was some of the best I’ve ever had in Avalon. The butterfly shrimp were a bit over cooked. Baked potatoes were huge. A couple of our orders had corn on the cob. Super fresh and delicious. (As a side note, I had tried to call Ricks Seafood in Wildwood. They were completely sold out for the day.)“

“I can’t believe I found this place on their last day of the season. The Buffalo wings are whole wings and are very large. The Buffalo sauce is amazing. We got the baked beans as a side which were good too. I can’t wait to go back next season and try the macaroni and cheese“

“I came here all the time when I was younger and this was my first time back in years! It’s our tradition to always get the Hawaiian chicken plate and they never disappoint! “I go here all the time. The lobster is absolutely amazing! They have lots of cool fish on the walls and decorate according to the holiday. Servers are super friendly and speedy. I'd recommend the sweet potato fries! The dipping sauce is great :)“
