“My fiance and I drove over a half hour to dine at Kinya. We've stumbled upon it once and enjoyed our experience and had to try it again. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff, unique and fun decor, and quality meals. We received complementary kimchi, it was nice and refreshing. We both ordered the spicy ramen but I was able to substitute tofu as my protein but a little annoyed I was charged extra for it. The ratio of noodles, veggies, and broth were great. The broth was less spicy than I expected but we got chili oil on the side that solved that issue.“

The fresh taste of the salmon was outrageous. The Taiwanese fried pork chop served w/cabbage and rice was so flavourful and juicy. It was as if I was in a private home. So many spices were used in the preparation it makes the pork chop a must try! Even though the trip was a 15 min circuitous journey it was so worth it. ?“

“This is an interesting little venue with very good Japanese food / sushi. It is not really a fusion but rather distinct menu items (sushi and French (?)). We only tried the sushi and other Japanese dishes and loved them. Service was good but the space is tight and seatings are limiting (6 or 8 pm) but definitely worth a trip.“

Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

“We ordered the mizu, kiss of summer, Naruto, jade, and Verona and they were all so fresh and delicious. Lots of fish and lots of flavor. I do think the mango could be more ripe though. Tap water also wasn't my favorite but don't let that prevent you from getting this great sushi. Although we couldn't have any of the sauces that came with the rolls since they had gluten, they did have GF soy sauce which was great. The server didn't have much personality and we did have to reconfirm what sauces had gluten and which didn't and had to ask for a second GF soy sauce as well even though in the beginning we did say there are two of us. Pretty empty at 5pm on a Sunday and plenty of free parking (on Sundays) around the corner.“

“I love sushi and have gone to a number of restaurants in the NY/ NJ area. Some big name places in NYC and northern NJ. My search ended when a dear friend suggested we go to Wabi Sabi. Since that suggestion , our family and invited friends go on a regular basis and we have never been disappointed. The sushi is the freshest and Tommy offers fish you are never see at other restaurants. They offer different specials every week based on the season. It is not just the fish but the presentation and experience. Alice and her staff are extremely attentive and add to the experience. The final treat are the desserts which alone are worth the trip ! The deserts are also based on the season and change. Bravo and never change“

“My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. “This place is pretty new and sits in a plaza with a parking lot and a few other food options so the location is great (unless you're indecisive on what to eat). I've never actually been inside, I've only ordered delivery, but it's been a 10/10 each time. They prepare everything so quickly that I usually get my order delivered in 20 mins which is insane! They also honor your requests - like for an extra couple dollars you can order extra chicken and they really give you EXTRA chicken (I mean look at the pic). I also asked for hot sauce on the side and I wish I would've taken a pic of how much they gave me. They were like oh you want hot sauce??? YOU GOT IT. Hot sauce for days. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from one of these spots. Flavorful, juicy teriyaki chicken with some nice veggies on the side. The rice always tastes fresh and the portion is perfect. I've ordered other items a few times like their shrimp tempura roll and their dumplings. They're delish too but I would definitely say the chicken is the star of the show for me. “Ahh this place is great! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was really great; very fresh. They also had a TON of veggie rolls and options. We tried 5 or 6 different vegetarian rolls and they were all delicious. And there was still a bunch more to try! The shop is small but doesn't feel claustrophobic; we sat in the corner and did not feel crowded by the other diners. The prices are very fair as well. Will definitely be back!“
