“My fiance and I drove over a half hour to dine at Kinya. We've stumbled upon it once and enjoyed our experience and had to try it again. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff, unique and fun decor, and quality meals. We received complementary kimchi, it was nice and refreshing. We both ordered the spicy ramen but I was able to substitute tofu as my protein but a little annoyed I was charged extra for it. The ratio of noodles, veggies, and broth were great. The broth was less spicy than I expected but we got chili oil on the side that solved that issue.“

“Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. As an added plus, there is a sweet $30 discount that is applied to all orders above $150, which is a fantastic deal if you're placing a large order.“

“We ordered the mizu, kiss of summer, Naruto, jade, and Verona and they were all so fresh and delicious. Lots of fish and lots of flavor. I do think the mango could be more ripe though. Tap water also wasn't my favorite but don't let that prevent you from getting this great sushi. Although we couldn't have any of the sauces that came with the rolls since they had gluten, they did have GF soy sauce which was great. The server didn't have much personality and we did have to reconfirm what sauces had gluten and which didn't and had to ask for a second GF soy sauce as well even though in the beginning we did say there are two of us. Pretty empty at 5pm on a Sunday and plenty of free parking (on Sundays) around the corner.“

“I have been around a lot, lots of places in the US and around the world, even Tokyo, and let me tell you, this place got to have the best ramen in the US, its taste and consistency are very close to the ones i tried in Japan, you will be delighted and satisfied. “My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. The restaurant was clean, the wait staff were friendly and attentive, even the bathroom was tidy. I went to work Monday and told all my coworkers. “This place is pretty new and sits in a plaza with a parking lot and a few other food options so the location is great (unless you're indecisive on what to eat). I've never actually been inside, I've only ordered delivery, but it's been a 10/10 each time. They prepare everything so quickly that I usually get my order delivered in 20 mins which is insane! They also honor your requests - like for an extra couple dollars you can order extra chicken and they really give you EXTRA chicken (I mean look at the pic). I also asked for hot sauce on the side and I wish I would've taken a pic of how much they gave me. They were like oh you want hot sauce??? YOU GOT IT. Hot sauce for days. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from one of these spots. Flavorful, juicy teriyaki chicken with some nice veggies on the side. The rice always tastes fresh and the portion is perfect. The prime meat is my favorite part. Island Kosher is reminiscent of Breadberry but slightly less expensive and a smaller mom and pop version of it. The hours are also so convenient. Driving to Brooklyn for kosher markets was a normal regular thing. Now I can just drive up the block whenever I need to get what I want.
