We stumbled in at the start of the transition from lunch to dinner so we were surprised by the dinner menu. Looking for a lighter option to share, we got the tortilla soup and tostadas de pollo. Just 2 tostadas (especially after tortilla chips and salsa) was enough to satisfy our hunger. The soup was flavorful and hearty with thick slices of avocado. Isabella's is a great breakfast spot cafe that transforms into an awesome Mexican restaurant at night! Stopped in there for brunch on our way home from AC this past weekend and as per usual, everything was phenomenal! She had the chicken cutlet sandwich which comes with spinach, roasted red peppers, and provolone. The Mexican-influenced menu gives Isabella's an edge over standard Shore brunch fare. Our dishes--Huevos Rancheros and Egg-White Veggie omelet--were served promptly and hot and, most importantly, were delicious! Appreciated the friendly, attentive service, too. Note: I'm guessing this cozy place gets packed on summer weekends, so plan accordingly. We were lucky to visit on a chilly, early-April day when tables and street parking spots were plentiful.
