“My boyfriend and I LOVE this place and has been our go to lately. We mix between the fried flounder, whole red snapper and fried shrimp- so good! The fried yuca is top tier in my opinion. The yellow rice is pretty good as well. Not too expensive and you get a lot of food.“

Ceviche de Camarones

“Absolutely the best hole in the wall fish market. The service is amazing and the food is made to perfection, depending on how you order it. This is a little hidden off of the known path "Bergenline". However, my family has been going here for two years literally once a week. You are treated like family here, set up your own stuff in the corner, and order the fish just as you like it. The fries are delicious and hot, so is the yucca. Previous reviews complaining on how shrimp or fish is cooked, you must learn how to order your fish here. Because it is literally just as it comes from the ocean! Definitely recommend this place.“

“I enjoy ordering takeout from here all the time. I have even had the pleasure of eating in person here. It is a cute little restaurant where the family who owns it manages the front and cooks. The chef is an older woman who comes out of the kitchen every so often to check on the customers. My dad comes in here often and is greeted as if he is family which is how I discovered this place and honestly it offers an at home feel from how I was greeted with a hug the first time I went with him. Now I recommend all my friends order, or order take out when I have company. My absolute favorites are the bistec a la pobre which consists of a skirt steak, rice, fried egg, French fries, and sweet fried plantains. My second favorite is the lomo salteado which is a Peruvian classic ! Pair it with an Inca cola or chicha morada and you can say you've dabbled in Peruvian cuisine.“
