The ugly side is I had a waitress that was a young Spanish girl with glasses which she took them off thinking I wouldn’t notice her face please run those cameras back and watch the whole thing to the manager! She did not give me my $4 change back which I wanted to leave a few more singles to add on for her tip but seems like she thought she could play with me maybe because I look “young” I’m in my 30s and from Newark so I did keep my cool and said something to the host which he was very nice!!! Hope the manager sees this and understands I love the food but the service was terrible and if it was up to me I would of went off on that little girl but to want to rob someone of $4 shows how broke and low life she was to do that! “An absolute gem added to downtown Berkeley Heights. Everything from start to finish was top notch. Rolls and garlic herb olive oil were tasty. Meatballs and coconut shrimp were excellent starters. Branzino was fresh and the red pepper sauce complimented the fish well. Braised short rib & vincotto chicken were very well constructed dishes. Pistachio tiramisu (homemade) capped off an awesome dinner.Service was on point throughout, very professional with smiling faces. We will be back without a doubt. BYOB and easy parking.“

Only bummer was that they didn't have the vegan chick'n that was on the menu online, but we got the Blaze Poutine and the Impossible Blaze burger. Our waitress was very sweet and understanding of our table that had many people that have not seen each other in a while, so it’s good that she had a lot of patience!Overall, the food was delicious. The ginger toffee cake is definitely a recommendation because of sweet tones, ginger, surprises and sticky texture. I loved it.The pricing is a little bit expensive but it’s definitely worth it. I had leftovers for two days and definitely had a great time. “We went in late night like 2am on a Saturday, after a night of drinking. The food slapped, not just for late night greasy food, but for any food. So much so, I went back the next day for lunch! The burgers are a generous size, creative, fresh, and plentiful toppings! The fries are ok. The milkshakes are great! Limited seating but let me tell you, at 2am there are some characters that come in, so get a seat if you can! The kids behind the counter are pleasant, quick, and are mature enough to handle the different types of people that come in. Highly recommend!“

“Went to the Linwood while visiting family from out of state on a Friday night. I grew up in Linden so I was excited to see how the place has "grown up". Nicer bar, cleaner and comfortable sitting areas than my youth and MUCH better food. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. It was a descent portion and very tasty. My only complaint was the cost but that cannot be helped since the cost of everything has risen. However, $18 for a chicken sandwich seems a bit high.“

“As soon as we got there we were seated, and given water. They didn’t have a 5 seating table so they put a four seating and a two seating tables together. They gave me the water very aggressively, it splashed out a little. They serve their drinks in mason jars, which is cute and adds to the vibe. The vibe in there is chill. They have pop music going not too loud but not too quiet. We got our food almost immediately after we ordered. Any of the fries are delicious. They didn’t have shirley temples for my daughters but they had a alternate option, which was nice and they said it tasted like iced tea. It was really good service, the girl was quiet to take our order though. The bathrooms were humid and going to the bathrooms was not super sanitary. It was good though.Kid-friendliness: It had a chill vibe. There weren’t many kids there but there could’ve been. Very kid friendly. The place was mostly sanitary. “First time having Hangry Joe's. Will definitely return! I'm a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken. Always a little skeptical of anyone claiming they make hot chicken when not in the Nashville region. Wow! I was very impressed! It's not Nashville, but not trying to be. It's more of a fusion. But don't hesitate, it's good! I got the sando at hot level. Had a nice burn and the slaw is a perfect compliment. The fry crisp was excellent. The chicken is flattened so it overflows the sandwich- you can get some bites of just this perfect hot chicken and then dig into a sandwich. At the time of our visit they had run short of bubble milk teas, but I'm sure they go well with the meal and I'll absolutely try it on the next visit.“

“Perfection in the food industry can only be perfected after some time has passed. But for over 75 years, the White Diamond Diner in Clark, NJ has exemplified itself for perfection. Let's just say that Ray Collins made the great decision to move to Clark to partner with his nephew to open and work in the current location. Without his contributions, the Clark White Diamond may not be as well known today. Granted, the diner has a stored history, starting with the Cox Family. Where they were opening up some of the original White Diamonds. The idea that the diner chain was Southern run and meant to be moved into NY is impressive. Alone that speaks that early on, these diners were trying to replicate the equivalent of a fast food restaurant today. Quick service, good food, and reasonable prices. All factors alone would drive people from miles away to visit this diner. So 75+ years later, this diner stands as great as it was before. Upon interviewing the owner of the Clark WD, I was pleased and excited to receive all of this information. I have also been told that most cooking is done with experience originated, but they do provide training for younger employees. There is a reason why this diner has been deemed one of the friendliest and family atmosphere diners. All because the owners were great to work with, and honored that a report was being written about their diner. If anyone is visiting or wants to write reports on good diners, I highly recommend this one. There is almost nothing bad to say about this diner. I have visited this diner twice already, and have nothing bad to say about this diner. Upon arriving, you pick your own seats. Though the space is small, there is plenty of seating. Whether it would be the 10-12 bar stools or five booth seats, there is always a place to sit. Within 5 minutes, you are ordering your meal. The best thing about this diner is, the waiters get to know your faces, where they will memorize your order after you state it. So that they are able to track you down after it is down cooking. All this happens within 10 minutes of you actually being in the diner. Soon the food arrives. I have ordered the double bacon burger the last couple of times that I have gone. It is one of the best burgers that I have ever gotten from a diner. The moment you bite into the burger, you are met with a rush of flavors, plus the test of a freshly cooked burger. The soft chewing of the patty with seasoning melts in your mouth. Eager to take another bite, then another one. Soon you realize that you finished the burger in a matter of minutes. But you don't realize that, due to the flavor rush that you taste. Don't get me started on the bacon. It is cooked to perfection. Grease runs off the bacon as you bite into it. With each crunch of a crispy slice of bacon, it adds to the taste of the burger as mentioned earlier. Overall, it is never expensive to get food from this location. I highly recommend visiting this diner at some point, and getting the burger that I mentioned, it is well worth it!“
