“This review is long overdue from me, as my family and I have been ordering from here for over 10 years. It is by far the best takeout Chinese food I’ve ever had, and undoubtedly the best in Union County. Also, can’t not mention that it comes at a great price too.“

“hi ok. i'm actually chinese and i know what chinese food vs takeout chinese is. and the number of disgusting comments is making me enraged.i think you guys are forgetting what "chinese takeout food" is supposed to be like. greasy, yummy, and inexpensive.y'all are complaining ab the oil when the prices are at least half of a normal restaurant.if their food is not to your liking and you'd prefer traditional chinese food pop off and go to an actual restaurant ig this is an american restaurant with chinese style food not actual chinese food like orange chicken doesn't even exist in china what're y'all thinking i see in the comments that they're getting orders wrong and i understand that but i work at a restaurant too and sometimes there are a lot of customers?? like gosh sometimes i walk by and i see a whole LINE of people waiting in the shop. one time i came in for a quick meal and i saw a bunch of orders stacked. if you guys don't ask to have your order repeated back then it's on you. phones can be staticky and people can hear the wrong things. at the restaurant i work at i always repeat back the order but ig some people are just really confident at taking people's orders?? idk what they're doing but if they don't repeat ur order just make sure u ask for a repeat idki also saw a comment about complaining about two women exchanging words in chinese like bro yes this is america but it's a chinese takeout restaurant what do you expect and if u think they don't know a single word of english please get out if you're gonna walk into a chinese takeout restaurant what are you expecting??lastly, "disgusting food". 1) i don't even wanna say how racist that is and 2) this isn't actual chinese food. sure i've had their lo mein and general tso's a couple of times and it's nothing like what i usually eat but "atrocious"?? "horrible"?? "couldn't finish it"?? personally i eat chinese takeout food when i'm feeling like absolute s**t and it makes me so. much. better. y'all know that feeling when u binge eat on unhealthy food when ur angry or sad? ever hear of that "just ate 2 quarts of ben and jerry's bc my boyfriend dumped me " cliche?? or when u go to mcdonalds and just shove 10 packs of frech fries in your mouth? do u ever complain ab the oil?? no bc it's mcdonalds and they're SUPPOSED to have a lot of oil. chinese takeout food is exactly like that. sure if u wanna invite ur friends over for some NICE, FANCY, and AUTHENTIC chinese food go right ahead and order from an expensive restaurant don't go saving a few bucks at a chinese TAKEOUT restaurant and expect it to be beautiful and michelin-star worthy.you guys don't even understand what chinese takeout food and yet you guys are still ordering it. sure it's a quick bite like mcdonalds but y'all are expecting MORE and you guys end up putting it all out on the employees. if you come in with your order complaining ab the oil don't blame them blame urself. and if it's the wrong order MAKE SURE that you have the right order before you pay and leave. and MAKE SURE you have all of your takeout bags as large orders tend to be split up into more than one bag.overall, i'm disappointed. i expected to find wonderful comments ab this place yet y'all are treating them like s**t.i hope y'all actually find this comment useful and have a nice day!edit: AND REMEMBER: THE CHEFS KNOW HOW TO MAKE AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD. “Have been there twice, once as 2-person party and the other time as a 10-pac. Really good service and very authentic food both times. Quality of food is consistently good. Their sauerkraut fish soup is unique as not only the fish itself, but also the soup is really good too. Also their Yunnan-style copper pot rice noodle is so authentic with large portions, very impressive even to Yunnan natives.“

“Food was amazing! The service was fast and the staff were super kind! Somebody I think was the owner was super sweet and kept checking in on us! The atmosphere is great, it's a cozy, quiet, little restaurant, perfect for a calm dinner after a long day! We ordered the peking duck and a couple soups, as well as steamed shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were amazing and so were the soups! We got a whole duck for $70, while a bit pricey it was worth every penny! I absolutely adored this restaurant and it will definitely become one of my family's go to Chinese places! Can't reccomend enough!“

“Big group dinner with friends. Definitely love all the food here. Stinky tofu pot is mild flavor so don't expect it like Taiwan style. But as a hotpot, it's good. “Excellent Sichuan restaurant. Authentic Sichuan dishes and great service. Take out only, but you can take the food and dine in at Tabaq Restaurant (excellent restaurant also - authentic Pakistani food) next door. Tabaq owners own Dragon Palace (some type of ownership). I usually do take out from both Dragon Palace and from Tabaq. Dragon Palace now serves halal food only.“

“Really good food..good quality ingredients for the price point..food took a while and wasn’t told how long and ended up waiting in the restaurant for nearly 25 min. It was busy, so can’t blame them, but would have been nice to know it was going to be a wait. The inside is clean, but standard setup. Chicken Lo Mein was great! Kung Pao chicken seemed to have more vegetables than Chicken, but still tasted great!“

“I rarely eat Chinese food and I choose this restaurant when I have to eat. When I tasted the food, I was surprised by the taste, which gave me a new understanding of this cuisine. Quick pick up and very kind service. Pricing is very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.“

“For a Wednesday night the place is almost filled. There was a mixture of tables with large parties and smaller ones of couples. Everyone seems to be returning customers which is a good sign. The five dishes we ordered were well prepared with appetizing taste. While their American menu seem to cover frequently ordered western fare, most of their Chinese dishes are listed separatly and only presented in the Chinese language. Our estimation is that everyone in the restaurant ordered from the traditional Chinese menu instead the one you are handed. “I live in Pennsylvania, but my friends ordered from here and now I'll drive all the way back, 80+ miles one way just to get this food. I've had so many different kinds, but this is the best place I've ever had food from. Obviously, we didn't try everything, but they're so super nice and the dumplings with that sauce omgosh can I please buy that in a bottle?Never usually liked those sauces, but it's banging!!!! I'd put that up against any other sauce. Super sweet and the soup damn I'm so hungry. Overall everything we ordered was the best we've ever had. “Me and my son had a chinese craving so we ordered here. Never been before. We shared and it was actually enough for us. We got the chicken lo mein which was sooo good. Not too greasy either, like the right amount of flavor/sauce. Beef with broccoli was also very tasty. They gave a good amount of beef. The broccoli was not soggy at all. Still had great texture. The almond cookies were also tasty. I also felt the price was good since I ordered on Uber eats. Definitely going to order here again.“

“Parking: There's little parking space on the street, but it's free and it's there. Though there's a time limit. Don't park in the street spaces if you are a student with a registered car, they will fine you for being in visitors' spaces.“

We never ordered from Rice Bowl before so we decided to try to large selection of food...chicken wings, wonton soup, egg rolls, beef with broccoli, bbq spare ribs, shrimp dumplings, mei fun, and shrimp in garlic sauce. I won't name places, but when I first moved to the area in 2010 I went to a different place for a few years but their food quality went WAY down (and way before Covid so that can't even be the excuse). Then I found another place who's food I liked but after Covid their prices skyrocketed.So I gave this place a chance and so glad I did. “It's great-tasting, well-made Chinese food. By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours.They have a great selection of different styles. All the standard stuff, plus Szechuan and Cantonese specialties. The prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice. I love that when I order delivery, the driver is from the restaurant, not some internet service.I used to think I'd never find good Chinese food in this area, until I tried Hop Hing. She told me I get a free egg roll with my order and said can I get a wonton soup instead? She said yes with a smile. She gave me an egg roll anyway. They were both hot and crisp on the outside while the vegetables in the filling still had a little crunch to them. Beef chow fun was good. The house special lo mein, fried rice and wonton soup were filling but very bland.“
