“It’s been since before the lockdowns that I have been here. At the time, the owner was selling and opening a new restaurant in South Lake Tahoe near my home, but that fell through, so I was surprised to find him and his son still here.He makes his own fries, which are AMAZING, as is the coleslaw, and I’m a slaw snob.My next door neighbor had the Rueben and loved it. She’ll definitely come back with her family as will I.Please support this family owned business. You won’t be disappointed!”
“I can't say enough great things about Daniel's! I had heard great reviews from many friends of mine and had to find out for myself. It was my husband's birthday, so I thought it was the perfect place to celebrate and surprise him with a night out. We were greeted as we entered and quickly seated at a quaint table for two near a window. We don't drink, but that didn't make the ambiance any difference for us. We were treated to nice cold beverages and water and menus to peruse with a new twist on the typical bread basket. We knew from the start, this was not going to be a quick dinner. It was going to be a nice enjoyable evening, where we could put our world worries away for a bit and experience dinner together and precious time together. We were welcomed by our server, Kristina. She was very attentive; not too much and not too little. The atmosphere was perfect for the birthday boy. He was one happy soul; from the beet salad, and the crab cakes, to the amazing scallops for him the veggies, and the risotto for me. Can I tell you about the amazing dessert? Oh my heck, banana bread pudding! My hubby was over the moon! Kristina and the rest of the staff made our first experience a wonderful one. We will definitely be back!”

“A charming Victorian-style restaurant that serves the most delicious Mac and cheese with bacon I've ever had. During my family's visit from out of state, we couldn't miss the opportunity to dine at the Pink House in Genoa. My Aunt thoroughly enjoyed her BLT, and the ambience was delightful. The service was impeccable, although the prices are a bit on the higher side, the overall dining experience was excellent.”

“Excellent food and preparation, worth the price. Charming modern rustic ambiance. A freak snow storm prevented eating outside but, come summer, it is the place to be. Lovely staff make it the dinner experience a pleasure”

“cracker pizza crust (like store bought pre-made pizza crust. cant say it was really any good. but was a fast dinner option and eatable.lacking flavor from poor crust and not best cheeses makes it hard to spend over 100.00 on two pizza's 4 non alcoholic drinks. we had the cheese and meat lovers pizza. we have never tried any other menus items so won't beat them up too much. guys your a pizza shop your pizza shop atleast you should not cut corners on quality like pre-made crust ,or older pre-made doe possibly.”

“Such a fun atmosphere - small, relaxed and upscale. The drinks were delicious, service was excellent and the band was so fun. I went with a group of 8 women for a bachelorette party and the band took several song requests and made the experience so fun. Having a reservation, especially for a large group, is essential.”

“6 of us had a superb meal. The server was attentive, but forgot to mention the rolls had powdered garlic after I had told him I had a intolerance of Powdered and dried garlic.. I ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was an appetizer, for my dinner and a dinner sized portion was served. It was delicious and I devoured the whole dinner. Will come again when we are in the are.”
“Food was ok. Heard about famous ginormous Cinnamon Rolls. They were nothing to write home about yes they were big. They might have been better if they warm them up prior to serving them was very hard to eat and dry”

“A definite must when spending an evening in Tahoe! The service was excellent, drinks good and atmosphere perfect. I loved their outside area that's a perfect escape if you get overwhelmed by loud groups inside. Will definitely be one of our new go-to's when in town!”

“Great first experience! Everyone was joyful, interactive, and very knowledgeable about their coffee! My wife and I both got cappuccinos with their Tahoe Joe dark roast, and while it was enjoyable, their House Blend medium roast was fantastic! We highly recommend trying them out on your next trip to South Lake! They’ll be a staple for us on future visits!”

“Visited on a Monday morning. The hostess had an attitude going; definitely not the kind of person I'd put at the front of my restaurant.Fortunately, it was uphill from there. Our server was attentive and he made sure we had what we needed. Food was good, portions were generous, and the kitchen accommodated a request we had. Restaurant is large, clean, and has a fun ambiance.”

“We had a small wedding reception here on August 19. We started in the garden until rain moved in and MacDuffs quickly moved us inside and upstairs. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was awesome and working with MacDuffs beforehand was great too. We were a party of 18 from Michigan and everyone was very complimentary! Highly recommend!!’”

“Tonight, we had the pleasure of dining at this recently opened, extraordinary restaurant. To start, we savored the sliders, and their taste was truly exceptional; I highly recommend them. For our main course, we indulged in the double smash burger, which was undoubtedly one of the finest burgers I've ever tasted. However, the Chilies pasta fell a bit short, garnering a 3.5 out of 5 rating. While not bursting with flavor, it does offer a healthier alternative. The ambience of the restaurant was equally impressive, with unique decorations that make it an absolute must-try. My overall rating is 4.5/5.”

“Went for dinner here on a Monday evening. It was fairly busy but not too busy to have outstanding food and service. First time stopping in after driving by lots of times on 395. Wish I had been there before as I didn't know what I was missing! The sushi was so good, and I have had great homemade sushi to compare it to. Very high bar to meet! Had the ala carte menu and ordered seaweed salad, Gardnerville roll, Mountain roll and Marlon's roll. More than enough for two people and lots of leftovers. Total was around $58. Had water to drink. You can sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs or sit at a table. Ambience is very clean and kinda plain but I was there for the food and can't wait to go back!”

“Only areas for improvement were that the bread we had to ask for was hard as a rock, and they could clear the table a little less aggressively (while you are still eating). Otherwise, it was all great and we would gladly go there again.”

Staff was able to answer gluten free questions.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread so all sandwiches and salads can be made gluten free.”

“Nice spot for lunch with a beer or cocktail. Great staff and the owner actively walks around the restaurant checking on her guests. She closed the blinds for us because she saw the sun shining in our eyes. The food was good, and the drinks were delicious. It's worth a visit in your in SLT.”

“My husband and I were in town for the weekend and needed something quick but with good vibes and (obviously) food. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! We sat at the bar, Travis took care of us and his service was incredible! The food is amazing the drinks are just as good and if you’re into gambling you can do that as well. We will definitely come back here any time we visit!”

“The town of Genoa Nevada. The oldest town in Nevada. The Genoa bar and saloon. It is a one of a kind old time bar. Its' history is rich. The decor and building much the same as a hundred years ago, alebit electricity, juke box, and pool table. The bar counter rigid and worn. Ginger the bartender was friendly and warm. For me a Budweiser and a couple of shots of makers whiskey.Square dancing night across the street. In all a fantastic time. A place you need to visit if you like history and bars with gritParking: Ample free parking lot and both sides of street.”
