“I asked for barbecue sauce initially and got only one. When I requested more, the server responded with, "Didn’t I already give you one?" It was frustrating because if I'm asking again, I clearly want more than just one sauce. This experience with the server tarnished my usually satisfying time at Popeyes, and that's disappointing.?“
“Popeyes was formed in Arabi, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, in St. Bernard Parish. It first opened its doors on June 12, 1972, as "Chicken on the Run". Owner Al Copeland (1944–2008) wanted to compete with Kentucky Fried Chicken, but his restaurant failed after several months. Copeland reopened the restaurant four days later as Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken. By 1975, the company had been renamed as Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken. Copeland started franchising his restaurant in 1976, beginning in Louisiana. The chain expanded to Canada in 1984, and opened its 500th restaurant in 1985. B. P. Newman of Laredo, Texas, acquired several franchises in Texas and surrounding states. Two hundred additional locations were added during a period of slower expansion.By 1990, Copeland Enterprises was in default on $391 million in debts it had taken on in its 1989 purchase of Church's, a rival fast food chain also focusing in fried chicken, and by April 1991, the company filed for bankruptcy protection. In October 1992, the court approved a plan by a group of Copeland's creditors that resulted in the creation of America's Favorite Chicken Company, Inc. (AFC) to serve as the new parent company for Popeyes and Church's.[14] AFC went public in 2001 with initial public offering (IPO) of $142,818,479.[15] On December 29, 2004, AFC sold Church's to Arcapita (formerly Crescent Capital Investments) retaining Popeyes.[citation needed]On August 8, 2000, Popeyes announced a franchise development plan/agreement that included 35 new restaurant locations around Australia in a bid to solidify their presence within the Asia Pacific region. All were to be located in Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales. On June 17, 2014, Popeyes announced it had re-acquired full control of its seasonings, recipes, and other proprietary food preparation techniques from Diversified Foods & Seasonings, which remained under the control of Al Copeland and his estate after the creditor sale of Popeyes to AFC. Popeyes had continued to license the seasonings, recipes, and techniques from DF&S for a yearly 'spice royalty', before buying them outright for $43 million. DF&S remains the main supplier for Popeyes until at least 2029.“

“For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would leave a less than stellar review for Chubby's. One of my go-tos is the crispy, delicious fried chicken, with a side of Cole slaw and their fluffy biscuits. Plural because I always get an extra biscuit because the flavor and texture are excellent. My other fave is the juicy, generously portioned burger. Cheaper than others in the 'hood and tastier than you might expect from fast food. The cherries on the top are the carrot cake and the friendly service. The interior is bare bones but it's clean and I always take it out so I don't care about the cafeteria feel of it. When you're just not in the mood to cook and looking for a treat, get all of the above and do something more fun than slaving over a hot stove.“

“We've placed large orders with this papa john's for several years (since 2018 - pre-pandemic) and they have been stellar! Their manager (Sonam) really goes out of his way to help us. We have gotten our order of yummy pizzas correct and on time every time... Deeply appreciated and love this Papa Johns!“

“Sign in the window said "4 for $5" - bisquit, three pieces of chicken. Ok. I wanted fried chicken tonight as a treat. I walked in, I said: 4 for 5. he said: spicy or regular. Regular. I paid, I got a box of really juicy tasty fried and ...well - just good chicken for a really good price (ok- nothing is a really good price these days...haha).Service was fast, pleasant, and accurate.YUM!“

“This wing stop is my favorite because their wings always hit the spot every single time. I ordered their garlic Parmesan bone in wings, mild wings, Cajun fries and Cajun corn. Everything was so good. The wings were crunchy on the outside with tender inside. The fries were seasoned so well and cooked perfectly. The corn was super savory with a kick to it. Their ranch dip is extremely salty but I couldn't help but dip my fries and wings in it. The location could be a bit cleaner since there are always a bunch of young kids hanging out there and it could also get a bit loud. The staff is friendly and surprisingly our food came out in 10 minutes. They have a spin the wheel where you can play after you fill out their survey using the code on the receipt. I won Cajun corn to take home which was great.“

“One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. They are known for their Detroit style square pies. Excellent soft dough with delicious sauce & cheese. The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“

“I've only ever gotten take out so I'm not sure about the wait time that others talked about. I've gotten the honey garlic and the special secret sauce, both incredibly delicious. I want to try all of their flavors! Boneless or bone in wings...either way you're getting a quality chicken meal. Would recommend to anyone.“
