“So it was our first time trying halal food and to be honest it was delicious. Very different flavors but everything worked really well together. Super fresh and had a strong aromatic taste. The meat was all tender and had great flavor. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try more. Thanks !!“

“I asked for barbecue sauce initially and got only one. When I requested more, the server responded with, "Didn’t I already give you one?" It was frustrating because if I'm asking again, I clearly want more than just one sauce. This experience with the server tarnished my usually satisfying time at Popeyes, and that's disappointing.?“

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Chicken • $
22-26 31st St, Astoria

“Popeyes was formed in Arabi, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, in St. Bernard Parish. It first opened its doors on June 12, 1972, as "Chicken on the Run". Owner Al Copeland (1944–2008) wanted to compete with Kentucky Fried Chicken, but his restaurant failed after several months. Copeland reopened the restaurant four days later as Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken. By 1975, the company had been renamed as Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken. Copeland started franchising his restaurant in 1976, beginning in Louisiana. The chain expanded to Canada in 1984, and opened its 500th restaurant in 1985. B. P. Newman of Laredo, Texas, acquired several franchises in Texas and surrounding states. Two hundred additional locations were added during a period of slower expansion.By 1990, Copeland Enterprises was in default on $391 million in debts it had taken on in its 1989 purchase of Church's, a rival fast food chain also focusing in fried chicken, and by April 1991, the company filed for bankruptcy protection. In October 1992, the court approved a plan by a group of Copeland's creditors that resulted in the creation of America's Favorite Chicken Company, Inc. (AFC) to serve as the new parent company for Popeyes and Church's.[14] AFC went public in 2001 with initial public offering (IPO) of $142,818,479.[15] On December 29, 2004, AFC sold Church's to Arcapita (formerly Crescent Capital Investments) retaining Popeyes.[citation needed]On August 8, 2000, Popeyes announced a franchise development plan/agreement that included 35 new restaurant locations around Australia in a bid to solidify their presence within the Asia Pacific region. All were to be located in Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales. On June 17, 2014, Popeyes announced it had re-acquired full control of its seasonings, recipes, and other proprietary food preparation techniques from Diversified Foods & Seasonings, which remained under the control of Al Copeland and his estate after the creditor sale of Popeyes to AFC. Popeyes had continued to license the seasonings, recipes, and techniques from DF&S for a yearly 'spice royalty', before buying them outright for $43 million. DF&S remains the main supplier for Popeyes until at least 2029.“

“I would have to say as far as hamburgers at a fast food joint is concerned. The flame grilled flavor of Burger King does appeal to me more than McDonald'sParking: The only thing difficult about this particular Burger King is that it is in a busy intersection but parking is availableWheelchair accessibility: They have a parking lot so there is wheelchair parking“

Chicken Sandwich

“For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would leave a less than stellar review for Chubby's. One of my go-tos is the crispy, delicious fried chicken, with a side of Cole slaw and their fluffy biscuits. Plural because I always get an extra biscuit because the flavor and texture are excellent. My other fave is the juicy, generously portioned burger. Cheaper than others in the 'hood and tastier than you might expect from fast food. The cherries on the top are the carrot cake and the friendly service. The interior is bare bones but it's clean and I always take it out so I don't care about the cafeteria feel of it. When you're just not in the mood to cook and looking for a treat, get all of the above and do something more fun than slaving over a hot stove.“

“Pita Pan catered a 30th birthday party for my best friend and I. The whole experience from beginning to end was seamless. I called to place the order 6 days before the party. The person on the phone was really helpful explaining what to order for the amount of guests. I received two follow up calls confirming my order. The delivery arrived on time and they included so many sauces, pita, and lemons! The food was delicious and gave everyone a perfect meal for drinking! Highly recommend using Pita Pan for you next catered event!“
