“Celebrated our anniversary. Our waiter Daniel was amazing. So attentive and explained specials and gave great recommendations. Food was great as well. Had the Lychee Leche cocktail, insignia salad, coconut shrimp sushi roll, porterhouse for two with the black truffle mac and cheese with lobster. And vanilla bean crème brûlée for dessert. Food was amazing. Live Dj playing the atmosphere was great. Would love to go back again.“

“An elevated dining experience that allows you to enjoy a well seasoned meal in a relaxing atmosphere. There is a main entrance as well as entry from within the mall next to Johnston and Murphy store (the wing of the mall where The Apple Store is). The servers are pleasant and polite. Service is very prompt even when it is quite crowded. This place can be great for birthday group events, date night, early dinners, late dinners, light dinners, brunch, bros night out, girls night out, business lunches and dinners can be done here as well. When dining, patrons love to recommend dishes on their way out and that is wonderful to know that you would enjoy the exchange of tasty food in a relaxing vibe. Have fun!“

“As a foodie who frequent NYC for sushi, I can genuinely say that this place has one of the freshest fish. The price is also very good for the food and service you get. We got the toro carpaccio (highly recommend), salmon tortilla (also really delicious) and for entree we got the salmon Don, rainbow Naruto and crazy salmon. Everything was delicious.“

“Ordered take out for our first visit to Mugi. Excellent customer service. Dinner for 3 was reasonably priced, with tax $62.00. I forgot to take pictures before serving our dinner, was so excited to enjoy it! Bento box teriyaki chicken was well prepared, large serving and included tempura! I ordered sushi: eel avocado roll and spicy tuna roll. Very well prepared, even flavors in each bite, fresh. Reasonably priced. Our birthday boy son who selected Japanese dinner ordered tonkatsu, that was also well prepared. I will def go back to try specialty rolls. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons, 1. the salads served with bento box and tonkatsu combined did not equal the amount of one lettuce leaf. They were so small that 1 tsp of dressing was too much. 2. half of the flimsy plastic lids that covered our aluminum food containers were broken. We had 10 containers. That's a lot of broken lids. It was disappointing. Better packaging is warranted that can withstand the heat of the food and then being stacked in a take out bag. That having been said, the quality of the food is worth visiting Mugi again. I will try dine in for sure.“

“Came here on a casual night drive and by dinner time we didn't know where to stop to eat. We were driving on the 27A and looking for places for dinner and we came across this place with very good ratings. Food is very good and well made. The Miso soup was not overly salted as some other Japanese places I've been. The décor is very typical of Japanese as it has these semi private booths which I have never seen before in any Japanese restaurants. Really liked this place and service was attentive. Even though it's a bit far from where I live I will def stop by when I am near this establishment.“

“We happened upon this place and we love it. What I like most is that my husband can get the all you can eat and I can just get one roll and both people do at the table do not have to get the all you can eat. The portions are generous. Place is comfortable. They do not have enough handicapped accessible parking spots though lot is small for the number of businesses in the shopping center“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of dining at this phenomenal Asian fusion restaurant, and it exceeded all of my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a memorable culinary journey. The restaurant's ambiance was a perfect blend of modern sophistication and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy yet upscale setting that was ideal for a special night out. Now, let's talk about the food. Wow! The Asian fusion menu was a delightful fusion of flavors and cultures, and every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. From sushi tacos that tantalized our taste buds with their innovative combinations to perfectly executed traditional dishes with a modern twist, each plate was a work of art. It's evident that the chefs here are true culinary artists who take immense pride in their craft. The extensive drink menu perfectly complemented the food. The cocktail selection was creative, and I was particularly impressed with their signature drinks that paired flawlessly with the diverse flavors of the dishes. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and their recommendations were spot-on. They were attentive without being intrusive, making us feel like valued guests throughout our dining experience. And let's not forget about dessert! The sweet offerings were the perfect ending to our meal. I can't stop thinking about the fusion-inspired desserts that left us craving for more. In conclusion, this Asian fusion restaurant is a culinary gem that should not be missed. It offers an extraordinary dining experience with its impeccable food, superb service, and stylish ambiance. Whether you're an adventurous foodie or simply looking for a fantastic meal, this restaurant has it all. Five stars are well-deserved, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their tantalizing menu!“

“As usual i was in a new area so decided to try a spot out. Reviews for this spot were ok so i gave it a shot. I had the 3 rolls lunch special. I cant even lie them thangs was niceeeeee. Love me some sushi rolls so finding a random good sushi spot means a lot. Def would come back here if I'm in the area. Till next review. Y'all be cool how y'all be cool“
“An undefeatable classic, the Chicken Teriyaki is food of the Gods and is hard to beat. Try as you may to replicate it at home, it won't taste as good as it does here at Little Tokyo, formerly known as Sarku Japan. This even beats out other malls with similar stores. The beef teriyaki is not as good, but interesting for a change. There can be a bit of a language barrier if you're asking for something odd or in the wrong fashion (I still recall years ago having a manager legit confused and annoyed with me that I referred to "beef" as "steak") But once you know how to order, it's a smooth, systemic process. The new young lady there over the past few years has been pretty solid with the ordering process as well. The secret is asking for that extra dollop of sauce at the end. Little Tokyo - Ichiban!“

“After reading the reviews, I was a bit surprised at the negativity. The AYCE is truly AYCE and the food arrives promptly. The staff are very friendly and check on you frequently. For the price, the selection is very good and the sushi is fresh. Furthermore, they don't overload you on rice like some AYCE sushi places do. Obviously it is not going to be Michelin or quality, but every dish was beyond palatable and you definitely get your moneys worth! I would say the AYCE is a must try in the SB area.“

“I grew up going there. I always liked it. I would get the chicken and broccoli with white sauce, white rice. I would get wonton soup and shrimp roll. It's been there over 30 years. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

“I'm really glad I found this sushi place near me. As far as sushi is concerned what would you be looking for? Cleanliness certainly, unique and traditional sushi rolls, and friendly service. Wild Ginger does hit those marks. If your in the area, live nearby, I'd say give this a go. I was super happy with our waitress who was really helpful and really nice.“

“Ohmygosh! What a wonderful experience! I had a long day traveling, and was too beat to cook so I called my husband and asked him if he wanted to go out for Chinese tonight. He said OK, and I wanted to go o.the Golden Star. He said that was fine..Well, it was better than fine...the atmosphere is lovely, a bit noisy but it was people having fun noisy...The food was outstanding and plentiful. Compliments to the chief! I have lots leftover!!! Our server, Hun was a delightful young lady, very sweet, and attentive. And the bartender, Dana makes a "killa" Bamboozled drink that is delicious. A fun group was at the bar as we were leaving and I had to say what a great time we had.We definitely will be going back! They don't allow for more options of foods to recommend! All I could check off was Won Ton soup!!! Waaaaaaay more to recommend!“

“This was a great sushi restaurant they really took their time with everything. (Meaning they made sure the food was right) I am gluten free (not by choice) so getting the order right was half the problem. All of the plates came out at the same time minis the soup but that's fine. I tried a lot of food there and it was delicious ? I am very happy with the food.“

“We have had a couple of our regular haunts for sushi, and had a menu from the mail from Mizu, so we ordered to-go. The selection was better than many of the surrounding sushi joints in nearby towns, and it the rolls were better overall. Prices were a bit less, but it also helps that they give a 10% discount for online ordering. And, online they also gave a free appetizer if you were over $50. The garlic roll was interesting, and unique, and the menu has a decent number of non-tempura (fried) cooked rolls which is a nice change also. Inside the restaurant there was only a couple of tables, so they probably do most business to-go.“
