“A great place to try Taiwanese food with a slight modern twist! Definitely get their popcorn chicken and celtuce salad! The popcorn chicken is dusted with delicious seasoning and topped with a not-too-sweet hot honey. It's not like the popcorn chicken you get at a boba shop, but it's so delicious. Easily my favorite item. The celtuce salad had a strong peppercorn and mala aroma to it, but wasn't spicy. It had a nice vinegar flavor and paired well with other entrees. The fried rice was good but was made up of mostly cabbage/vegetable. The beef noodle soup was my least favorite item, but was fine. It lacked the classic beefy, savory flavor that I typically enjoy in Taiwanese beef noodles.“

“I had a blast here this past Saturday. We held a bday get together here and it was so much fun! First off they do separate tabs. Heaven! I had the Brussels sprouts and the steak frite w chimichurri sauce and it was so delicious and filling. The Shark Sandwich cocktail…ok I had like 5 of these, tasty as heck! The crowd was super chill and the dj was spinning music that made us move more and more as the night went on. Can’t recommend this spot enough, can’t wait to be back! Also…Kevin our server is the GOAT. Nicest guy and dealt with 13 people, separate tabs with ease.“

“This was the best Mexican I've had in Park Slope. I had the chicken and my girlfriend had the steak. Both meals were delicious, but I'd say the chicken was the best chicken I've had in years, hands down. Juicy with crispy skin and delicious sauce. The service was slow (took 40+ minutes to receive our food after ordering), but that's probably because we didn't get drinks or apps. Both looked great, but not for us. The vibe is a little loud, but great decor with very pleasant energy. Looking forward to bringing my parents here when they visit next time.“

“Came here on a Saturday night and it definitely has a cozy vibe with the dark wood and dim lighting; good spot for a date or hang with friends. Was able to be seated in the back and they were playing the fight on tv, which was nice, albeit makes it feel a little more casual.Kitchen was open till 11, which was great. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and the kale Caesar was good, but would say go for the sandwich/ burgers. Would definitely come back.“

“My favorite ramen joint in New York! Go here on a jazz night if you can, because the ambience with the artists is even more incredible. This is my 3rd time here, and while everything is great, I’d specifically recommend: spicy ramen, spicy tsukemen, oysters mp, and mango kakigori. Between the freshly made noodles and flavorful broths, all of the noodle dishes are the perfect cozy meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the oysters, which came with a yuzu mint vinaigrette that added a bright vibrancy to each oyster. Don’t shy away from getting dessert the end! The shaved ice is a great way to end on a refreshing note without feeling bogged down by sugar. Note that this place fills up quick, so reserve in advance or come early to beat the wait. “Very efficient service - friendly & helpful. Loved the slice with arugula and Kalamata olives. The crust was so delicious! I also tried the XXXL but found it to be very greasy; it probably wasn’t good for my waistline either, but #YOLO ?“

“A couple of years ago I just moved right near this pizza place and I got lost. I was very young and just moved to the States. My family told the manager they had lost me and she got the entire restaurant to get up and search for me. I can’t thank them enough. The food is superb and it’s my favorite pizza place in New York. The people are super nice never rude and always has a good vibe. I’ve been going to this place for 5 years and I never have a bad time.“

“Excellent food, though definitely on the expensive end for Mexican food. Their beet + avocado salad is exceptional, as well as their guacamole. I know some people have reviewed complaining the portions are small but Iended up with leftovers and the guacamole was definitely a 2 person serving. Our server and the host were both so nice and attentive. Could have been that we were there very early on a rainy Tuesday for dinner and therefore were the only ones in there. But either way the service was excellent.I've been multiple times before and when it gets busy it gets BUSY. I would avoid this place for brunch and busy weekend nights unless you want to be crammed into a place with loud pumping music and where the full party needs to be present to be seated even though there's nowhere to wait.Vegetarian options: They have a fully veg menu upon request.“

“Akimori on the upper east side is a delightful culinary experience. The fish was extraordinary and the presentation was amazing. The vegetarian option could use a little more creativity. We had the restaurant ourselves, and it was like having a private chef. Kudos to Paul who made us feel so welcome.“

“The food here is delicious. Service is slower than usual so if you are picking up an order expect to wait 30-40mins from when your order is placed, but they are a smaller mom&pop place so I am more forgiving of that. Goat curry was delicious and so were the jerk wings. It is worth the wait and I will definitely be back.“

“All right, so when it comes to good food, I'm all about the vibes. I was put on to this Haitian food spot on the way back from Dumbo looking for quality food outside with that home cooked vibe and I'm so happy I stopped by. Food: I got the poulet in sauce with rice and beans ----IT SLAPPED !!!!!!!!! The pickliz was one of the best I have ever tasted & the bunnan was so fresh and tasty I suggest you dipping it in the chicken sauce LAWD A MERCY! Lol I posted a before and after pic of the plate because I want you all to know how Good it was lol and it's definitely shareable I split it with someone else and it was perfection Ambiance: It's a small restaurant, has seating but not a lot of people and I personally didn't go inside to pick up the food but I heard the owner is sweet. I guess that goes with service as well I heard they look out for you especially when your Haitian so much respect although I'm not Haitian it's a good look to look out for your people no matter what background. Don't forget to put the sauce on the rice and beans and the pickliz on pretty much everything. I won't point you in the wrong direction Must try if you're looking for good Haitian cuisine for a good price...I forgot to mention they only take cash and for this good meal it came to 10$“

“Great curry house with delicious food! We tried the Lamb Madras and the Chicken Signature Masala with naan. Surprisingly, Rice did not come with the curries, but we were able to get full so we didn’t miss it. ?Kid-friendliness: We came as a family for Mother’s Day, and they were very accommodating for our baby stroller. The only negative thing would be the tv. It was not kid friendly, and the waiter kept turning up the music which did not help the experience.“
“One of the best bodegas I've been to in NYC, hands down. Stocked with great options as a bodega, clean. The staff is also friendly and you'll see neighborhood locals come in and chop it up with the staff all the time. The sandwiches here are FANTASTIC. Prob my fave Chopped Cheese in NYC. Shoutout to Sam behind the counter who always gives the best service and sandwiches. Big love to this place for also holding it down for all hours of the day, whether it's a Chopped Cheese after a night out, a quick grocery pickup, or a lunchtime Chicken Parm sandwich grab. This place does it all.“

“The cashiers were nice and very patient. After a long time of staring at the menu I ended up ordering the #4 combo. Waited for 15 mins before the food was served, and was pleasantly surprised with all the food that I got. The Buffalo tender fries were delicious and had a generous amount of tenders and fries. The mozzarella sticks were nicely sized, perfectly fried, and filled with cheese. The pickles were fresh and helps neutralize all the fried food. Lastly, the sandwiches were good, the vegetables were fresh, but the chicken was lacking in flavor and had some dark color breading on it which made it taste slightly bitter. And because of that, I had to deduct one star. But overall, excellent value for excellent food!!“

“Fantastic hidden gem of a thai restaurant!Extremely well-lit, clean, and orderly appearing the moment you walk in. This probably isn't the ideal setting if you're looking for a "restaurant style experience", but there are several small tables you can sit down to eat at. It seems the majority of the business is take-out.I have ordered several times in recent weeks. And the food was delicious! I tend to order the spring rolls, as an appetizer, and my favorite dish, Kee Mao with Chicken (this is often known as "Drunken Noodles") as my main course. I have also tried the Pad Thai, and a few other items on the menu.Absolutely tasty, hits the spot, reasonable pricing, and super-quick.One other thing.. and this is the most important; outstanding, incredibly pleasant customer service. I was greeted warmly upon entering, and was thanked very sincerely as I received my order....with a smile. This means alot to me, and helps me decide where to spend my money. They deserve it here.If you're used to ordering Chinese Take-out all the time, and want a real change of pace, make the switch! Give Thai Tai a try!“

“?????I can't get enough of this poke spot! Seriously, it's become my go-to whenever I'm in need of a satisfying and healthy meal. The bowls are incredibly filling, and I love how they strike that perfect balance between nutritious and delicious. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe and the staff. Sho, who works there, is an absolute gem. Always with a smile, always welcoming, and can we talk about his music taste? It's like he has a direct line to my playlist! Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of fishiness, but here, they nail it. Not too fishy at all, just the perfect amount of flavor and kick. I'm seriously craving it just thinking about it.Count me in for another visit soon! ?“

“Had the Island Storm and Green Vibes minus the honey, smoothies…they were just right and refreshing on a hot sunny Summer afternoon. Also had the jerk plantain, ackee, and callaloo Patties. They were flaky, light, not overly filled, not greasy, satisfying and tasty. Nice for quick bites on the run or chilling at home. I dined in. Just really cool vibes on a hot day.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Focaccia Pizza in Brooklyn, and it was an absolute delight! This pizza joint specializes in personal pies, and I must say, it's a game-changer. The highlight of the experience for me was undoubtedly the incredible taste of their pizza crust!Focaccia Pizza takes pizza-making to the next level with their real brick oven. The crust, perfectly cooked in the oven, has a unique flavor and texture that sets it apart. The dough they use is simply outstanding and adds an extra layer of deliciousness. Every bite left me wanting more.If you're a pizza lover in Brooklyn, Focaccia Pizza is a must-try. I can't stop thinking about the amazing pizza I had there, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone craving the best personal pies in town!“

“I never realized this place was so close to where I lived. I heard the Indian spices were a nice twist to the dishes they served. Started with the dosa, the chutneys were good. The steak was very buttery, but I didn't get much unique flavor aside from the peppercorn. The fries that came with it were great, nice and crispy. The jerk chicken was tender, but not as spicy as I would have thought. I did like the pickled vegetables to change up the flavors. Interesting concept, but I think they could have taken a little more risk with the flavors.“
