“I was recently at Sushi Na-ra and I wish I could give the establishment more stars. The food was excellent but what really stuck out to me was the service. I have never received better service at a restaurant. The atmosphere was kind and our server frequently checked in. Will definitely be returning.“

We started with a white miso with soft tofu and seaweed before having beef tataki, which was tender and perfectly flavored with scallions and their house sauce.Japanese couple running the front of house, kitchen and sushi bar. The wait for the sushi, which we chose a la carte, was worth every bite. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fish was fresh. We had the eel and avocado, yellowtail, tuna and salmon rolls. Our favorite was the yellowtail as it was so flavorful and fresh tasting by comparison to other times we have eaten it at other restaurants. The service was attentive and timely.Happy to return here the next time we pass through Albany.Parking: Located in a mini shopping center there was sufficient parking.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid menu with three options. Works for most kids preferences. Our kid was fine with eating what we had. They also had high chairs available for younger kids.“

“I went in 20 minutes before the lunch service was scheduled to close on a Saturday and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too late for an impromptu take out order. They not only accommodated my request but it was done with the 20 minutes (or less!) and everything was excellent.It was my 1st time ever and I was rushing through the lunch menu for familiar items. I went with the standards: Spring rolls, Steamed pork dumplings, Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Tempora. My mom and I were both very pleased with the food and there was enough to have a second meal on Sunday as well.Thank you Sushi Thai. “I have never been to a hibachi before. The experience here was incredible. The chef cooked all are food in a great and timely manner. My one friend is allergic to seafood so her food was cooked first as it should be. The rest of us got our food shortly thereafter. The food was fresh and hot. I would definitely go back again. I think I'm hooked!“

“My friends and I were passing through the state the day after the solar eclipse. Our last dining experience was absolutely horrid. THIS place however, got it all right. Vibes were impeccable. “Average sushi. Definitely way more options than Wasabi in Albany, but the quality depending on the roll is either the same, slightly better, or worse. I’d say sushi and sashimi pieces are 5/5 and way better than wasabi (huge pieces of fish!!! And good quality). But the rolls such as spicy tuna, salmon, etc had this weird breading in it that tasted like it came from frozen sushi aisle at a grocery store. “Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, service could use some work. A lot of staff standing around staring but not offering to help. We stood at the hostess station for 5 minutes to check in for our reservations and finally one girl asked if she could help me. It was a bit strange. However, once seated, things went smoothly and the service was fast. We were a party of 3 and we love sushi so that's what we all got and shared our varieties. I also tried the spicy tuna wontons and they were amazing! Just like crab rangoons but maybe better with the sauces provided - so yummy! We would recommend this restaurant and would go back. Maybe by then their staff will be better trained on greeting customers??“

“I've been here twice. The first time was on a Thursday evening about an hour before closing, very quiet. The second was at 5:45pm on a Saturday, where we got the last available table, all counter and free table space was devoted to holding bags of take-out, and the waiting area was standing room only about 20 minutes later. The good news is that there was no difference in the quality of the food or service provided between these two distinctly different visits. My first experience was the intense aroma of the tea they serve, I almost couldn't wait for it to finish steeping. Strong flavor continued beyond with appetizers and sauces. The rolls were well prepared, accompanied by generous amounts of wasabi and ginger. Small amounts of wasabi enhanced the flavors of the fish rolls, no accompaniment was needed beyond that. For what initially appears to be a small menu, the number of rolls available is amazing. Service was on point, we received just the right amount of service and attention, and tea refills came out quickly. Even at the busiest times, there was no chaos, no backlog, no perceived problems.“

“So good. Very fresh. Edamame was warm and tender and perfectly seasoned. Rolls were delicious. Love anything with spicy salmon inside and they have some excellent special rolls with spicy salmon in them. Great service too. It’s a little bright in there, that’s the only thing I didn’t like. Also very loud, but you could expect that considering it’s a busy, popular place.“

See my picture... it's a creative repurposing of items left over from the previous day plus some rolls and nigiri. That fish under the sesame seeds is a slab of miso black cod.... incredible and worth the price all by itself!“

“I am not a Chinese food person. However, I actually enjoy this restaurant. So far, I have tried the house fried rice, house noodles, orange chicken, curry chicken, chicken Satay and crab rangoon. I actually think crab rangoon was tasty and crunchy. It has authentic flavor. I thought the curry chicken was flavorful and not heavy. I say my fave so far is the house noodles. It has all beef, chicken and seafood. I also want to mention, the portions are huge and the price is reasonable. I have only had take outs but I will be a repeat customer. I would recommend as Chinese food go, there is above average.“

“This poke is amazing! Everything is fresh and tasty, and the staff are really friendly. Feel so good to have large bites with a spoon after mixing everything together. I'll suggest to have the cucumbers cubed instead of slided so that will be easier to mix. Anyway, all good, definitely return to get more!“

The atmosphere is nice and the menu is huge which I don't mind. The tea should have been served in tea cups not glass cups. Keep up the good work. “Koto was packed on Saturday evening, but their staff kept things moving. We sat at a hibachi table, but I did not partake. Ordering off their Koto's menu I had a great meal. My Tom Yum Udon Noodle Soup with chicken was filling and very tasty. The Salmon on the Beach was savory and enjoyed by all. Koto's Sauteed Seafood Udon was another delicious offering. The Tom Yum and Seafood Udon had ample to go boxes. All my selections were served at the hibachi table. A very good meal.Parking: Front of Koto gets packed, but plenty of parking along the side and behind Koto.“

The food was fresh and hot, delicious and delivered to our table quickly by our very sweet and friendly server.We all got bento boxes and were happy with the quality, quantity and taste of the food. “we love tengu asian bistro! it's our favorite place for sushi! especially today...I think we received the best grab Rangoon ever!! idk what is different about it, but it almost tastes like there's a coconut flavor in them as well as the dipping sauce. they were great to begin with, but whatever was done differently today was even better, keep doing it!“
