“The seaweed salad was a little fishy weird tasting. Maybe not that fresh. The unagi (eel) sashimi also had a weird taste.. The salmon sashimi was good. The Rock shrimp were pretty good just a little greasy. The 2 rolls ordered were ok. Probably won't order from here again unfortunately.“

“Had not been in the area for over a month. Was happy to see its finally open! They have a special passover menu which I was happy to see. They aren't serving rice or alcohol and have a special kosher soy sauce. Believed she mentioned it being made in house. The service was great they were very attentive and knowledgable. Ambiance was relaxing and tranquil. Last part, best part the sushi was fresh and delicious. I had the premium temaki. Will for sure return with my children.“

“My sister wanted to celebrate her birthday at Yoho Japanese Fusion Restaurant. We enjoyed every part from decorations to food presentations. We recommend ordering any Sushi but we ordered Spicy Tuna and Salmon Roll (especially the spicy flavored sushi), Mango Bubble Tea and Miso soup. If you have allergies they’ll let you know what’s inside each dish. Everything is on the menu. The food was really good. Everyone was sweet and professional. She always checked on to make sure we are satisfied and enjoying. We are definitely returning soon.“

“I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“

“Fresh and great quality sashimi/sushi, especially for the price! It’s a small shop so we always get take out and it never disappoints. The salmon nigiri is the star of the show for sure! The spicy tuna is great too if you like it on the spicier side ;DPicture: Dragon roll + medium nigiri sashimi sushi roll combo $97“

“I have gotten sushi from Sakana for at least 5-6 years now and I can tell you I have never be disappointed. I have always ordered take out but even then it is always perfection. The service is fast and the sweet lady’s in the front are always so kind and talkative. They make you feel like family and it’s why I always choose to come back. Please support a local business with real people. You wont regret it.“

“Great price for omakase, after taxes and tips was 180 ish for 18 courses. All the servers were polite and nice. The atmosphere was ehh, we came with 12 people so we thought it will be more private but they also have regular dinner tables set up in the same room as omakase. Other than that everything was fresh and a very decent price for what I wasserved.“

“A great addition to the neighborhood! Was super excited to have my first omakase experience since after my 2nd pregnancy without the hassle of traveling to the city. I was prepared and made sure I didn’t eat too much before hand since we did the 17 piece set.Chef Sam was a master at his craft! And he was super sweet! Each piece was distinctly garnished. I’ve had experiences where during a bigger course set .. the sushi would start tasting the same after like 12 pieces but not here!!Super great value too as I’ve had more pricey omakase in the city that’s up to par with this place. The only con I’d say is that on open table , it said it’ll be a 1 hr experience but it took 2 hours . They explained that Sundays are usually the only day with one chef as it’s more quiet but it’s just so happen that this particular Sunday was busy !“

“We have been coming here for over half a year and it’s our go to spot for sushi. It’s the only place outside of Manhattan where we can get fish that doesn’t cause my skin to react. The quality and preparation is ways above the local sushi joints.“

“Restaurant is super cute, with just enough seating for a couple groups. Onigiri was delicious! I loved the different options available, and was super happy that they had vegan options because it gives me another place to go with friends who have food restrictions! Also, the tea was super yummy and had tons of customization options. To top it off, the woman working there was super nice and informative and patient! Definitely going back!!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options available! They had 4 different rice balls that were listed vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s handicap parking, and the tables have separate chairs, and there’s plenty of room to move“

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!“

“A hidden gem! A quaint spot where you really feel like an insider that knows the best kept secret.... that Sushi Palace in West Hempstead is one of is not the best sushi spot on Long Island! Mai the owner makes you feel like family and if you go as much as I do she'll even remember your order lol I always recommend this place to any sushi snob such as myself. They use the freshest ingredients with Sushi and sashimi that literally melts in your mouth. They offer other yummy Japanese food as well. Support a local business that seriously delivers every single time, you will not be disappointed.“

“Good food, best in the area. I would come back. I think they are likely the best Japanese restaurant in the area. The Sushi/rolls were excellent, Kitchen entrees were very good as well. However, their ramen noodles could be better, soup base was good but the ramen is too soft. Overall great experience.“

“This is my second review on saying a sushi place is top 3! And by far, they have some of the BEST sushi anywhere I've ever been. Their sushi was the first time I ate sushi all those years ago, and it has been INCREDIBLE every time. The workers there are so kind and so respectful, and the dine in presentation is amazing. An example is the teriyaki chicken's presentation that you don't want to miss.“

“Came here for lunch and it was great. Wonderful portion size and a good selection of bento box. Not served in a traditional bento box but a 4-sectioned plate. Soup and salad served separately. “This location is near my place and I always see it when I pass by. Tonight I felt like stopping by to pick an order to go. The place looks a cool spot to hang with friends and family and super clean and helpful. I skimmed thru the menu quick and the Karaage Curry caught my eye since it was a curry dish !!! I must say the food was good! However, it was a big disappointment in which there was no curry ..? Just some sweet sauce drizzled on the chicken katsu. I was really looking forward to this dish/my dinner but the curry was a no show! Kindly can do better with this dish by actually adding the curry sauce!!“

“The food is SO good!!! The people working there are SO nice. We had an amazing time trying different skewers and everyone was delicious. Lots of choices on the menu, we took our time and ordered a few different plates. The lemonade, by the way, was delicious, sweet, but not too sweet❤️Can’t wait to return! One thing to keep in mind, this part of the restaurant is on the second floor. There are stairs leading up to it. It’s a small place, but if there’s a wait, it will be worth the wait.“

“I didn’t realize that there were two DIFFERENT restaurants in the same building. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic. The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish! We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!“

“Had a great experience at Kissaki Manhasset. The hospitality of the staff is top notch, and the manager Frank was able to help my party use up an old gift card we had purchased back when there was a store in LIC. Would definitely return again!“
“Me and my husband came here for lunch it was super nice service with green tea refills! We had the nicest waitress! Received a complimentary sweer potato roll with our order and it was really scrumptious and savoury! I had the Tokyo roll and Bayridge roll with spicy mayo on top! I had the Bayridge roll twice it is so delicious with cream cheese salmon avocado and masago on top! My husband. My husband ordered a Yoshi roll (shrimp tempura in the middle with spicy tuna on top) - He also ordered a Volcano roll which looked absolutely delicious and he liked this roll the best part it had salmon tempura on top and california roll in the middle - would definitely come back here again. They had decent prices. Did not get a stomach ache from here been getting that lately from sushi in Long Island. Queens NY is the go to for good sushi it seems. Next time I want to try their Gentleman roll which looked so good it has a green soy wrap paper instead of seaweed. Picture of this is in the middle of their menu. Do come here and enjoy“

“First time we were here, for lunch, the food and quality was truly amazing. The pieces were above normal size and taste were amazing. Perhaps was because they just open for business? Our second visit it not as first time, the sashimi and sushi got smaller and now it is normal just like any other sushi place. I wish the restaurant focus more on quality and quantity, not trying to cut back and cut corner. This would bring back customers constantly....“

“Great spot to grab some sushi. They have loads of other dishes too like udon, yakisoba and bento boxes. There is a decent assortment of sake too l. We dined in and the wait can be a bit long depending on how busy the establishment is. There were a lot of people picking up phone orders. We ordered a bunch of rolls, some "otoro" fatty tuna nigiri and some apps. The sushi was decent, nothing amazing but wasn't low quality either. My favorite roll was the 73rd street roll which is topped with pieces of Mango and has a bit of jalepeno in it. The otoro nigiri was amazing though since the fatty tuna just melts in your mouth. Overall this a good spot if you are in the mood for sushi.“
