“I tried the new menu Ramen and bubble tea yesterday. The ramen is probably the best in the area. Will be my go-to ramen place from now on. The owner said he made the broth in-house from scratch. You can really taste the difference from those artificial broths.“

“This place never disappointed. We usually get the creme brulee crepe with strawberry and banana add ons. The fruit is fresh, not that frozen fruit or syrupy fruit in a can that other establishments use. The brulee is sweet without being sugary which is always a plus. I usually order it with a refreshing iced jasmine tea.“

“I am not a Chinese food person. However, I actually enjoy this restaurant. So far, I have tried the house fried rice, house noodles, orange chicken, curry chicken, chicken Satay and crab rangoon. I actually think crab rangoon was tasty and crunchy. It has authentic flavor. I thought the curry chicken was flavorful and not heavy. I say my fave so far is the house noodles. It has all beef, chicken and seafood. I also want to mention, the portions are huge and the price is reasonable. I have only had take outs but I will be a repeat customer. I would recommend as Chinese food go, there is above average.“

“Koto was packed on Saturday evening, but their staff kept things moving. We sat at a hibachi table, but I did not partake. Ordering off their Koto's menu I had a great meal. My Tom Yum Udon Noodle Soup with chicken was filling and very tasty. The Salmon on the Beach was savory and enjoyed by all. Koto's Sauteed Seafood Udon was another delicious offering. The Tom Yum and Seafood Udon had ample to go boxes. All my selections were served at the hibachi table. A very good meal.Parking: Front of Koto gets packed, but plenty of parking along the side and behind Koto.“

We started with a white miso with soft tofu and seaweed before having beef tataki, which was tender and perfectly flavored with scallions and their house sauce.Japanese couple running the front of house, kitchen and sushi bar. The wait for the sushi, which we chose a la carte, was worth every bite. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fish was fresh. We had the eel and avocado, yellowtail, tuna and salmon rolls. “This is the best sushi restaurant in the area. I have had sushi in Vancouver BC and this sushi is as fresh and top quality . It is fresh, generous portions and staff is over the top accommodating. I eat here 2x a week. They value family and look out for their customers. Also it is wonderfully priced! Love you all!“

“I went in 20 minutes before the lunch service was scheduled to close on a Saturday and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too late for an impromptu take out order. They not only accommodated my request but it was done with the 20 minutes (or less!) and everything was excellent.It was my 1st time ever and I was rushing through the lunch menu for familiar items. I went with the standards: Spring rolls, Steamed pork dumplings, Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Tempora. “I have never been to a hibachi before. The experience here was incredible. The chef cooked all are food in a great and timely manner. My one friend is allergic to seafood so her food was cooked first as it should be. The rest of us got our food shortly thereafter. The food was fresh and hot. I would definitely go back again. I think I'm hooked!“

“BEST all you can eat sushi in Albany. Most people know other restaurants for their all you can east sushi but Ruby City is way way better. Appetizers are included in the all you can eat, the sushi are big!, the lighting is nice, the decorations are lovely, it’s clean, the service is amazing, and the most importantly the food is sooo good. Get their gyoza! We got like three servings lol.This is our new sushi spot “

“So good. Very fresh. Edamame was warm and tender and perfectly seasoned. Rolls were delicious. Love anything with spicy salmon inside and they have some excellent special rolls with spicy salmon in them. Great service too. It’s a little bright in there, that’s the only thing I didn’t like. Also very loud, but you could expect that considering it’s a busy, popular place.“

“I love ramen and Tanpopo's ramen is excellent. I have been twice in the last couple of months and will certainly return. On both visits the service was prompt and friendly. Housed in an old dining car (worth visiting just for that) it is a fun and delicious Albany destination. That person on ESPN who made the disparaging remark about Albany should have gone to Tanpopo.“

The food was fresh and hot, delicious and delivered to our table quickly by our very sweet and friendly server.We all got bento boxes and were happy with the quality, quantity and taste of the food. “We have always gone here for any celebrations and had a great experience. Tonight was good but not great. We were a party of 12 and made reservations. Once we were all seated it was like we were rushed to leave. Ordered drinks which too longer than normal. Order two plates of sushi and they came mid way through our meal. Cooking started before soup or salad. Once the cooking was done. Boxes came out but we were celebrating our granddaughter’s 7th birthday. So was asked if we could get something for her. Took a little bit but ice cream, candle and singing but there were 5 other kids at the table who wanted ice cream too. Asked for them to have some and waited 20 minutes. It was such an odd experience. We will go back but please slow down Hanzo! This is what we pay for…a nice evening out. To give a time frame, we sat down at 435 and we were done at 530 but then waited for ice cream.“
