“Amongst the 3 of us, we had a salad, three entrees, and two desserts. The agnolotti was absolutely spectacular. The pasta was perfect with a creamy cheese filling, and the sauce with its slightly lemony flavor was well complimented by the peas and scallions. The little peppers were sweet and fresh, and they added so much flavor. The white cheesecake and raspberry sorbet was light and beautiful. And the tiramisu was perfect. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was cool. I would definitely return here in a minute!“

“LIC bar is a very chill, relaxing, fun place. Cheap beer, live music, and outdoor seating. Great place to go in the summer and winter. The backyard area is fantastic and a great spot to just unwind. It is spacious and they have one of my favorite beers, but the selection is not that big.“

“Ok as a resident of this area for 15 years, this place on 31st Ave btw 37 and 38 has turned over so many times, especially in the past 5 years. Jaguar is BY FAR the best all-around winner of any restaurant that's been there. Great food, great vibes, great staff, beautiful backyard area. Vegan/GF options available. The owner came over to say hi and check on us, and he was so friendly and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming place with fantastic food. There were like 6 things on the menu I wanted to order, but I can personally vouch for a fantastic waffle and the unique salad my fiancé had. I'm not really a bar goer, but the server told me they also have a cool vibe at night with a DJ. Please come show support so I don't lose my new favorite spot!“

“The food was tasty but the real five-star experience is the service. Aaron went out of his way to make us feel welcome, he was super friendly and very attentive. Just based off of that, we will definitely be back soon! The location and atmosphere was lovely as well. Highly recommend for brunch or to have a few drinks(:“

“a no frill old school irish bar in astoria that looks dull from the outdoor and dull in the inside which i really like. my cuz told me that he loves coming here for the booze, poolt table , darts , music , and the many regular characters that he has met over the years. the bartenders seem to know everyone name and the old wooden bar and stool just seems right for an irish bar. a few lite beers , play a little pool , watch the nets and knicks play and have a long interesting history lesson on the vietnam war from my new friend timmy the veteran and i am just dandy. not flashy with all the bells and whistles as other fancy bars and lounges in astoria but for tonight its better being old school simple. overall 4.5 stars on my yelp meter.“
