“The guy who worked there last night is a GEM! I ordered online close to closing and he still asked if I wanted cheese in my hero, put it on for me, and stuck it back in the oven. He also told me that if I called directly to the restaurant for a pick up order, it’s a few bucks cheaper. I had a rough day at work and needed comfort food that wasn’t fast food and he just made it that much better. Thank you!Eggplant parm hero also hit the spot! Will be back.”

“I ordered the pork plate and was delighted with every part of it. They do not skimp on flavor or portions! The rice and beans would have been perfect by themselves but paired so well with that juicy pork. Also, you can't go wrong with maduros! I was offered to get a part of the crsipy skin too, which was soo nice as it's one of my favorite parts! I finished this fantastic plate with a heavenly guava and cheese empanada. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be visiting again.”

“Great place for take out or eat-in. The staff are friendly and respectful. Cozy and clean atmosphere. Great for breakfast and deli sandwiches. Their bagels are made fresh in house. Just wish they has an unsalted-everything bagel option. They offer catering menu as well. Prices are reasonable with excellent quality and portions. A neighborhood gem in Medford!”

“Consistently excellent. Normally when I go to a Jamaican restaurants I'm ready to fight because the person behind the counter always has a bad attitude but here...the gentleman was kind, courteous and patient while I did the "can i get uhhhhh ummmmm" looking at the menu. I ordered 3 days in a row at different times to ensure it wasn't a fluke. The j*** chicken and pork were Consistently, flavorful, juicy and tender. I had to go into rehab to detox because $30 a day isn't sustainable. Was going to go today but they seem to be closed on Mondays. Can't wait to go back. I'm happy they car to our community.”

“We order a take out Gluten-free pizza. My family has celiac. My husband called it in. Told them what we needed an asked them to be extra careful l. The person on the phone told him the precautions they take. Said 25 minutes. Husband picked it up. The guy also explained the precautions and said they didn't even cut. As we are in a hotel he asked for them to cut it with a clean/new cutter. They took it went out back and cut it with a new cutter. It was amazing excellent sauce amazing cheese. Crust was really good. Loved it.”

“Seems like all of a sudden there is a lack of frozen yogurt spots where I live. This one was really nice. The guy working there is friendly, lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. The pricing is on par with other froyo shops. Expensive but they all are. Figure a large cup with toppings around $8”

Perfect. No frills but delicious and personally taken cared of. A place where they’ll remember you. I’ll keep coming back. My 2 year old ate his first BEC here. “It's just an event space. Perfect for meetings and medium sized events. There was food served but it was catered by someone other then owners.Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver”

“Ohmygosh! What a wonderful experience! I had a long day traveling, and was too beat to cook so I called my husband and asked him if he wanted to go out for Chinese tonight. He said OK, and I wanted to go o.the Golden Star. He said that was fine..Well, it was better than fine...the atmosphere is lovely, a bit noisy but it was people having fun noisy...The food was outstanding and plentiful. Compliments to the chief! I have lots leftover!!! Our server, Hun was a delightful young lady, very sweet, and attentive. And the bartender, Dana makes a "killa" Bamboozled drink that is delicious. A fun group was at the bar as we were leaving and I had to say what a great time we had.We definitely will be going back!They don't allow for more options of foods to recommend!All I could check off was Won Ton soup!!! Waaaaaaay more to recommend!”
