“Just had some takeout sandwiches. My favorite was the Chopped Cheese sandwich which rich in flavor. The filling was packed. It was so fresh. The bun was good and tasty too. The staff was so friendly and made sandwiches promptly. My food was packed properly. Highly recommend this place. They have lots of options.“

“I ordered the famous lobster salad bagel. The staff are very friendly and will let you sample the recommended ingredients. This time I also tried the lobster salad. It was delicious and satisfying to eat with just the lobster meat. When I ate in, many local elderly people came to eat at the restaurant, and I realized that it was a restaurant that was loved by the locals.“

“This unassumingly-named place is popular and for good reason. They make their own soy milk and 豆腐花 (tofu pudding) fresh every day. You can get it in a small or large takeout container. ($2.50 for a small thing of warm soy milk; not sure what the pudding prices are, but that's clearly their best selling item.) They also make other sweets and things like 粽 (Chinese tamales), which is next on my list to try!“

“Sam's Deli has the best omelettes, classic NYC' chopt cheese, and sandwiches in the West Village. It is THE best take-out deli in my West Village neighborhood ... the go-to place from r everyone in our neighborhood... such nice people!“

“The kimchi and pickled radish tasted just like in Korea, and the bulgogi rice bowl, teriyaki rice bowl, and soba noodles were very delicious. It was also surprising that there were more local customers than Korean customers. Korean food seems to have become more popular now. I really liked the smiles of the staff. I think I'll come here at least once every two days while I'm in Manhattan. Of course, if I lived here, I would want to come every day. Since there are only a few tables, it may be difficult for groups to visit, but they allow about 3 people to sit at each table and arrange about 3-5 tables. Basically, it is more like a take-out store. There were 6 of us, 3 at each table, and we ate well. Highly recommended“

“This place is such a great addition to the neighborhood. Great music with tons of music memorabilia to look at. Excellent food and drink but the real draw is the atmosphere. The owners are awesome too - they just want everyone to have a good time.“

“visited for breakfast our first day in Newyork, recommended by a local. food was some of the best I've had, scrambled egg with cheese and bacon was amazing“
“I live in a distant land lacking worldly pleasures like discovering random alcoholic beverages at late-night delis. A place called New Jersey. In New York you can buy Four Loko at midnight and even shop on Sundays. This deli has a good selection of drinks, beef jerky and Sahale snacks, as well as friendly service and a perfect location for fellow NJ-based seekers of NYC enlightenment.“

“Just devoured an Italian sandwich here…really “hit the spot.” Small sandwich was definitely a large enough portion. Hidden gem on the southeast corner of 8th Ave and 29th Str. Meat quality is amazing; hot dishes are there too including meatballs, pasta, and sausage. Thought the roll could have been better. Overall…I like it“

“the coinbread nutella taste amazing the staff are friendly they took care of me and answer all my questions .the only issue is no bathroom or seats which is the only reason I don’t think I come back to this place but other than that is good to try at least once“
“Wow sometimes the unexpected happens, and you become pleasantly surprised.. my staff recommended this deli. I am always in the mood got a good turkey wrap with spinach and tomato. I stopped by M and O on Thompson and placed my order. I was asked if I wanted wrap toasted and I said yes. As I waited the menu is insane! Peri Peri chicken? What? That's a Portuguese special ( found out owner is from Portugal). There's rice pudding and empanadas.. one can find most anything here!. I took the sandwich back to work and was pleasantly surprised: wrap was pressed like a Cuban sandwich press. The turkey so fresh.. just loved every bite! I highly recommend this deli! M and O, FG is adding you to her Yelp rotation!“
“Stopped by for lunch, space is clean and staff are super friendly! Been wanting to try their chopped cheese and it was an amazing combination of flavors and so good that I brought some friends here later the same night. Would stop by again if in the neighborhood to try their other sandwiches!“

“I stand by my local delis! Working on 5th Ave midtown there are not many bodega type deli options close by, only overpriced tourist type joints. This place has saved the day. Stocked with just about every drink you could want, I’ve reached the peak of deli ordering where I no longer have to say my order, just call and they recognize my voice and know my order. Service like this is a gem in a land that can feel easy to be lost in. Quality breakfast sandwiches, drink and sand which usually around $10 which is great for midtown. Open till 12 most days with the grill not closing. Literally everything I can ask for, owner and his brother are very nice people and always behind the grill willing to put in the work when busy. Lots of respect.“

“We could not recommend this hidden gem more. What a lovely bunch of friendly people working here. We were staying in a hotel nearby and it was the perfect place to pop in for breakfast. My kids loved it. Really great food at excellent prices. They had an unbelievable selection of salads, bagels, pastries etc. Loved supporting a local deli like this rather than the big chains. Far better quality food and service. Keep up the great work guys.“

“their pastrami on rye, of course. But you have to stick to your guns and order just 1 and share it with a date when a waitress will recommend or insist you order two. One order is enough for two really“
