“I eat here pretty much every time I'm in New York.Is it the best Peruvian food I've ever had? No...that restaurant is actually a few blocks away. But it's sold, and consistent with excellent service. The restaurant is well maintained, beautiful and has great atmosphere.“

“I had such a great time at Dora's Thursday happy hour. Great place to reunite with friends. Food was good, drinks well priced and the owner was a delight. My steak came out a little less red than I like but the flavor was delicious. One of my friends requested to add chicken to her pasta and the owner was happy to accommodate and my friend loved her dish.Vegetarian options: No meat Pasta, salad and vegetable dishes were on the menu .Dietary restrictions: There was enough of a variety for all to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a gentleman in a wheelchair that appeared to be able to get around easily. Spacious dining area.“

“The chicken is excellent. The green sauce, remarkably by itself, makes everything better. Yucas, beans, rice, all top notch. The ceviche is also excellent and fresh. We just love this place. Only average thing is the salad- a skip with iceberg and flavorless tomatoes.“

“Great experience, waiter was very knowledgeable and explained every single detail. He was also very engaging. Food was definitely very good and there was many great options. Only reason im not giving it a 5 star is because the place looks fancy the people that go were very well dressed but the utensils did not look up to that it may be very minor detail but i feel like its all part of the dining experience.“

“Great authentic Peruvian food , the best ceviche that isn’t ridiculously overpriced in the city ! As a person who comes from South American background and grew up in Queens going to many Peruvian restaurants the flavor is definitely worth the trip to Essex Market in LES if you want an authentic ceviche mixto in Manhattan.“

“I came here because my friend recommended me to try the Rotisserie chicken. I came here with a pescatarian friend so I ordered the seafood options.First time trying peruvian food. Had some ceviche, jalea (seafood platter), and tostones. The ceviches was incredible, my peruvian friends that came with me said that its delicious. However the Jalea is a bit too fried. And also the tostones is not as good as my Peruvian liked it to be. I think the oil they use that day isn’t as fresh, hence the dark color of the fried food. However the service was great. The staff is very attentive to us. Would be back to try the Juanita’s chicken (Rotisserie chicken)later.“
