My meal was timed perfectly, and I was checked in on regularly by my server and the staff. I ended up dining by myself but never felt alone. Kristina provided exceptional service and was even kind enough to notice I was wearing black pants, and looked for a black napkin so there wouldn't be any transfer from the white napkin. There are many steakhouses in NYC, but this small, quaint one had it all - atmosphere, service and amazing food !I was traveling alone and sat at the bar (seats for 4 at the bar proper and a few cocktail tables)My host for the evening was a lovely man from Albania, Sheriff. My steak was perfectly medium rare and the wine recommendation paired perfectly. There is a small area for outside seating on a beautiful night and the staff if friendly and accommodating.“

“Sparks is an institution in NYC, but I thought the food was not quite up to my expectations. Again, for these kinds of prices and at $150 per person on food alone, I always expect goodness, if not greatness. The cocktail shrimp tasted ok but lacked that plumpness and freshness, the caprese had good mozzarella but really poor tomatoes, the steaks were large in size and of good quality, but not over the top tastewise, the veal chop was big and pretty tasty, the sides (hash browns, mashed potatoes and spinach) were just ok, nothing to rave about. It is tough to express the feeling of "almost there"... We ordered a dessert (tiramisu) that was nice but a small portion for the price. The staff, from the bar to the host and waitstaff, were all great and pleasant. Straight to the point, steakhouse style, but no rudeness as in some other similar establishments... The venue itself was nice and clean, the decor felt like it's been in its juice for a while, but that makes its charm. To conclude, I am happy to have been there for the experience (old school NYC vibes for sure...), but I am not certain that I'll need to return.“

“It had been many years since I had been to BLT PRIME but it had lost none of its excellence in either the food, ambiance or service categories. My son and I occupied a nice roomy corner booth and enjoyed a delicious Porterhouse steak along with the delicious POPOVERS (large and scrumptious ) , preceded by super appetizers. Desserts were super as well. My one minor peeve is the absence of MAKERS MARK Bourbon for my pre dinner Manhattan, a surprising omission in a steak place of this caliber, but the Woodstock replacement proved to be a decent alternative. Overall, a superb evening of dining on all counts. I will be back in the near future.“

My husband and I love to split things (highly recommend the specials: crab/shrimp stuffed zucchini blossoms, the heirloom tomato salad and the Sea Bass) and they accommodated us beautifully even bringing gratis digestifs to accompany our tiramisu. Our sitting was at 12:30 on a Friday and found that the venue wasnt that busy which made it rather quiet and didnt add to ambiance but not a major deal for us. The views out to Central Park make this location a great pick for a high quality dining experience with amazing views.“

“Arrived at 11:43AM and there was already a small line at the door on a rainy day. Steak and sauce was INCREDIBLE. You have the choice between rare, medium, and well NO in between. After the walnut salad appetizer, two portions of steak frites (staggered) come out, 2nd seemed a little smaller but was still a great amount of food for the cost $35 per plate. We came in with luggage and they were very accommodating despite the smaller space. Definitely want to come back again.“

“This restaurant genuinely surprised me! I am not usually fond of steakhouses, but their meat selection was perfect! We ordered the Porterhouse for Three, in addition to the Rack of Lamb. The porterhouse had more blood than my liking, but this time, it did not bother me. Not only was the meat easy to cut into, but it was very juicy and tender! The lamb was a bit more chewy, but was still very delicious. If you are given a choice for sides, I definitely recommend the Creamless Creamed Spinach. Even though there is no cream, it still feels like there is. I also recommend the Chocolate Lava Cake. The hot chocolate and soft cake with the rich vanilla ice cream was just divine. On a side note, I do not think there is a dress code. I was able to come in with casual attire. However, I do recommend dining in, at least, business-casual attire as majority of the patrons were dressed up.“

“We are staying at a hotel down the block from the restaurant and stopped in for a late dinner. A customer leaving told us the food was amazing and we wouldn’t be disappointed. The manager Angela was very pleasant and told us about the history of the restaurant and asked us about our visit to NYC. We were treated to their amazing chocolate cake! “The shrimp cocktail is a delight as is the filet mignon and their basket of rolls. I would skip dessert though, especially the chocolate mousse and the key lime pie. Subpar to say the least. Better to share a dessert with someone if you decide you must order a dessert. If it's bad, just send it back. With the prices they charge, diners should get some type of dessert on the House.“

“Food was great, we loved the wagyu meatballs and the steaks ( prime ribeye & prime porterhouse). Our waiter really helped us since we weren’t familiar with the US metric system ( oz.- gramms) and with picking our wine. However, it seemed strange for us having a nice dinner on our vacation and were forced hearing people cheering loudly for an NBA game. Please set the limits to your restaurant and your customers because some people spend an extra to eat a dinner after a long day! If we wanted to cheer for the knicks we would have went to a bar! It ruins the customer experience and the great food we had.“
