“This place is busy, and for the right reasons! We went here in the evening and got a Pollo Asada. The craft and technique with which the chef made our taco, was truly impressive. The chicken was so soft and flavourful. We really enjoyed it. Though we would've enjoyed some hot sauce on it too, but we didn't notice the sauce bar in the back in time. This place gives you a street vendor vibe, in a closed restaurant - which I liked.“

“Small taco house but taste good. I passed by chance and it’s afternoon. Start with beef taco first and taste good so decide to have burrito bowl to complete my meal. They have small seating space in front of the shop that you can sit to enjoy your meal. Credit card accepted. “

“Being from southern California, I had high high hopes for this birria and consome and I was not disappointed! A great deal for 3 tacos for $12. Their mulitas were absolutely heavenly and that consome was cooked to perfection I drank the entire thing after dipping my tacos and mulita. We took these to go and sat at a nearby dog park to eat it. There was on line when we went (a Friday at around lunch time) which I was pleasantly surprised by! While we were waiting, another patron eagerly exclaimed that she had been looking for this food truck and wasn't aware that they had moved locations so it's evident this spot is beloved and sought out. Will definitely be returning in the future.“

No napkins in the dispenser and there was no hurry to fill it although a steady stream of customers were in and out. It happens I guess. Take out is the way here.“

“Went to this rooftop with a few girlfriends and had a blast. It's so good for tacos and cheap drinks during their happy hour. I would recommend getting there early even if you have a reservation, because the line builds up to go up the elevator and check ID's, and is unfortunately shared with the hotel if they need to use their service elevator. I missed 40 minutes of the reservation due to this, despite being on time.“

“I can’t emphasize enough how much we absolutely love BIRRIA LES. Perfect tacos, perfect service, perfect vibes, all at a perfect price. We probably come here once a week, and the food is consistently delicious. The dumplings are juicy and flavorful- it’s my favorite thing on the menu. And it’s all halal! Wide variety of options too. If you’re in the city, it’s a must stop and have situation. Like, MUST. So slay. Also, we love Sumaita; staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s like, Super Slay. They are also open late btw. Anyway, I dream about it in an earnest but also a very critical way. Not even a joke. So yeah you should definitely try it!“

“I had a crispy fish taco (which was delicious), a steak taco (which I didn't care for), & nachos & guacamole (which was just okay). I love mexican cuisine, but this restaurant didn't do it for me, & here is why. They don't have traditional margaritas. They don't use tequila to make their margaritas. They use wine or something that was just weird to me. I tried it, & didn't like it. They don't give you sour cream with your steak tacos. When I asked one of the guys about this, he said that's only at taco bells. I just laughed, because one I don't eat taco bells. Two, I've been to serval Mexican restaurants, that have sour cream, & the chucky salsa. Anyhow, I had a Mexican pineapple soda, that was pretty tasty. The employees there was super friendly. The waitress that had my table was nice & attentive.I'm sure they have other delicious items on their menu, but I don't like the fact, that I would have to go somewhere else to have a cocktail. With that being said; I will go back to try other food items on their menu.“

“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“

“This place has the legit street taco that is so hard to find in NYC. Tacos are great (el pastor & Carnitas my fav) and remind me of my California days in LA where you can get that perfect simple street taco that lets the ingredients do the talking. The tacos are super fresh and fantastic flavor.They also do a $2 taco Tuesday deal which is pretty insane now a days.The atmosphere is pretty bare bones but don't let that stop you, the staff is super nice and quick service.Kid-friendliness: Great family spot, staff super nice.“

“The Food was incredible . We had the crispy fish and seared fish tacos. So goooddd. We also had guacamole and the corn esquite. 10/10 . Oh and the shrimp tacos has a crispy layer of cheddar in it! “We came in for the bottomless brunch deal using a pulsd voucher and we were wowed! The tacos were all fresh and delicious!! Very unique and generous portions!! The margaritas were outstanding!! Our service was the best part, honestly…our server, Carol, was the sweetest and so attentive!! She made sure our drinks were full, that our tacos kept coming and we had everything we needed! The host/server Kayla is so sweet and the food and drinks were quick. The margs are strong & not too sweet, we got strawberry, kiwi strawberry, mandarin, and blood orange to drink. All yummy! You 100% must get the street corn (we’ll come here weekly for this and margaritas), and the chicken tinga nachos were amazing too. Super flavorful and loaded! “We were in NYC for a couple of days, The Overlook was next door to our hotel so of course we went in. The first night we had a great few hours with Sara the bartender. She was super friendly and fun to chat with. We went again the next night to watch Monday night football. Ended up at the bar with the owner and a few of his friends. We had a blast! The wings were great, really good sauce. The bartenders were wonderful. We left feeling like part of the family!! Highly recommend stopping in there.“

“I came here recently for a friend's birthday who was a big fan of tacos. I've also been here a few times to get a taco or two on the go when in the area. This time we got rice and ordered the 15 taco special for our group. We got shimp tacos, pork tacos, and chicken tacos. They were all delicious. We wanted to get the lamb tacos but they were all sold out. El Cabron is definitely what I would classify as a quintessential cheap eat for dining in. Most cheap eats are more suitable for just ordering it to go, which this place also has a separate store front next door to do. But El Cabron has the feel of dining at some grandma's house for a meal and is reasonably priced. The service is pretty cordial and quick. Normally, I would go with my local taco truck for a taco or burrito but I would go to El Cabron for tacos for sure. I am fan of value in terms of food quality with very little frills. The space itself is pretty small. Our group was the only somewhat big sized group in the establishment and in all fairness they could probably only fit one other group of 5-10 in the space. They also have a lot of day of the dead type decor in the space.“

“I’ve tried several tocombi chains, this one is the best one. Also the birria tacos beat the carne asado tacos at Los Tacos No.1 from my opinion. The beef is juicy, sauce is authentic, a dip in the soup adds up its flavors, which makes each bite very wholesome. I just added another place to the list of my soul food. Love love it.“

“Absolutely love this place - elevated Mexican restaurant with a range of tastey dishes! My favourite lunch items are the Shrimp Tacos and Sizzzling Steak Fajitas. For dinner, definitely their signature dish, Sizzling Molcajete AND Striped Bass :) And their desserts are to die for - churros & flan, over and over and over pleaseeeeeeee! Just went on Saturday evening and they had an amazing live performance by Sofia and on Sundays, they have the incredible live brunch with Rubamena - icing on cake. Goods eats, live performance and beautiful venue - what more can you ask for!!“

“Amazing sports bar, or spot to go dancing. There are two levels, so it's a great place to go with friends on the upper level for catching up, then heading downstairs when you want to dance. I've come here many times for football games/the Super Bowl and they have had (complimentary) Jell-O shots, being served, confetti and other fun party surprises. Such a FUN spot!“
